Carolina Panthers aren't picking on Day 1 of the draft but they still have a lot of options and a lot to think about. They need help all over so they could trade up into the 1st round, stay put and go Best Player Available, or they could trade back to get more picks.

There are some players I would stick at the spot. You have to see who is still available at 33 or 39 before trading back. I like the reasoning behind the idea of added picks, but if certain players are there stick with the spot. Quality over quantity.

I tend to agree with your strategy to trade back from 33 and get another top 80 pick. But the previous comment made a good point about quality over quantity. I think we NEED impact rookies at WR and C on offense, and a CB and ILB. Having 2 picks in the 2nd round and having 2 picks in the 3rd round would improve our chances of getting 4 impact players in the draft. Great analytical graphics. Well done. Excellent breakdown and you are correct on moving back. Panthers need draft capital and as your analytical data shows there are diamonds in the rough in later rounds. Panthers are trying to build a team with sustainability and you need players not player.

Excellent breakdown bro. I will say before watching this I was a fan of staying put and seeing what players drop but now I would love for them to trade back for more draft capital especially if one of those qb needy team offer up some draft picks for 33

Trading back 39 is a good play. Trading 33 back is a bad play. Having that 1st pick can really solidify and help the team have a guaranteed impact player. Then trade back for a later 2nd round and 1 extra 3rd round. Now you build as an org and pick best position player available

thats also the pick that yu can drive up a BIDDING WAR on on the 2nd day, eveyrtea, has had to see what dropped ot o the first orund, and THIS is the pick to get it.. can get wya more for this ick than anyother in trade value if you cna instigatre a bidding war

Just depends who falls. Im sure there are tiers to their board so i wouldnt trade backnif your missing out on the last guy of a tier but if theres not much difference sure i like extra picks.

Those QBs gonna drop(penix,bo and Maye) that 33 pick in my opinion is more valuable than any 25-32 pick. Once those two qbs and top 3 wide receivers go..our phones line going be busier than 106 and park call in to vote for the #1 video lol

Great point!! I would definitely ask for something astronomical for that 33rd pick!! The same way Houston wanted to Rob us for Watson is the type of rape I'm talking about!! Honestly either Xavier would work for me... And if they're both available at 33 and 39 draft them BOTH! Or take one, (33) trade back draft a IOL and best RB

I much prefer Adonai Mitchell if he’s there BUT I’ll settle for Ladd if AD is not there because Ladd is an established WR that you can plug & play immediately. He gives me Cooper Kupp vibes

Don’t trade anything at all. Just rebuild the damn team. We did good in FA. 33 is pretty much a first round pick!! This was a great FA season so let’s just go BPA but I’d still like a center and a CB as early in the draft as possible. But lord please don’t trade up into the 1st round. It never works out for us man.. (trading I mean)

What up Dunc, you're spot on. We need more darts to throw at the board, and the way to do that is trading back. Hopefully the Panther's Brass is on the same page. You should do a video that breaks down who if any players you'd move up for, who if any players we should consider a BPA that prevents us from trading back from #33 and who could we expect to be around at #39... It’s funny to me how we get so caught up on these drafts to be honest. Looking through past panthers draft classes we did be lucky as hell to hit on 2 solid players. We barely get one draft pick right that actually stays. I say we trade up as much as possible to get sure talents because at the end of day most of these players won’t be around in 2 years I promise you

Here’s a scenario that I don’t hear ANYBODY talking about So everyone of us Panthers fans want a WR so at Pick 33 if Bo Nix is there and Denver wants to trade for him we have to ask back in return for Cortland Sutton and a 4th and/or a 5th round pick OR Cortland Sutton and their 2025 2nd round pick In this scenario we get the WR and we get a 2025 2nd round pick because we don’t have one. Also that 2nd round pick will be high because the Broncos will be one of the worst teams in the league 💯

I’m not focusing on value or rookie wage scales. I want the best players. If JPJ is there, you don’t trade back to get an extra 3rd. You take JPJ. Beaux Limmer is not ready to start. If you look at his senior bowl highlights, even there, his snaps were bad. He’s not ready. Corbett is injury prone and never played the position. You could be staring down at beaux limmer and Cade mays 😂. Please lord 🙏.

Why are people still stuck on center? We have a center. Corbette is making 7 million this season. They said he would be our center. If that’s not the case we would have cut him and saved the money. I’ll be pissed if we waste our top draft picks on a center.

I think both will be there to be honest but if they are we have a conundrum why? If the Broncos want Bo Nix then what are they willing to offer for pick 33? If the Raiders want Michael Penix Jr what are they willing to offer? If the Broncos want pick 33 to get Bo Nix I say they have to give me back Cortland Sutton, and a 4th & 5th round pick or Cortland Sutton and 2025 2nd round pick why? Broncos are going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL so that 2025 2nd round pick will be a high pick for us and we also get a quality WR back in Cortland Sutton

Panthers have done a pretty crummy job drafting for years. Then an even worse job maintaining the roster. It really is a bad outfit.Your graph looks like at most positions outside the 2round is a waste of time ? So they need to dump 5th 6th and 7th move up inside the 3rd and 4th to get “stickers” I would not listen to Fitterer about anything other than are the hotdogs any good.

I wouldn’t say waste of time. Every player you draft won’t be top 10 highest paid guy. Still kinda find quality starters anyway if you have a role for them
