Here's the link to my Columbus, TX episode I was referring to just in case you missed it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G_nuZXIIf_g.htmlsi=ixoIz_MVuRM0Pd0C
I left this in your Hempstead video in the comments section. I grew up not far from where you record most of your videos, in Lavaca County in the small town of Moulton, Texas. Very few people know about Moulton, but nearly everyone knows about Shiner, the home of the Spoetzel Brewery and Shiner Beer, just eight miles south on Hwy 95! And of course, you need to make sure to visit Flatonia in the month of October, the 25th, 26th, and 27th to be exact, during the annual Czhilispiel Chili cookoff!
If ya ever want to take a real trip and experience something awesome, head out west to Comstock Tx and stop at J & P Bar and Grill and I’ll meet ya there and treat you to the best burger you’ve ever eaten. The Devils Burger. Look up the video done by Texas Bucketlist on J & P’s Comstock has quite a history including a train robbery in the roaring ‘20’s
You're terrible at pronouncing names 🤣 and "RAY NAHS" is pretty well known for great food. Man said Renee 🤣.. I've passed through that town more than 100 times, Wharton is right down the road, they have everything you need food and household wise and theres a Dollar general literally 3-5 mins from you when you said theres no DG. LOL
Oh yeah, I will destroy the pronunciation of some names. Also, Hungerford didn't get the credit for the Dollar General because it's not within their city limits, which stops at Walnut St.
Well when it comes to small towns, all the takes is really one sale for the numbers to show what you're seeing. For example, if a small house with a lot of land sells at $400,000 and that's the only house that's sold in the last 3 months in that town. You'll get the median price of $400,000. Now the numbers about the bachelor degree I totally agree with it. Have no clue about that one. 🤔
The people in Hungerford went to school back went to Powell Point HS, Kendleton in the 50s and 60s. The school is north of Kendleton going toward Powell Point where I lived. Good job bring back times when live was different
The overgrown lots remind me of some of the properties that would come up for county tax sale in and around Falls County and Cherokee County 😅The very definition of "a handyman special" 😄💪
