My 1st car was a Yellow 1979 Buick Regal and there was no interior carpet and depending on the season you either had hot metal in the summer or cold metal in the winter. It had missing parts under the hood also. Out of all my cars, that one remains my favorite even tho I drive a nice SUV now. I never forget where I came from. I am greatful that Allah (swt) gave me that rough patch of life so I can appreciate what I had and have.

Best solution; Don't worry about it , cause what money can buy , comes from Allah ! And what Allah promess is much beter than anything we have seen on earth , brothers and sisters , forget about materialism , it's not what we are , is not what our Lord is about .After I discovered Islam , all I want is too see my Lord and live Forever with the Best of HIS creation , and be close to HIM . Allahu Akbar ! Glory to The God of All Powers !

Hm, very interesting. In fact, I have learned this minimalist approach from my parents and I have been living this lifestyle till this age (I am 30). I testify that this approach is really really awesome: Alhamdulillah, I always "feel" that I have more than enough i.e., what I NEED (remember to differentiate between NEED and WANT, first one is necessity and second one is often a whim), I feel that I have a lot of barakah in my money even though I don't earn too much. If you don't believe it, just test it in your life; you will be amazed to see the results, Insha'allah...

Loved it.. to add, the sad reality is that people judge others by looking at the house & the car they have.. If they have a big house it means they are happy even if they are the worst family on earth & if someone lives in a small house, they start telling them, dont worry its ok if you dont have a big house, you will have it one day & this annoys soo much.. Give us a break, we are happy with what Allah has given us.. Let us live, don't make us feel bad.. Don't judge us by the brands we wear or the furniture we have in our house -_-

This is so true i used to have my heart full of hasad watching people and my friends having their own expensive mobiles and cars but i was poor as a child and i craved for money but thanks to ALLAH i never begged or asked for loans and when i was running after money i never cared how i got it i just used to buy new phones and having pizza parties with friends but never had any barakah in that everyday i was facing problems there was battery issues phone getting dead and all of this but ever since i start doing shukr everything i craved in my life came under my feet i got a good job and got the money to buy everything i wanted and my first ever drone camera taught me a lesson that nothing in this world can satisfy you except ALLAH since than i started spending money on my family and the people i like and now i am happy more than ever may ALLAH give all of us barakah in whatever we have and would be able to help people !

Subhanallah.. this is the real hard punch to me.. I just forgot what I learned in high school that the prophet pbuh taught us to live simple and to avoid debt as debt involves interests and interests are reason poverty and are against islam... And only now I just realized my actions are against what the prophet had done. :(

This honestly sums me up. I’m in the UK, alhamdulilah I have some money but while people my age (20) buy new clothes, shoes, phones etc, I wear the clothes I bought 3 years ago, drive the same car I started on.

Can I just say that firstly this dunya is nothing obviously and we are only here temporarily BUT if you have the correct mindset, money can make your life ALOT less stressful For people like me I see money as the more money I have the more people I can help, because there are TOO many people in the world who can't afford food because of their economy etc and disbaled people living in conditions in 3rd world countries I just can't describe to you Love wont fix their lives Allah is testing us to see whether we will help those in need or not And there are not enough wealthy people in the world that do enough charity, they dont do as much they should !!! Another thing is when you see that your family has lived a tough life and has never had the luxury to go to other beautiful countries or to go to medinah every year or to give your mother that house she deserves to have and to give your father that car that he never had because he could only afford the cheapest one Understand that people DIE because of the stress money gives them now some people die from a lack of money and some die from too much money but my point is Get your mind straight and get wealthy the halal way And give to those that need it and help those that need it and give your loved ones a car that doesn't break down and give your mother a house that isnt too small and dull and uncomfortable and you can live a more comfortable life than those that don't have money, that's if your mind is right Does it not pain you sitting at home watching people and children in the world suffering because of a lack of food or because some horrible people are bombing them and their houses and taking their resources etc Dua can fix it but what is better dua on its own or dua and money ?? It's all about your intentions when it comes to money AND this is what motivates me to become wealthy

I’m suffering through a very severe financial crisis, I have no option left, I’m helpless, I can’t do anything for my family since I’m still young to go for a job, but I’ve been studying hard, hard every to receive scholarships and pay my own fees. I started giving tuitions to kids at home last year but now due to covid, this thing also stopped, I’m suffering from eye problem, But I can’t go for operation, this all is giving me anxiety, the only thing I rely on now is ALLAH, please remember me in your prayers! Sir, I liked your speech. But who works hard who want to improve his life style, then he can buy the sport's car's which he/she likes. Like I'm just 18 years old and I'm working hard so I get the good life style, the life I want then there is no limits. That was a good speech. You make total sense. My husband kept bugging me that we needed a house but we had to mortgage it. I told him how can a house be an asset if it’s a debt? I told him I would rather save money, have a business and from that business I would like to buy a house. It just makes more sense. Assets not debt.

There was a fatwa released between 10-20 years ago permitting people to buy homes - I don't know the exact reason but I believe that it was said that there is a burden if you keep renting a house every month for the rest of your life. You might as well go under a mortgage and tawakal ala Allah. However a good reminder jazakAllahukhayr

today if you don't have the cash bank loans are every where willing to up front it for you. so when you take the loan there is interest in it and when there is interest there is RIBA. however majority Muslim around the world are receiving and giving RIBA just to keep up with the Dunya today. unfortunately today majority Muslim have a lot of mind soul and spiritual issues because of feeding receiving and giving RIBA. sad but true.

agreed. do not used credit card. do not leasing a car. leasing house ===> pay cash. i see people around me... they leasing a housd for 15-20 year. all life just pay debt. and when it finish they need to sell it. cause their kid getting wedding married party... you know? rent a house = the price only 3 month installment price... so if you pay leasing 1 year actually you can rent for 4 year.... no land tax. etc...

No matter what religion, just watch and listen to the message.

Else younger ones tend get a new job, finance loans,credit cards, haram spending , in debts, Allah punishment arrives, everything is taken away, Alas..... Since then, the life struggle, Allahu Akbar.... 😭😭😭 , No job, no house, no marriage, no one to help you out from debts....Allah is the only one that can bring you out of it.....
