Twin Motion is a great tool, I use it now with all my projects, very easy to use, and much more stable now than in the previous version. It used to crash all the time, and with new update it stopped thank god, was giving me a heart attack every time it crashed
I’ve imported my model to twin motion but the model is different, all my columns are gone and there are gaps under the windows however this is not the case in the revit model, any suggestions of a fix?
Hello sir am using Twinmotion 2019 but there is no "Import Direct link" there is just Geometry and Landscape. I have already installed the datasmith but am having issues due to the missing of import direct link in Twinmotion, what should l do plz help.

Shalom "Balkan"! thanks for all the great tutorials. They're a life saver for this student (me). I'm modeling a [large] wooden play-house for outside. I want to model actual lumber for the walls (i.e. I want a wall that IS pieces of wood, not just has a photo/effect of wood). I can't figure out how to make the component so that it's like a WALL that can be CUT at an angle (for gable). I can't seem to find any tutorial or explanation. Pretty basic (I think)?? I SAW your Log-Cabin and Siding tutorials. Any ideas? Help help??
Try using "beam system" under structural tab, and then using the "cut geometry" using reference planes to cut each beam. If I understood the question correctly. Not sure but I hope that helps, I think others might have better approach but don't know.
Dont do it man.. Dont do it. Only unless you want a real job in market doing 9-5. Other than that revit is a creativity killer. Learn archicad or vectorworks instead. Much more advanced and easy workflows. Much more sensible and computer friendly than revit. I dont know why people are not letting revit die in peace.
Hello, spacemouse is very useful to navigate in 3D view, but not only. You can customize a radial menu with often used functions. Also useful is the CAD mouse, also with radial menu, zoom to click and middle mouse button. Check out products from "3D connexion."
Twin motion is pretty much useless. Unless you want to create a sketchup model. Twin motion doesn’t recognize dual precision environments, and materials that are supposed to be easy, are completely difficult.
Its a great tool and its free. I would like to venture over to Unreal Engine to develop my skills, but haven't done that yet. What is dual precision environments?
