What a beautifully crafted eerie journal! Those scratches had me afraid before you even opened it. Each turn of the pages made me tense up. The horned images are the most terrifying to me. Whew! What a wonderful creepy walk through the woods and so happy to be safely out! LOL.
Do you decorate your pages while they are loose before you bind them, or do you bind and then decorate after the book is all put together? Your work is beautiful and you are very creative. I also love your eye for mixing different types of paper where there is a “flow” to the mix.
@@LiliMoonStudio I’ve made several journals over the last few years just to try it out. I’ve had people beg for them and pay great money but I’m so critical of my own work that I didn’t feel like they were organized enough. I felt like they were more spastic and haphazard in the layouts and ephemera. I’m about to make a baby book for my niece and I think I’m going to try out your “layered” technique. It gives the pages so much more character. If it turns out good enough to use I’ll have to send you a few photos. LOL
