Am I the only one who sees a PMC or Scav run right down the hill through the center of Drewski's line of view at 38:12 down while covering Sean looting? I thought they were going to get ambushed. Edit: That is totally the guy who looted Drewski's other kill!
For the early fight, I'd suggest changing your keybinds so the heavy bleed heal (your Calok) and your "normal" heal (your Salewa) are on the same button, but the heavy bleed triggers on press and the "normal" heal triggers on release. So if you have any sort of damage, you just press that one button, and it'll prioritize the heavy bleeds over light bleeds and HP heals.
Except if you have to heal your head or thorax while you have heavy bleeds to save it from blacking out. Just better to look at your status effects and press the correct key.
@@rcclab5411 I haven't played this wipe, so I'm not familiar with that new functionality, but I'm 100% certain there's a way to configure your keybind to make that situation work.
@@reaper314 uh maybe super early wipe, but as soon as people start using Salewas, IFAKs, AFAKs, etc. you won't need a standalone light bleed healer like bandages
@@redwall1521 sure, you're right you dont need to, but i myself always run a specific light bleed healer, i dont bind it that way mind you, just 456 heals heavys lights my own reasonings for it are: its a different sound cue, its faster, and saves my actual medkit HP(a light bleed from a salewa is more than 10% of its total). for anything multi-bleed i have perfotoran up my butt
Yes Drew, crows exist in winter. Many migrate, some do not, depending on where they're from and the food sources available. Top quality video as always. Great ears and comms between you two.
Also 38:13 is where your man first appears whom I suspect looted your longe-range kill on the hill. It didn't appear in the video that you noticed him before going into the menu.
@@bardum.4458 shit dude from what i've seen of his stuff, he only shows the utmost respect. he'll let out a chuckle sometimes but i've never seen anything as disrespectful
Misremembering is real for sure. My buddy and I died and I swore there was 2 players but when I watched it back I realized there was only 1 and they didn’t look the way I was sure they did right after. Nice video and thank you for all the content/entertainment.
Man, these longer vids like your older tarkov content is pure gold. I’m loving all the long format stuff on this channel, and am so glad drewski has leaned into it over the past year or so. Also, I really would love to play more tarkov but it’s such a slog as a newbie with little map knowledge. Playing alone can be so frustrating when trying to learn this game. If it weren’t for this cursed debilitating anxiety (lol sad but true) I would really like to squad up with more experienced players so I can just get my bearings and start enjoying this incredible game. Keep up the killer content. This channel has been my go to for a very long time when the mental health episodes kick in. I think it’s just the very chill and goofy nature of these vids without being annoying and fake. Drewski has remained loyal to the core of his content, and it always just comes off as genuine. Thanks for helping me find positive coping mechanisms that have helped me work on not hyper fixating on the mess in my brain sometimes lol. Cheers
Good to be early for a brand new video from our boy Drewski and friends. These changes are honestly really cool to see in Tarkov awesome how its still going strong and will continue!
Great video as always Drew! The new visual changes like the falling snow pair very well with your cinematic editing style. Also really glad to see you collaborating with my boy Cal! He has a wealth of Tarkov knowledge that when paired with your tactical experience make y'all an unstoppable force! His guides cut through the BS and taught me this game when I picked it up in 2015 and continue to do so on into the current wipe. Highly recommend anyone reading this to check his guides out!
The RFB is my go-to in BF4 for the same reasons you illuminate. I use it on every class. It's definitely a workhorse, and viable in almost any situation. ACOG and canted irons and you're golden.
The atmosphere in Tarkov is so good and I feel sometimes it goes unappreciated. The night snowy sky is unreal and something I don't notice in the heat of gameplay. Drewski does an awesome job of capturing Tarkov's best highlights
watching you and sean makes it alot easier to kind of learn the ropes of tactical movement tbh just from the whole point you mentioned about that silent code, and really calmly planning out your moves. ngl i feel like watching yall is actually gonna make people better at fps games lol
They cost about 20k with the gas analyzer barter. I notice running it in factory is good just because of how damn loud the gun is, it kinda shakes people up and makes them panic
glad to see you getting back into it man you’re the one who made me want to play this game years ago before i even had a pc now i’ve degend the game and could consider myself a very good player remember watching you run interchange 4-5 years ago or so
Tarkov is such a special game. No other video game out there can make my heart feel like it’s physically pumping out of my chest like this game does. Having a kit full of good loot, a task completed I need to extract with, then hearing footsteps nearby knowing I’m about to get into a firefight. It’s truly unique.
I disagree, PUBG back in its alpha and beta days and somewhat into 2018, that was an adrenaline hit every late game.haven’t experienced that since tarkov and I couldn’t be happier to enjoy it
You've got Sensory Super Powers. I'm convinced. Also idk why I never thought to use my hunting experience and knowledge in a game. Lol. Spot and stalk PMC in Tarkov, Catch Clean Cook in DayZ... The possibilities are exciting.
god the sound design in this game is so incredible... from the grenades to the rifle firing sounds to that crack of bullets passing by.. I don't think any other game I have ever seen sounds this perfect.
Something I love about all of your Tarkov videos is that you somehow end up solving a mystery or be able to track down who killed who/what just had happened that you where hearing while moving thou the map.
I love it when you post some longer videos like this. I also have to say you are one of my favorite people to watch playing this game. Please keep posting long videos playing Tarkov.
Love your Tarkov videos where you look back at an encounter or two and talk about what worked and what went wrong. Super helpful for someone not nearly as experienced.
