Hi @faderblock, thanks for the sub. I wouldn't call myself fast, but the descending series I just finished has helped me get back into it, hopefully you can get something out of it as well.

We have a nice switchback road with 300m ascent/descent nearby, wide road smooth surface good visibility, but for some reason I feel like my descending speed in the corners there is not as fast as it might be. Last time I rode there the tarmac looked quite domu shiny, but I think it was dry. I'm wondering if it isn't too polished by tires already and I have no idea how much centrifugal force could my tires produce. Also it's a gravel bike with road wheels and I recently started to consciously put more weight to the front wheel for more grip when turning, but not sure if that's correct.
