I think it might have been "Antifragile" where the author argues that the wealth of a library lies not in what you've read, but I'm what you haven't yet read. Just thought you might appreciate that idea.

@@pierrelarouge Not a theory, a hypothesis. This would be trivially easy to begin testing. Determine what you mean by "overfilling" your brain, such as academic attainments. Then look to see if there is a correlation between academic achievement and alzheimers and dementia.

That assumes the inheritability of a particular status' virtues/vices, or the malleability of a status due to nurture.

@@niicopanda The idea is that monarchy stabilizes these forces. Even if the king isnt biologicaly superior, he is the "alpha" because the clergy deemed him to be so. And through this there isnt constant battling for supremacy and therefore massive and rapid societal changes.

@@virding232 He will be because people respect the clergy and fear god. Also monarchical grooming exsists and genes do carry over. Most kings in history were both genetically alphas and deemed to be so by the church. In europe at least.

@Constantly Correct I used to hold a similar belief until I was black pilled. Go look up the ultimate black pill and cases of hybristophilia. You're perception of reality is skewed towards humans being good when it really should be clocking humans as selfish and only good so far as they can avoid punishment/consequences.

No, that's not true, that's absolutely ridiculous. The socio-sexual hierarchy predates cultural Marxism by millennia. You can easily discern it in the written historical record.

@@voxday_voxiversity I think hes got a point there in that the model of socio- sexual hierarchy of groups puts an unduly heavy emphasis on sexuality and our animalistic side by leaving out the role of social norms, rules and values in the formation of hierarchy. This social component becomes especially crucial when we look at hierarchies on a societal level (as "opposed" to the group level). Trump ist the perfect example for this because with him you can clearly see how the status that is granted to him differs right along the social expectations of the different political sides in the us. If you compare Trump to Trudeau it becomes even more clear how social differences in and between societies shape the hierarchies they form. And to be a little bit paranoid here, I have the suspicion that PUA's coveniently leave this fact out because their status relies on their projected succes with women and not their favorable pro-social qualities. The point I am trying to make here is that hierarchies are neither just some leftover chimpanze remnant nor something that is arbitrarily socially constructed but are in part a reflection of our normative conceptions of them. That is why it matters what think about who or what belongs at the top vs who or what currently is at the top and who, what where and how our idea of what belongs at the top is influenced and by whom (as in the instance of the PUA's i mentioned who try frame things in a way that highlights their "qualities", which are imho not what you would want the ideal "real men" to be like).

@@fledgling5616 Yes it does seem ironic at first, but when you think about it, there is something childish and therefore unmanly about a man who acts all macho and pushy around other men - until the quiet dignified Man who has been watching his antics patiently suddenly challenges the macho guy's act and refuses to back down. I've been that quiet guy who has done that on a number of occasions and it's interesting how quickly the macho dude deflates like a balloon and wants to be my buddy all of a sudden. It's risky because it might not always work which is why it's important for the quiet Man to keep himself physically strong and know how to fight. Avoid the situation if you can because you don't want to go to prison if things get out of hand.
