When you make a level and save it, you'll want to go into SMBX2 -> worlds and from there find where your level is saved. Make a new folder and name it the exact same as the level file. After that, you just copy and past the files you need for the level. You'll want to ensure that you move folders like "AI" and "extra-settings" as they are into the level folder and not take anything out. After that, you should be good to go. If it doesn't display in the editor you can search it with the ? icon at the top of the screen.
