It's very important to know the basic of the Holy Trinity in order to profess our faith more fully. We can never understand the concept of a "God in three persons" because it is ought not to be understood or comprehend by the human mind. It's a mystery and shall remain a mystery.

As always, I found in the Gospels the answer to the question of how I will receive the crown of eternal life with the Father. This is awesome!! Thanks for this great video! I'm a striving Catholic and I just had a quick question (to anyone who wants to answer) regarding the possibility of other life in the universe. I am an engineering PhD student and I love science and astrophysics. The universe is so large, that it seems like the probability of other life existing outside of earth is non-negligible. If there are other creatures in the universe who are created in God's "image and likeness" with a soul and destined for eternity in Heaven but don't physically look like human beings, how can we reconcile the existence of these creatures with the fact that Jesus is 100% God and 100% man? Anyone have any potential hypothesis or explanation for this? It makes me wonder if only our earth contains creatures made in God's "image and likeness", or maybe those creatures outside of earth but destined for eternity with God are saved through another means different from what was revealed to us? Just a genuine question that I've been trying to grasp on some nights before I sleep, and I understand there may not be an answer because it wasn't revealed to us humans. Thanks!!

Unfortunately reading comments here and on other videos there still seem to be quite a few unitarians around [those who reject the Trinity]. This goes back all the way to Arius, a heretic in the 4th century AD, who denied the Trinity. Modern unitarians [no capital] include the Unitarians [capitalised], the JWs and the Christadelphians. I have read somewhere that at one time the very long Athanasian Creed was read at Mass on Trinity Sunday as it is even more strongly and emphatically Trinitarian than the Nicene Creed. It is named after St Athanasius, who defended the Church against Arius, it is uncertain if he actually wrote it.

In Thomistic metaphysics, "nature" is the same as "essence" (what something is), as the source of its operations. Why does it do that or act that way? Because it's its nature. I will never tire of repeating, that it looks like, among intelligent creatures, the number of the person is only 1 per substance. But God can have 3--and only 3, according to His revelation--but only 1 substance. Substance, of course, is what "has essence", which is now too complex to fully explain here.

10:23 you have to give this more thought of how to explain it, because this fails. In terms of humans bound by space-time (extension-duration) the person defines another individual out of the nature of human. Nature is not a category. The main problem with your explanation is you treat "God" like a category, rather than nature. You use the word "nature", but you describe it as a category, like "human". The reason we cannot get our heads around it is not because of the nature-person distinction. It is because of the Creator-creature distinction. The Creator is not part of the creation, nor is he limited by the creation. However, the creature is defined by the very fact that he is limited by the creation in which he is bound. Therefore, since there is no comparable extension nor duration to God where He is, there is no parallel in our language to describe this missing extension and duration. 3 in 1 is not a problem for Him outside of creation, but for us it is impossible. It is forbidden by how God the Creator made the creation, of which we are a part. I hope this helps set you in a good direction for explaining it. Another note to remember is that we are not required to grasp it and master it. We are required to be persuaded of it and believe it. If we grasp it and master it we will not obey any better than before, and likely worse, sitting in judgment over the nature of God. However, if we are persuaded and believe it, then biblical believe always leads to obedience. And that is by what God will judge us.

I would have to say the biggest problem with your video, aside from a verse out of context I noticed, would be Galatians 4:4, which literally says the Son was “made of a woman, made under the law.” I would say there’s a really good argument for the Son not being “eternally begotten”, even if you don’t agree with it.

I'm confused where you pulled that Jesus was not created. The text calling him begotten makes it seem he proceeds God. You just randomly out of nowhere say he is eternal without proving it.

Look at Galatians definition of adoption. It is not the modern definition. It is the process by which a son and heir comes into his inheritance. Until then, he has no more to call his own than one of the slaves, but now comes to inheritance by the grace of God of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

When Jesus died on the cross. Did that mean that God ceased to exist? Since a part of His nature was destroyed.

I really wonder when Lord Jesus lived as a man, was He really aware of His divinity? I mean all His splendors and majesty in Heaven. Coming down from Heaven to this world must be painful already, yet He came into this world born in stable and died in cross. That is crazy.

