I've been saying you have enough content between the FF and the main channel to feed two channels. I still think you need to be willing to let an editor(s) take that load off of you, and they can still edit it in your style since that's what you're paying them for.
You’re 100% right. The fact that he’s so transparent and lets the audience in on the business and behind the scenes stuff, it makes me feel like we’re in on the ride with them. Like we’re all working toward something together rather than being like parasitic. I think that’s why when people come to the FF for events he can have thousands of people there chowin down on the Hell Yeah Brother Special and when they leave it’s SPOTLESS. Because they feel like it belongs to them too, and/or like your friend invited you to their home or something. You don’t take advantage of your friends. And the way cleeter goes about things, many of us feel like we’re peers, rather than he’s the leader and we’re just the pay-pigs. That wasn’t worded very well, but I hope you got the gist of what I mean.

This is why I watch this channel. Is awesome to begin with. But Cletus has no bs, he realized the mistake and didn’t try to weasel out of it. Just brought it to light with a smile and you can see the joy of just knowing the giveaway will bring joy to someone else

always up front about everything you do that involves the people who support you. even the numbers on the track renovations etc. you dont have to and no one would know, but it could be spun a different way if it ever comes out, it is the internet, so always good to see up front honesty

Wow. That is super generous of you. So awesome to see others with integrity. I saw that 10.6 and was like, this could start someone else’s race channel. Hopefully the winner does that and reinvests that 10K with you guys in some way through Motion or “buying” time on your dyno or something that can help offset the cash outlay. At least, that’s what I would do. :)

Honestly, I'd take the cash. I've got a unfinished project truck I WANT to finish, but don't have the time so I have to pay someone. That being said, the Marauder would be best to go to someone else really wishing for a project car that's completed. Oh well, one can dream.
I'd probably take the cash too if he'd give Sam the car. Be way cooler to see Sam running it on the channel then me pulling the drivetrain for my projects. It'd also be my 4th vehicle not including the wife's. Way too many when you live in PA and only have 6 months of nice weather.
@@akaknowlesy10 true, but as the person running the giveaway you normally set the cash high enough to cover that. $10k cash out of a $22k total prize would cover taxes for almost anyone. Someone who's got a high paying job in CA or NY might still have to pay more. Someone in the top tax brackets should be able to afford a few thousand though.
@@shanesimpson4124 yup, in the USA, when you win a prize, the IRS considers the value of that prize to be income, which you then have to pay income tax on. There have been a ton of game show contestants that won really cool big prizes, but the prize didn't come with any cash bonus on top of it. So the winning contestant had to pay the taxes out of their own pocket. Some people couldn't afford the tax bill that came with winning a prize, it's really crappy. So the good news with winning cash on top of a prize is that you can use the cash to pay the tax bill, so hopefully you won't have to come out of pocket to keep the IRS from sending men with guns to kill your dog and imprison you for the rest of your life.
@@TheCorruptedHuman I wouldn’t imagine refunding such a large amount of orders and scrapping/restarting the giveaway is worth the 10k, a lot less hassle to just let it go forward and move on
I'd take the cash. Too many cops and schools around me, no good roads to rip around, no garage. Gas prices. Inflation. I'm also assuming you have to go down to FL and get it, and I think they want the person to be in a video. I wouldn't expect them to cover my expenses. That's a 36-hour round trip for me, and I'd need a truck and trailer.
To be fair, that 10k cash will vanish very quickly with taxes on both the cash itself and the car. Still very nice regardless, one will end up with a couple grand and that marauder. I'd take that over straight cash any day.
I would have taken the Marauder 100% without the cash and I have to ship it all the way to Montana when I win it. Or epic road trip. Now that $10k can pay for that and the taxes. Thanks brother!

Actually, he may not have the right. Once a sweepstakes is made public, there are certain rules that need to be followed. In general, changing rules after people have spent money to enter is a big no Bueno, but ESPECIALLY if that makes winning less favorable.

Well to some degree your wife is right, right now it's a choice between 25k in cash or a 22k car plus 10k in cash, which seems like a no brainer, but after you mess around with the boost and stick a piston through the side of the engine it's a 2k car plus a repair bill.. So 25k in cash is the safe bit.. I'd still have the car anyway if I win.
@@strandvaskeren just sell the Marauder the minute you get it. I think the fame that car has now will actually bring $25k on Doug Demaros cars and bids. Don't even move it out of Florida. Put a stock 4.6 back in it and it still brings 9k
3rd option for the prize should be forfeit the $10ktheyd get on top of the car , and in trade offer them something life lifetime entry to the facility , or paid flights/hotel to a certain # of events , or entry and a car to a LeMullets etc. .
