Thank you for the common CrossFit mistakes! As a CrossFitter (it's how I came to Oly lifting), I really appreciate the specific instruction. Sweeping the bar back instead of thrusting my hips too far forward is my main issue.
Aleksey TOROKHTIY what needs to change if feet don't move from start to receive? Weight feels light, no problem, however the feet stayed glued. Only in snatch. Does not happen in clean. Thanks!!

So to learn technique Aleksey, how often did you practice snatch, what percentage of max and how many reps when you started? And given this training program, how often did you heavy squat when learning snatch? Some say squat twice a week. Others say daily, 2-3 sets 60% of max, 5 reps. But doing often with light weights is good for technique as in snatch but doesnt build great strength in squat lifts? How often do you do snatch now and what percentages and reps? I have reasonable strength on deadlifts, 485x3(lbs) and rows 355x4. How to transfer this strength to snatch, the difficulty is after second pull, getting under the bar and catching. The grip width advice was helpful

Crossfit instructors say that with the bar overhead we should have the elbows point out (to activate the shoulder), but here you say that elbows should be forward (@3:45). Can anyone clarify?

Both the full or squat snatch and the power snatch are "real" and valid in competition. She's also just not doing power snatches because she stops pulling the bar up at about chest level, and then drops under it, and she also doesn't stop with her knees above parallel once she catches the bar.
