I never knew before today that I needed a video of a guy wearing a plague doctor suit shooting Klansmen. It's so beautiful.

'A man is a wolf to another man' that's what Homo homini lupus comes down to. Basically meaning that we are brutal to one another. Or can be.

We sure are brutal... But in actuality, the saying should be "One man is a hare to another man's wolf".

During the filming of the original Planet of the Apes the makeup effects people noticed something. The cast of extras that wore the masks of the three distinct simian races; the intellectual chimpanzees, the militant apes and the religeous law giver orangutans, began grouping with their own simian race during the breaks. No matter the race of the actor underneath the prosthetics they would only eat with their own simian kind. The pattern developed over time during filming. Men can be whatever costume or mask he wears to other men.

I'm imagining him trying to fit the plague doctor mask into the diving suit, sighing discontentedly, accordion-ing the nose as he closes the face door(?).

It's a shame characters don't have different reactions to you based on what you're wearing. I'd love to hear the NPCs reactions to the plague doctor outfit.

I'm actually on this exact same Case (2nd Playthrough) when this video pop-up. Also, I should have mentioned this a while back, but for why the clothes always flap around every time you start a conversation is pretty simple. When you enter a conversation bit, the game is a program to have the characters stop their current position and animation and move into the position and animation for the conversation bit in a split second. Of course, doing this effect the clothing physics, because the clothes have been a program to react to the character's movement and they're reacting to that split second movement.

Thanks, Alex! That question popped into my head every time I saw the clothes flap around. 😊

@@bensmith5288 jfc chill tf man. This literally is about Klan. So yeah, him/her thinking it was funny AND him/her being black are literally both very related to the subject. Why you so mad, bro? Hmmmm.
@MuricaTurkey
@MuricaTurkey 3 года назад
It was funny, though not necessarily true. Klan often have no problem maiming or even killing their own family, much less any old white person, if they do anything the Klan doesn't like. Unfortunately I know that from personal family experience. This is a pretty disturbing story so if anyone reading this doesn't want to hear it, I dont blame them. Stop now... Ok, here's the story for anyone wanting to know: My 2nd great grandfather was Klan, and he had his Klan psychos beat and sexually assault his wife because she was a singer and would sing in any places she could, including bars/clubs that were owned by Black people. When they were done, they literally dumped her, violated and bloodied on the town line and told her to never come back or they'd finish what they started. She was so terrified she never saw her kids again for 30 years. Never even a letter or call until they were well into adulthood. So when white people say they don't find Klan scary personally, I don't understand that. Though it was funny the way Cju said it.

Just started watching new video, so you may mention it later...But it that it is not about black and white 2:48 KKK here is only after Innsmouthers. Kinda think about if it wasn't for the Elder Gods, Oakmont would be a nice town to live in in the 1920s. Women can be scholars, reporters and ruthless cult leaders, local KKK unit stopped chasing black people and switched on to Innsmouthers instead (and they are not that innocent, if you happen to find the quest Historical Heritage, check the Fish Market)

Hm. Maybe I should reinstall this game and give it a go because ending some Klan bastards in a video game sounds pretty effing cathartic. (I started playing this a long time ago but life got in the way and I got distracted. So never got this far). And don't be so sure they wouldn't have shot you if you had your mask off. The idea that Klan don't hurt white people is very untrue. Unfortunately I know from personal family experience. Klan often have no problem maiming or even killing their own family, much less any old white person, if they do anything the Klan doesn't like. "But that was generations ago", is something I'm sure some would say. Yes. And the fact that he ripped his kids' mom from them when they were 4, 2, and 9 months old, meant that they had serious psychological trauma. Not to mention what they might have witnessed or perhaps endured themselves. My great grandmother had no idea how to be a mother, and had no idea how to have a healthy romantic relationship. And so her daughter didn't either. All the way down to my dad. Each generation got a little better, and my dad is great is some ways, but he definitely has trauma from the trauma his mother, and her mother experienced. It was passed on through neglect and neuroses they both had. And it can all be traced back to what that monster did in 1929. So when white people say they don't find Klan scary personally, I don't understand that. I mean, I can understand objectively how one would think that. But my fear and hatred of the Klan is so deep I don't know what that's like, personally. I think it's a mistake to think Klan isn't a problem for white people (beyond them just being something we find offensive). They are a real threat to any good, decent people, period.
