The Single Most Common Mechanism of All Chronic Disease

Chronic disease is cell death which is most commonly caused by poisons crowding out oxygen in blood, especially in the capillaries. Lactic Acidosis is the main condition causing this. As lactic acidosis increases in your body, the number of diagnoses increases also but it's all the same physiological process.
It's like a creek becoming a stream becoming a river which goes into a lake, then the ocean. It is all the same water, in different quantities, flowing by gravity- that's the natural process. But Man calls this water different names based on its shape or location. Lactic Acidosis is the water and gravity. Disease names are what Man uses to describe it.
Knowing the mechanism of disease now opens the door to truly handling it. This was well known by doctors from 1920 to 1961 then squashed by the FDA and AMA and forgotten.
I found it because of my own personal health decline (from black mold exposure) creating a severe personal need to figure it out, I was able to uncover the answers from 85 year old textbooks and 60 year old articles. Combine this with my 19 years of hardcore holistic nutritional practice, seeing an average of 70 patients a week.
The main teacher I learned from was Dr. Royal Lee whose supplement company, Standard Process, is still in business and still produces the original recipes of whole food supplements that began and continues my recovery.

2nd time listening to this one. I'm also binge listening to every video you have made. Darren Schmidt you are are genius. You have no idea how many health videos I've listened to over the last 4 years. Nobody understands disease and the human body as a whole like you do. I hope you get everything you ever desire in life for all your great work sharing all this knowledge with the public. Some of the people I have listened to had to leave the country because they were being hunted by the pharmaceutical industry. Be safe.

I know what is it with people?...I feel like he has shared the Holy Grail with us and we must share it with everyone we know and love and when I do..."Yeah yeah, Oh I know...sugar yeah." and then they go to Starbucks and ignore me. I try to tell people they don't have to be like me and go hard, they just need to get the science of the blood and not feed it sugar and refined foods, as an easy stop. I am leaning toward Carnivore now...but that's a whole 'nuther story. Dr. Schmidt knows. :) Vitamin B ALL of them, or the most we can get...key too. I give my daughter Nutritional Yeast and more MEAT in her diet and exercise...OXYGEN to the muscles and her teen "anxiety" uhhhhh GONE.

Probably the best presentation I've seen about overall health and nutrition. Every doctor I've followed before has only touched on the symptoms and general causes of diseases. I am convinced lactic acidosis is the reason of all my previous and present issues. Everything that was presented here I can relate to, from doctors visits, taking medication, and symptoms. Keep doing what you are doing!

So much less inflammation and pain i doubt I'll ever eat meat regularly again.

*A critique:* Drowsiness after high carbohydrate meals is due to the insulin spike, which shunts free amino acids into blood and therefore reduces competition for transport of tryptophan across the blood brain barrier. That isn't to say that alcohol or acetaldehyde aren't also involved, but you definitely didn't provide enough information to conclude that they are. You need to supply more information about how the byproducts of glucose metabolism are formed. If I understand correctly, these are conditional byproducts, and that would have been _very relevant_ to include in your talk; it's irresponsible or misleading not to. For example, the ethanol and acetaldehyde, as far as I understand it, are byproducts of _fructose metabolism_ (I'm willing to say that my knowledge of glucose metabolism is not PHD level so maybe I'm missing something, but that illustrates my point that further depth in your information is needed). Also, glucose metabolism only results in lactate accumulation in an already anaerobic state; lactate is pyruvate buffering until oxygen becomes available(as the oxygen would usually neutralize pH by binding to Hydrogen ions and creating water). You have yet to provide the connection between the b vitamin deficiency or the carbohydrate load and the acidosis of the blood. That being said 1) I find your work fascinating 2) I'm not biased against your work, in fact I've eaten strictly keto for 4 months, I'm making this critique for the due process of the knowledge. 3) My knowledge is incomplete, just doing my job to make it more complete. Edit1: after reviewing some biochem, I've learned that glycolysis, cellular respiration, and the electron transport chain all function cleanly without producing lactate, ethanol, acetaldehyde, or acetate in aerobic conditions. Only in anaerobic conditions with excess glucose will lactic acid fermentation be undergone, so now I've gotta figure out what initiates the anaerobic condition in the cell. Yes though, lactic acid fermentation does result in depletion of B-vitamins through the fermentation process. It would be scientifically responsible of you to provide the disclaimer that lactic acid fermentation requires specific cellular conditions. Edit2: It appears to me that lactate is actually a preferred fuel source in the heart and brain as both readily utilize lactate dehydrogenase to convert lactate to pyruvate for aerobic use in the citric acid cycle. In fact it's theorized that lactic acid in the brain is one of the benefits of vigorous exercise. However, this is the physiology of normal levels of lactate generated by skeletal muscle, and not necessarily completely applicable to large levels of lactate accumulation generated by tissues in constant low level hypoxic conditions. I'm still searching though for the cause of the hypoxic conditions. It may just be that there's insufficient mitochondria to clear otherwise normal levels of lactate.

Dr. Schmidt I have just started watching your videos with much interest. But I am even more interested now that I've learned that you went through a similar experience as I have. About a year ago, after a few years of dealing with severe stress, I experienced many of the symptoms you've described, the tight throat, chest, neck muscles, migraine, 24/7 dizziness etc... For months and months I searched for answers, general practitioners said I was healthy and it must be depression and were quick to offer pharmasuticles. I declined and continued a search for a holistic remedy. My symptoms have decreased significantly and life is livable but I had recently been taking magnesium to keep the dizzy, adrenaline feeling at bay. I recently did stop taking it so regularly as I want to find a better solution and more natural one, as the magnesium supplement is sinthetic. I'm very grateful to have learned about lactic acidosis from your videos. I apologise for the long comment, my question is do you think taking Cataplex G and B together would be beneficial? I bought Cataplex G and tried it for the first time today (sorry I did not order through you). Thank you for your time and for the amazing info you are putting out there.

