Looks like the lack of sleep with my baby caught up to me and I totally missed the stats with the Quick Attack (Left Trigger) so here they are: Damage: 150 Pre-Hit Delay: 250ms 2 Hit Speed: 517ms Range: 2.2m Max Hit Angle: 35 Degrees (All of these stats are identical to the Gutter Knife and Karambit)
the drawback of the 650ms time to hit after pressing the button is genius balancing, could have been the drawback for commando pro knifing back in MW2 2009
I honestly don’t see how people think it’s unbalanced the heavy attack takes forever it’s best used if your waiting for someone to come around a corner the lock on and lunge is to funny but trying to run and gun with the sledge hammer using the quick attack makes it just as affective as the soul render quick attack so it seem balanced to me
Another thing to note is that the left trigger/ads button preforms a faster attack. I haven’t tried it for myself but Im guessing the quicker attack has way less range
TKO didn't realize that the "heavy" melee has a huge lunge and kept trying to get close to enemies before hitting them too but at least he noticed both melee attacks
So that’s why I got melee’d by people from a mile away in small map playlists.. I thought I was going crazy, why are people going so heavy with a melee yk?
The animation on this is so bad that I have trouble taking anything else about this weapon into consideration. I get the motion they were going for, but they really botched it. Could be the most OP weapon ever and I wouldn't be touching it.
Jesus Christ, why do we need so many melee weapons? They all have exactly the same purpose. I don't see any difference in their playstyle. It's just more annoying to grinding camos.
I haven't gotten to use it yet, but the sledgehammer definitely does sound very unique. I wish we got more melee weapons like this, it kinda sucks when they have filler weapon content and then don't make it unique at all
First off the hammer is absolute broken in the 8bit mode. I didn't see Ace talk about it directly but with the alt swipe its not just a click and you have a delay before swinging, you can hold that down and prepare for an enemy or jump at them holding it (jump at them inside 5.3 meters and its gg if you had it held its broken). Try it out in that game mode tho, jump off favela onto someone holding that button you will lock on its funny af to see. Pair it with compression plate and you can literally jump spam the whole game locking on to people multiple in a row cause of the healing
This game is unplayable, saw a you tuber saying to alter a setting and uninstall bits of the game you don’t use, but it’s made no difference. For me this game is unplayable at the moment, so annoying.
People who think that a sledgehammer is heavy and hard to run with have never held a sledgehammer before in their entire life. All of the weight is in the head, so as long as you're holding underneath the head like the hilt of a sword, you should be able to run pretty fast with a sledgehammer
I'm loving this thing lol do a lil bob and weave, jump->slide->uppercut with the Med Box active and you feel invincible 😂 unless they have fancy footwork too or are a crackshot. Side note i think a sledge juggernaut mode would be ridiculously fun
Did the 5 camo grind for this thing earlier today. I'll never use it again. Thank God I'm not too concerned with K/D ratio. It takes commitment running around only using this thing camo grinding, UGH!

With the hit delay, it cant b considered the best melee... I could see it Excel in poor lobbies where being a bit at range qont matter as much, but any mid to high level lobby i assume u have to b better off with just about any other melee... I do think its the coolest one tho... Hands down... Yeeting cats with a sledgehammer... Nothing more American than that...
Does the sledgehammer's alternate fire/attack mode have the same speed and damage as the primary attack mode? Or is it different like the Soulrender sword that has a primary attack mode with longer mini-finishing move animation vs. the faster secondary attack mode.
I did not know that the RT attack has such a range, I thought it was just a troll attack that made players go flying, was using the LT attack pretty much exclusively to get the camos
So wait they nerfed the lunge range of all melee weapons prior including the one that’s supposed to have the best lunge range (the pickaxe) for balance then add in a melee weapon that completely throws near all the other melee stats out the water entirely ffs man
Hey guys i need a bit of help. Since lauch of s4 reloaded, my game has been stuttering non stop. Both mp and zombies is unplayable. Ive checked home internet amd checked console (xbox one) and there no issues. No high ping or anything. I havent been able to complete any challenges this week so far. Im at my wits end and the end of my patience.
@@droodoe4440 any ideas on how to fix. Because I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because then it may not have installed packs or multilayer or zombies correctly
Ace you completely forgot that you have a secondary swing option using the ADS button/L2/LT. This is much faster but has far less lunge, and still a OHKO.
Hello, would you consider making a remake of the video about the weapons that can kill killstreaks the fastest? I believe the incendiary rounds were nerfed and no longer deal as much damage as before. It would be helpful to know if there are any new methods to counter killstreaks.
Cod needs to update and fix the fcking stats. it shows the same stats as the karambit and gladiator, yet clearly it doesnt. also anyone ever noticed the same thing with the guns even? and that 3 arrows of flinch sometimes changes less percent than a 2 arrows of flinch? or that 2 attachments could both have 2 arrows of the same thing and both are different percentages of change?
You completely overlooked the secondary/alternate swing to the hammer. It can be fired off more quickly than the primary swing.. I'm really surprised you missed this.
@@URBONEDtbf none of the melee weapons in this game are that good, and so comparing it to commando while the sledgehammer is only decent for a melee weapon will make it seem like ur saying it's op

I can smell it already this video will be taken down as soon as he realises there is secondary melee here, also you can prime the "heavy" melee by holding the button and then just thunk the enemy as soon as you see them around the corner In Zombies at the FASTER melee hit does way more damage than the huge lunge melee like over 2.5x also its mindblowing how both Ace AND TKO who SPECIALIZES in melee STILL haven't learned to experiment. Literally the first thing I do when new melee pops up is test both mouse buttons and the default melee promt on MnK (V) and see what they do, ALWAYS
