Nicely done! One of my favorite evening pass times is watching great 'bad' movies! This is a perfect example of how our taste in entertainment continues to evolve. The 50's was the decade of the 'Monster Matinee'. It's unfortunate that so many of these films have been lost to time and can't be restored. Keep posting movies!!

I was a baby in the 1950s but the 1960s weren't much different. What these these movies were aimed at was children because it was a much much safer time for children and children would walk down to the movie theater by themselves. Their parents were able to get rid of them for a while. So the money was in catering to teenagers and small children. It's why you see a lot of silly monster movies from that time it was made for a immature audience lol.

The Crawling Eye… among other titles. Was one. AKA The Trallenburg Terror as I remember it from my childhood. I think it’s available on RU-vid. FT was in lots of cheap productions.
