Hello Matthew, thx for this interesting video. The FALSTER is really a very nice watch. Can you tell me, what kind of colour do you choose for the FALSTER gen 6 in your video. BR André
Hey man! Have you tested the fossil gen 6? If yes, is it better than this Skagen watch? What are the major differences you have experienced? And one last question, which colour watch would you prefer for Skagen Falster Gen 6?
I have not tried the fossil Gen 6 but I've tried the gen 6 wellness edition. I love it, and it comes with the new Wear OS platform preinstalled. I would say it's more of a watch design but the Skagen is minimalistic. Just depends on your style. Both are great watches. I'd say the gun metal (I believe that's the finish, that's the one I have) is the finish I'd prefer
@@ayushp5323 I would say that the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition is slightly faster mainly because it's been optimized to run the new Wear OS platform where as the Falster was updated to it because it has components that are able to run the new platform. But overall, there's not much of a difference performance wise. Again, it depends on the aesthetic you are wanting mainly
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Okayy sure man! Thanks for your indepth recommendation! I think I should go with the Skagen Falster Gen 6 .Btw, do you think that the midnight Black variant of this watch, the Skagen Falster Gen 6 looks better as compared to the charcoal Color? Confused between these 2 colours actually... Need your recommendation
I've never personally seen the midnight black variant. But I do think it looks nice. I will say the finish on the charcoal could rub people the wrong way since it's kind of a matte finish so it has a weird feel vs the midnight black. The charcoal at least in my opinion when I grab it with my hands almost feel like a chalkboard so it's all about preference but both are nice.
It really depends on what all I'm doing and how many notifications I receive but I'd say about a day but I'm one that when I'm home I take it off and place it in the charger. No need to wear it at home.
I have brightness on medium, heart rate check at every 15 minutes, and I didn't get it for the wellness features so I have most of those off or at least dialed back quite a bit. I have battery mode set to Daily and it pretty much is fine all day for me but I mostly use my watch for messages and the occasional call so I don't have to keep digging the phone out of my pocket for every little thing. So I have a watchface that is simple analog time/temp/day/battery level. Anyone using it to its full capabilities as a smart watch will need to take it off and charge it more often. But it charges quite fast so most people have a 30 minute point during the day to do that.
Need some advice on my first Smart watch and I really can't decide between Samsung watch 4 or this Skagen Gen 6 , the Skagen is $30 cheaper but I heard it has issues when updated to Wear OS 3. Help me decide btw I got a S22
Honestly... If you have a Samsung phone, the Watch 4 is going to be your best bet. However, if you want closer to Wear OS 3, than Skagen Gen 6. The Watch 4 has a hugely skinned version of Wear OS 3 that really resembles more of Tizen than Wear in my opinion. Both are great watches. Also, if you do more fitness activities rather than just everyday wear than the Watch 4 is the choice to go for sure.
@@MatthewBaxter2010 i was referring to the Google assistant not working, not been able to customize the buttons as of in Wear OS 2, loosing some faces and the settings not saving