Drewski.. just wanted to say I love your content and as a Marine Vet, it’s good to see the tactics really translate. Well done on the leap frogging. Stay frosty. Semper Fi.
Was honestly super cool seeing you, ticklemepink, and wendigoon moving in sync through that factory like area. Was like watching a special forces team doing a sweep and clear in a movie.
Have definitely started to enjoy woods more now, it has changed in way were my playstyle is more enforced. Good vid as usual, looking forward for more tarkov content!
Cormac McCarthy fan, huh? Just when I thought I couldn't like you better. ;) Blood Meridian is an amazing piece of literature. I actually wrote a short story called The Hooker and the Hitman using Cormac's style in BM.
I really liked this video even the calm moments of just listening to the wind or seeing you and your buddys going through the rocks or looking out over an area was scratching an ich for me. It may be the snow. But man it was satisfying
You are quite the tactician in EFT. One of the reasons you are one of my favorite channels to watch. I like relating to the IRL experiences you reference, that some gamers don't have, and the gamer nerd stuff people don't understand. I bet playing airsoft with you IRL would be a blast. Keep up the great videos.
i love Tarkov, but i suckkkkk at it lol, i usually play off and on, this wipe ive barely played, havent even done the starting quests yet, but seeing videos like this get me turned up and wanting to dive back in, great video man
1:25 doesn't only apply to the game, I as the shooter can't shoot sub-MOA so when I get my grouping to a 3" target at 100y I am happy and say its accurate enough for me.
I got the Prepare for Escape pack back in 2019 and sadly never played. After watching so many videos of how advanced people have become in the game it just seemed like a feeble attempt to even try. Might try to get a sherpa to help actually get in to the game, you make it look like a really enjoyable experience!
I enjoy watching your longer videos! it's like watching a mini movie length video and just love sitting through it all. also I still have NO IDEA how the heck you got that player in the DARK without NVG's even with the brightness boosted up. Please do more longer content like this. it's far more enjoyable to watch and soooooo much more to take in. keep it up!🤘👍
Your anecdotes about you and Sean's playstyle, SOP, and tendencies hit home over here. Me and a good buddy are the *exact* same way, tarkov, arma, Hunt: Showdown, Same doctrine. Same goofiness xD
My first person shooter skills peaked with counterstrike beta 7, so it's very fun to watch you play the absolute heck out of these slow paced followed by quick burst of action style games. Would have muh butt handed to me in the first 30 seconds though I'm sure.
crossing an opening one by one is called bounding FYI. It allows suppressive fire from the rear of the line to cover the approach. Not trying to be a know it all, just sharing some info. solid teamwork, great video.
around the 30 minute mark what you're referring to is bounding, it's the #1 thing I teach to my buddies for Milsims because it comes in handy so often (especially when used to push onto an objective)
Drewski. For meds you accidentally popped your cheese kit instead of your kolpak. I suggest you make slot 4 and 5 your bleeds slots. Then make slot for activate upon press of desired key and slot 5 activate on release of the same key. This will allow you to bind two items to one key press
I love the Fact that Wendigoon doesnt even know where the Mines and Claymores are at right now. At the Beginning where they said, the next rock down has mines, all that area there is already safe. When Lighthouse came out every1 was trying to draw maps acuurately displaying where mines will go off and where not. Now we actually have ok maps, but most ppl just actually avoid these Rocks :D.
Even if the video is old. RFB has been OP, only negative is the lack of a tactical. Skip the suppressor, the huge advantage of the RFB is that it can basically squeeze around any corner without collision. So perfect for cheeky angles and quick peeks.
Sitting at the pharmacy for over 30 minutes waiting for my name to be called when I come across this banger in my feed. Thank you Drew, you are my savior.
Thats so cool to see how you guys play the game and make the time in the rate so much more valueable than other Trakov players who just rush through and blast everything. This game needs much more detailed movement and care.
I tried EFT, and quickly realized that there was no way in hell, I would ever be good at it, much less, successful at it. My eyes are bad, and my keyboarding skills are awful because of the length of my fingers, and to top it all off, my age. None of these conditions would improve, so I accepted the L, and the lost investment, nonetheless, I love the game and what Nikita has done with it over the course of its development. I truly appreciate people like you who keep returning to this game, and bringing people like me content. The best part of this video was you acknowledging the player bond that comes from joint raids, in-game and IRL that makes the experience of both much more than 'I did this thing, and it was cool.' Seeing that connection in action, is very satisfying both to view and when it happens in my own world, so I appreciate the fact that you spoke about it here. Friends make everything better, and it hits home a bit since I lost a friend not too long ago. At this stage of my life, loss is becoming more commonplace, so enjoy your youth while you can, I did.
Its like watching two forensic investigators spitballing clues while under fire, and getting half of the suppositions wrong. Then getting their man at the last and finding out the Timmy with a pistol was to blame.
I geeked out a little over the Command & Conquer: Red Alert “Trenches” soundtrack in the beginning lol I know, random. Love your vids bro you’re always entertaining and make the games you play look so much fun.
17:33 - this may be probably why I just play woods. I do other maps for tasks only but play woods when not tasking or while scavving. IDK I find it as the map that is the most chill and where I actually can navigate and "feel" where the people are. I know fuck all where people are on Customs or Streets but Woods just feels good. Shoreline is similar in this regard. Also yes, european crows, do not migrate (same as majority of other corvids) and their calls are very prominent in winter here :) However american crows do migrate, so I guess that may be where the confusion came from.
I went into work today at 3 am to keep plowing snow of the lots at work and have been listening to a ton of unsubscribe and just listened to the last wendigoon episode..now I get home and here he is again.
