As soon as the main character stole 4 sales from Jamie I lost all sympathy for the main character. Just like his ancestor stole the land from his neighbor he basically brought upon his own demise.

The moment he betrayed Jaimie at 27:48, I was like. Yup you're done. You're so DONE. I think Jaimie is the Skullcut Man and you just... urrrghhhh. You might actually get what's coming to you, man, messing with the wrong person. (._.)

I got a suspicious idea that those 4 cars are gonna cost him alot....

After what he did to Jamie I kind of want him to be the next victim in the story

You're telling me that your town has a legend about a skull cut man. And in this same town there is an old old family by the name of cold cut. And no one thought that they could be possibly linked in any way

Poor Jamie. The elation he floated on all afternoon and how crushing the betrayal . Felt that stronger that when wife/baby disappeared (because I already knew that was coming). Figured there would be a past connection (Culcut => Skullcut), didn't expect narrator to double-down on the karma.

I kinda knew this was coming as soon as the junior salesman was named.

A petticoat wouldn't normally be visible when you're walking around outside, especially in cold weather. It's worn under your skirt.

What an exceptional story told by THE BEST NARRATOR!! I can’t understand or even fathom how someone could ever OPENLY STEAL such an excellent deal from another person let alone a fellow colleague! PLUS, Jerry KNEW that Jamie Kullcut needed a few good sales ASAP if he wanted to move up from being a junior associate which he had been for a VERY LONG TIME but stayed with the company anyway. Then Jamie Kullcut sold FOUR brand new midsized SUV’s at once which were all paid for with CASH that day! The total sale would be around $250K! Jerry had been feeling down due to his lack of any sales, so when Hank (the dealership’s owner) saw there had been four cash sales of four midsized SUV’s on Jerry’s desk, he "assumed" they were all Jerry’s sales. When Hank started loudly congratulating Jerry on the four sales in front of the whole dealership, that’s when Jerry should have said, "Well, actually Hank, Jerry is the superstar who sold all four of those Santa Fe’s today, and for cash!" Then, with a big smile on my face, I would give a big pat on Jamie’s back! Basically, that’s when Jerry should have admitted that he was NOT involved with the sales IN ANY WAY! Jerry is obviously a narcissist and a sociopath! WHO could EVER treat a coworker let alone another human being like that?! Stealing Jamie Kullcut’s deal, in front of everyone else who worked there, surely made Jerry some enemies and he also lost ALL TRUST among everyone else who worked there! Everyone knew that Jerry was a family friend of Hank (the owner of the dealership). Jerry definitely NEEDED something bad to happen to him but losing his wife and BABY?!?! He DID NOT deserve that! Actually, his wife and baby girl and their loved ones ABSOLUTELY DID NOT DESERVE THAT! It looks to me like all of the men in that family, for many generations, were really deviant a-holes! You know, a coat and a petticoat are two very different articles of clothing.

Wait, what?!? I just automatically visualize whatever the story is describing but I keep going back to the first minute or two when it says "she was wearing a red petty coat with furr around the neck". Well, petty coats are something you'd wear UNDER your clothes and they're usually a skirt from the waist down, they wouldn't be worn on the outside of clothing and most certainly wouldn't have a fur collar on them. hmmm....I wish people would do some research before writing a story instead of just using a word they've heard before and throwing it in. Now I can't get the visual of my Grandma's petty coat out of my head. (By the way, wikipedia states as a description for the term petty coat): ' A petticoat or underskirt is an article of clothing, a type of undergarment worn under a skirt or a dress....

I think the author is confused about what a petticoat is. It’s a fluffy skirt that goes under your actual skirt, not a jacket.

This is fantastic and I LOVE it but I really feel the need to mention here that a petticoat is NOT a jacket. It is a sometimes floofy skirt that goes underneath the "real" skirt or dress bottom to either add modesty or fluff it up a bit. It's often worn under old fashioned dresses, wedding dresses, or alternative style dresses or skirts :)

Part 32 of thanking the lighthouse horror for his constant uploads I had to read the title 3 times to get it right

Moral of the story is “Don’t be a shitty person”. Also, don’t be bitter and curse people!

The narration was amazing, but the story had a few annoying parts. First of all, a petticoat is not a jacket. It's the frilly underskirt for a dress with a wide skirt, like those worn in the 50s or wedding dresses. It completely threw me off when dude started talking about it like it's a jacket. If there is a jacket that for some reason has the same name as an undergarment, please educate me. Secondly, okay, dude understood that he needs to do justice to break the curse. But he doesn't even try to go back and tell his superiors, that it wasn't his lazy ass who sold the four cars to at least try and mitigate the damage he's done? Nah, he just wants to tell his sister like "That's your problem now." That makes him seem like an even more unlikable, egotistical protagonist.

He's a punk thief like his Ancestor! But he's wife and baby did not deserve this. KARMA!! Wonderfully narrated with the right tone of music!👌🙏
