*Jijiga/Ogaden is *Stolen Land* that belongs to Somalia. There was a war in 1977 between Somalia and Ethiopia over it. Ethiopia won because it was 5 against 1. Ethiopia, Cuba, Soviet Union, Yemen, Germany & North Korea vs Somalia alone.* This piece of history needs to be known.

Rahanweyn were the original inhabitants of Garbaharey whom were assimilated Borana Oromo like the Wardeey. Galkacyo means "Place where Oromo's were removed." It's convenient that you choose to only recognize only the past 44 years of history. Somali's are also known for forcefully assimilating people into their clans and their lands like the Ribo, Wardeey, Gaalbore, ect. If you go around calling out "thievery" because of wars, there wouldn't be any legitimate territorial ownership in the world. Let's not pretend like the Somali region would be better off unified with Somalia, ask Somalilanders. Somali's of any nation are our Cushitic brothers and sisters. Thank you for visiting Western Somalia/Ogaden 🇸🇴💪🏾🇩🇯. Somalis in that region have endured extreme suffering over the decades. Multiple genocides, mass rapes and other human rights violations have been commited in that region by the Ethiopian government under the authority of Menelik II, Haile Selassie, Mengistu Hailemariam and Meles Zenawi. We will never forget that.

I cannot say crime did not happen during Meles, but Melese brought so much change to the region. There was only one high school in the entire Ogaden region before TPLF, but now they have universities. I know the area very well and the people are really peaceful.

@heavenly-love it’s colonised land the British gave to Ethiopia’s king Menelik. The people are Somali ethnically the boarder again is colonial made. Somalis have always lived there and cover most of the ‘Horn of Africa’. The people in this film say they are ‘Ethiopian’ because they have to as they were absorbed by Ethiopia during colonialism. The sad part is another African neighbour continues to occupy their neighbours land.

@@tonywiggins7780 Yeah man it's safe. I stayed on a resort for most of my trip. There are some towns you have to be very careful in. I heard Trench Town is pretty sketchy. Besides that, Jamaica is very safe and an amazing place with great people. Also, I would probably argue only a fraction of the population can tell that I was from Ethiopia lol but not sure.

I left Ethiopia in 1994 and lived in Nairobi, Kenya for two years. I am now in North America for the last 24 years. Your videos of Africa always bring tears to my eyes. Many do not know how Africa is beautiful in people and resources. The landscape is heavenly. Many Westerners go there for a wonderful time of their lives. But now when you go to my place of origin, I could not thank you enough. I could not believe it. You are an amazing man. I was born and raised in Addis Ababa though. Somali is an ethnic group that you find in the country of Somalia, but also in Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti. So, please do not get confused by the name Somalia as a nationality. It is also an ethnic group. Just like German is a nationality but also an ethnic group. The majority of people in Austria are ethnic Germans even though their country name is not Germany. You have ethnic Germans in Switzerland as well, a country with three major ethnic groups which are Germans, French and Italian. Same with Chinese. You have Chinese ethnics who are citizens of countries in south East Asia like Malaysia and Indonesia.

I do not deny that there’s lots of Ethiopians that have hate towards somalins but anyway we are brothers and sisters after all, right? The dream of great somalia is alive and kicking, lets re-equipe our army with the vast gas and oil riches and soon will will annex even OROMIA from Ethiopia let alone the somali region.

Ethiopian Somalians are honorable and decent citizens of Ethiopia. Somali Ethiopia under Mustefe leadership is one of the most vibrant and loved state. I hope to visit Jigjiga one of those days.

There is no such a thing as Ethiopian somalis, get that fact through your thick skull. We are rebuilding our army and be prepared to be swept by tsunami floods from the grand renaissance dam once we boom it to the ground