Wow Dr Darren Schmidt. You sir, have completely blown my mind. Wow. This explains everything. Thank you for explaining all of this in such great detail! Now how do I go about fixing this. I take a regular b complex everyday. I eat a ketogenic diet on mosy days. I dont touch sugar or refined carbs and eat a very small amount of potatoes once a week, and black beans a few times a week, which cycles me out of ketosis. Then I get back into it for the next 24 -48 hours usually. I also love berries, blueberries and cranberries. Do I need to cut out the berries? I started eating fish recently, and usually eat a good amount of grass fed beef, some pastured bacon, and I eat 2 whole eggs just about everyday for breakfast, and I fast once or twice per week in the morning until I am really hungry which is usually not until after 2pm or later most of the time. I recently quit dairy entirely which forced me to eat a higher amount of meat in order to get enough calories. I also just quit caffeine entirely hoping that would help me. I know it depletes b vitamins and its a diuretic to it depletes potassium and magnesium. I just recently started taking potassium and noticed I felt a little better but Im still in a state of acidosis. I have acidic urine, poor circulation and tightness in those areas you mention. I also have hashimotos and adrenals and nervous system is burnt out. I was eating goose and pork liver pate but quit eating it because it contained sugar. I instinctively crave organ meat, but have a life that makes any cooking a challenge. I never liked the taste of beef liver anyways. Is there some suggestions or products that I can buy to get more liver and all these 24 b vitamins in my diet? I know epic meat bars makes a liver bites, and im going to try them out. I avoided them for awhile because they contain pepper and pepper was giving me bad ibs. But ive completely fixed my digestion on the diet im on so im gonna try them as Ive been eating pepper for a few.months now with no problems. Thanks for all your videos!

I would like to ask you : in menopause, as the endocrine system starts reducing hormonal levels, many females get symptoms such as : heart palpitations, hot flashes, negative thinking, depressing, joint pain and joint deterioration, muscle waste increase body fat, and more. Would these symptoms also could be related to Lactic acidosis ( L A) ? Since the protective factor of a god health is to have hormonal balance also, as the hormones decline could this be a reason for the build up of L A , and if yes, what do you recommend ? I would like to hear your thoughts on this , if you could . Many thanks in advance. M

So the cataplex and few other supplements plus a keto diet will reverse the acidosis? How long will it take and how long is safe on Leto? 3 months? Do you have a diet protocol?

I just ordered some of your good fat bars. The pumpkin spice, and banana nut bread. I’m looking forward to trying them. I got them for my wife. I do the cooking so I’m slowly trying to turn her keto “lol” I’ve moved on to mostly carnivorous myself👍🏾

My father drank ACV & water before bed last night and had a-fib symptoms right after. I suspect this means he has a yeast / mold issue on top of the lactic acidosis. (It's highly likely. He has a true sugar addiction and has eaten peanuts all of his life.) I don't know which to address first or how -- and poor dad, 78 and recovering from an MI 4 weeks ago. Dr. Schmidt, how I wish you were in practice in NY state!

Hello doctor Darren. High fat diet is great - but please advise - what about people whose gall bladder is removed. Have heard that supplementing with Ox bile is helpful .

Fellow Australians (or anyone that can help): Hi there. I'm on a low income. Very expensive to get Standard Process supplements shipped from the US (Dr Mercola products are the same). Has anyone discovered accessible alternatives (B Vits especially) here in the land of Oz. Much thanks. And thank you, Dr Darren. Really Appreciate your videos.

Linda C ..... try Moringa, turmeric, Curcumin, Bosweilla, frankincense, .... mostly vitamins, essential oils. Try to buy one a month. Build up a stash of good vitamins. Fast one or two meals a week and put that money toward your vitamins etc...

Is there supplements at the grocery store to help counter and repair damage from years of eating junk food? I have been feeling alot older here lately and having muscular pains and pains throughout my body. I thought I would at least try a multivitamin and see if it would help. Do you have any recommendations for what multivitamins to take?

Hello Dr. Darren. I'm soon to be a new patient of your clinic, and I can't wait to start your protocol. I came across this video because of someone posting it on Dr. Sircus' website, and I was immediately hooked. That's why I had to look you up and was so excited to know you saw patients and I could be seen by one of your associates. I wanted to ask you if you have read the book "Drop Acid" by Dr. David Perlmutter. It sounds a lot like your perspective on lactic acid, but he mentions uric acid as the main culprit. What are your thoughts on lactic acid vs. uric acid? Are they about the same, they come about through the same mechanisms. And what lowers one, will lower the other too?

The lactic acid cycle is the most common mechanism of disease and death. The uric acid cycle is how your body makes urine. Fix lactic acidosis to survive longer.

Thanks Darren some good analysis ... Seeds - Good, but "Wheat Seeds", et al ... have been turned into "Carb Bombs" (80%) without regard to loss of nutrition ... so a real issue ... and since there is No Known carbohydrate deficiency disease ... no real reason to eat carbs .. 70 Going On 100 … the Centenarian Diet … maybe 70 Going On 128 … the Hayflick Limit
