When Yushiro called Nezuko a "hag" the word he used was 'shikome' (醜女) which typically means "plain-looking girl". However, 醜女 can also mean "demon girl", coming from the fact that 醜 contains the character for demon 鬼 and its meaning was originally "ugly like a demon". The guy is actually stating "A demon? And a girl demon at that." Taniro misinterpreted his usage of the word, however, asking " 'Shikome'? As in minikui?" where minikui (醜い) uses the same first character as shikome (醜女) and means "very ugly", leaving Tanjiro initially in shock and disbelief that someone would use such a word with Nezuko, leading to his immediate defense of Nezuko's looks. I’m short it’s a play of words where tanjiros misunderstanding is a joke, because he is so protective of nezuko, but the joke gets lost in translation, and makes yushiro seem like an even weirder guy than he already is.

One unexpected thing I love about these reactions is how much we’re learning about Adam. In just 8 episodes we know he likes RPGs, is a fan of hockey, the fantasy genre, and the Witcher.

I see Yushiro’s obsession as a common trope, not unlike Tanaka and Noya’s obsession with Kiyoko and protecting her from outsiders 😅

It IS possible to eat that fast with chopsticks. It's ramen/udon so the movement of chopsticks to push the noodles up along with the slurping (which is normal for eating noodles in Japan), you definitely can. I mean, even with rice, you can eat fast too, by using the chopsticks to push the rice in your mouth. I don't recommend eating anything fast though 😂

Nezuko turning and killing is plausible but Muzan's scent was all over that house, it looked as if Nezko died trying to shield her baby brother with her body. she seemed to have awoken as a demon as her brother carried her. the fact that she has not consumed or killed humans saved her from the sword. so I really don't think that she killed her family.

Yall really need to start watching more than one episode at a time or do two a week or something, it’s gonna take like a year and a half to get somewhat caught up. The next season is starting pretty soon and by the time y’all get thru the red light district the whole story will be animated. Lol. The story is very close to the end I’m curious to see how they do the upcoming arc, I wonder if they’ll split it into two parts or just finish the story(I doubt it my money is on them splitting it up and dragging it out as long as they can). If they do split it up this new arc will be pretty short so 🤷‍♀️ we shall see what they do. Something I love about demon slayer is the animation, it is hands down one of the most beautiful animes ever animated!! Another contender imo is season one of one punch man, idk why but that first season of one punch man is just beautiful to me!! The other seasons are well animated but that first season is just 🤯 n beautiful! I love to see the art and effects, animation has progressed so much from the early days and has become top tier art that other countries n artists wish they could recreate. Disney, marvel, DC and Hollywood wish they could make stories like this!! Now all they got are redos, remakes, prequels and sequels they can’t come up with anything new and it’s just pushing more n more ppl into the arms of anime and I love it!

the demon with the balls was a child who loved playing with temaris before she was turned into a demon. so keeping them and making them deadly AF is totally in her character. her name was Susamaru.
