Thanks boys for the invite to the shed was really great to meet up, and get the S-30 Fairlady out of the Bat Cave, Meet some great people with top level mods and quality builds.
Is there a Skid Factory Patreon? If not, Woody can you start one? I (and I am sure many others) would be happy to donate money automatically per video. Keep up the great work! Happy Christmas!
I'm glad Al mentioned about NOT skipping the ads....I've wondered if that affects the monetization....# NO SKIPS for SKID FACTORY> Merry Christmas guys.
No doubt. I hate commercials on TV but I always let the ones on RU-vid play. It benefits the person directly that is taking the time to entertain me. 30 seconds of my time (or more in some cases) is a small price to pay for solid content.
I forgot I had ad blocker on and turned it the hell off when he said that; thankfully I bought some merch, but it still made me regret not watching them before.
@@-paulmp RU-vid Red actually pays a content creator a higher rate per view than a normal advert, see the youtube FAQ about youtube red for exactly how that works @dylan RU-vids average advertiser payout per 1,000 "impressions" (monetized views) is slightly under $10. So if you run adblock and buy a merch item or donate just two dollar thats about same as watching a years worth of skid factory videos with ads turned on. Of course they aren't mutually exclusive, and if you sub to a lot of channels youtube red may be the cheapest option to both avoid ads and increase content creator income.
Guys, you should do a skid factory calendar, those were some sweet cars that visited. 2020 idea? Have a no worries Christmas, hopefully you will get to feature one of these "Ute's" you Ozzie's are mad for.
Love your work fella's, You haven't annoyed me yet either! Id love to see a Turbo Red block Volvo build or a Rangie Classic build if for nothing else but the epic pisstaking and Al's facials..... Have an Awesome Christmas and New Years gents.

4:40 Back in 1979, I bought a 1964 Sky Blue Datsun Bluebird that had, in another life, been a race car. Lowered, tight suspension and a 4-pack of carbines, one for each cylinder, and came free with copious fuel leaks from all the lines. Awesome little car but someone used it in a robbery when they borrowed it one day. Last I ever saw of it.
Favorite Al answer, "That's just stupid." I want a t-shirt. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Thank you for the fun ride. Cheers from California.
a monster of a car, awesome it was finished on christmas! also, the rest of the content including the cars was amazing. LOOOVED IT! this gives me motivation to work on my '86 Supra and '86 and '84 Alto's
I'm all for doing another Gazelle and TA22 Celica in the show. Great cars! I tell you what, your buddies have a heap of sweet cars. Some feature car videos on those would be cool too. Merry Christmas and New Year boys, keep up the great work
Great little meet up. Cool to see the variety. Al I dont think I am the only one, but super appreciate when you talk about a particular engines traits. Be it its strength, weaknesses, quarks etc. Dont be afraid to share it more often!
Thank you for all your effort in bringing us the great builds, trips ,entertainment and fully sic Aussie humour .Merry Christmas to all , be safe From South coast NSW
Ahhh that first car. Sun bleached orange, was probably red at some point, '77 Pontiac Grand Prix. Round abouts 30' long, 9' wide. Could lay down and stretch out in either the back or front, no bucket seats. Not sure if it had slicks, or just bald, great fun when dry. Did a full on 540 in the rain once, car stalled looking at oncoming traffic. The final death blow was the drive shaft snapping off at speed. I could have been in shock, damn that was loud, but I swear the whole rear end lifted off the ground. Called the wrecker after that. RIP.
I've met old mate with the fj20 datto a while back at downshift. Cool bloke, wired the microtech in himself and gave me some pointers when it comes to wiring an ecu in myself. Merry Christmas fellas & happy New Year. But more importantly, whats under the cover?
