Hello! I'm not animating the entirety of The Wrong Doctors. I turned this scene into a minisode, just so The Doctor can go off an travel alone, then meet Mel later. The Wrong Doctors is a great story, but isn't an introducing Mel story, and then they go off. If it was, I'd think about animating it.
Yeah, I was a bit annoyed that this wasn't the story where Mel goes off travelling with the Doctor. The Wrong Doctors is still a great story, 100% agree. But it would be great to finally fill in that gap of how Mel's travels with the Doctor began. And after watching the Giggle with Mel returning and hints about her past, I want to see that gap filled more than ever! Nice Minisode by the way :)
This was great. But why not show Evelyn Smythe a little love next time? That's where Colin's best begins... and she is fully responsible for humanizing and redeeming him. This style would make a decent musical too:)
@jeremythomaswebb1485 yeah honestly it's weird that there isn't a story that tells the story of how the Doctor and Mel first met, that gap really should be filled!
It's a brilliant story. Listening to it is a true pleasure, you can tell when Colin is playing the younger or the older version of his Doctor as soon as he starts talking. Playing two different characters is difficult, but playing two versions of the same character, and in audio alone, is only for great actors.
I love how they write the Doctor after the events of the Trial. The novel 'Time Of Your Life' basically picks up after this story (or is in the same ballpark) and he starts by still shouting to the sky. XD
Great animation mate. I’d love for Mrs Flood to be Mel’s mum. They both love their exercise. I haven’t heard this audio before. Thanks for animating it. I’m all for anything Doctor Who. 👍

I need to see the blue costume!!! Will it be the dual shade version or the full patchwork coat of many blues! Or that once teal costume from the quin dilemma.
Wonderful! I know you don’t want to do the whole story, but I think it would be interesting to see a segment of the story of the “blue coat” Sixie arguing with his earlier self.
Brilliant animation. Small suggestions: in the audio, Mel is on the left in stereo, but you animated her on the right. Maybe in future you can listen out for the stereo placement of the characters.
This one. The artist for Out of Time was too busy. I can’t afford to get art done anymore anyway, so I’m doing it myself. These are for me, and I like my characters! I think they’re cute
@kylelacey8036 The Sixth Doctor met a future Mel in The Ultimate Foe. He drops her back in Pease Pottage in The Wrong Doctors audio drama so that she can be picked up by his future self