Scripture teaches about the only begotten Son of God clearly. Begotten Son of God isn't termed in the biological sense concerning Christ says the scripture. Read the decree of God in Psalm 2:7 which later is taught by the Apostles in Acts 13:33-34 as raised / Resurrected / lifted up. Continue reading verse 35 which says, Thou shalt not suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. In Verse 37 Apostle says whom God raised (Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee) Begotten Son of God is preached by the Apostles, which means the raised Christ. In Verse 38 & 39 through this man (Begotten Son) forgiveness of sins and justification by the Law of Moses is preached. In verses 40 & 41 Apostle is warning the despisers quoting a prophesy (….a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you) not to perish but believe in his begotten Son. In the gospel of John 3:14 Jesus Christ spoke about the only begotten Son of God through the Old Testament prophetic verse. In Verses 3:15, 16 & 18 John established the truth about the only begotten Son of God, which scripture talk’s later Marvelous truth. Muslims / Yahweh Witnesses aren't given by God this Truth. In Psalms 110: 1 & 4 the begotten Son is at the right hand of God which is sworn in as a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek in eternity. The writer of Hebrews in 5: 5 & 6 high lights the begotten Son after the order of Melchisedec. In Hebrews 5:9 & 10 & 11 we read God calling the eternal author and savior as the high priest after the order of Melchizedek, of whom we have many things to say. In Hebrews 5:4 we read that no man taketh this honor unto himself (self-appointed or esteemed). In Hebrews 5:5 Jesus was not made a high priest but the risen Christ (Begotten Son) was glorified after the order of Melchisedec by God. In Hebrews 6: 17 - 20 we read about God’s Immutable counsel unto the heirs by an oath confirmed by two Immutable things. Christ fled for refuge into the veil to lay hold upon the hope set before us as a forerunner. As the begotten Son of God entered within the veil He was made a High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. In Hebrews 7 we read about Melchisedec in plenty and in Chapter 8 as well. When people were building tower of Babel to find God , God said let us go down to confuse their language so they can't continue of what they are doing . My question who is us here God refering ? The word us which God used is plural term . He refers to more than one person. In the new testament John wrote by quoting Jesus Christ said : I and my Father are one . The entire book of Genesis is filled with the Father's who BEGOT there son's, the word begot means to bring forth / birth. Jesus was BORN of a virgin and he was begotten by the Father through the power of his Holy Spirit, he was and is the Son of man and the Son of God.

There’s nothing Trinitarian in 2 Cor 13:11-13 furthermore the verse says fellowship of the Holy Spirit not fellowship with the Holy Spirit. John clearly says fellowship is with two not three notice: 1 John 1:3 “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”

The Catholic and Orthodox definition of the word is heretically mixed up with the concept of "The Father has no origin, but Jesus has his origin in the Father". I believe the word "origin" referring to the Son, the great I AM, is misconceived. The word in relation to God the Son means the only "shown forth" or "revealed" Son of God (see WE Vine Expository dictionary). We are all created Sons of God, but Jesus is the only "revealed" or "shown forth" Son of God, uncreated. To say it means "became the Father of" begs the question "when"? In the incarnation? I believe he was the only begotten before the incarnation, because he is the only Son of the Father who IS, who is simply I AM THAT I AM, and not was created.

We are created in in the image of the Trinity. Right ? We are 3 in one also. One person. Body. Soul and Spirit. Easy

The use of the word "Begotten" as a past particle descriptor for Jesus' entrance into our ephemeral plane in John 3:16 can hold such sublime significance if we embrace its possibilities rather than just suppose Christ as this lingering spiritual appendage perpetually existing in timelessness without any known pertinent purpose aside from a fleeting temporal dust up to prove parental passion by putting humanity on track for a easier opportunity to qualify for epiphanous post-life harmony within the unfathomable glory of our father God. Can't the Son have been eternally "brought fourth" by way of always being notioned for eventual designation in not a too dissimilar way that an architect may plan, or an artist might conceive, or an inventor should eureka - well prior to manifestation? But first it would be beneficial to recognize that God requires no eternal Son for His infinite efficiency. Only an incarnated Son for a specificity. It's always a curious turmoil as to why some of the faithful can allow themselves to feel antagonized and even scandalized by even entertaining the quite lovely perception toward the person of Jesus as being an ingenuity of God's creative determination. I submit that when the vagueries of the archaic English term "Begotten" is sanwitched between the possessional context of 'God's" and the intentioned outcome of "Son" it can elegantly be inferred a refinement by divine proximity for a more poetic expansion of spiritual meaning beyond merely being "only inseminated and brought about by birth" into an emphatic testimony of being "uniquely derived and singularly embued" in reference to the exclusive conscience properties of God. To me, "Begotten" is an astonishingly powerful term of singularly seminal resolution and sacrifice. It seems Jesus as a flesh body amongst us under a constructed lineage and name must sensically in deed be a soley designed entity for aspecting God. Jesus' consciousness is directly derived from the eternal God almightly rather than merely a facsimile of some of God's core attributes as the rest of His earthly children's souls reflect. He's an authentic seeded and born man quite deliberately, as a partitioned authoritized proxy of God Himself for earnestly experiencing His creation in intimate fellowship and ministery with us His created by sharing our plights and delights on our terms from the perspective of our souls' limited state of temporal toil. God meeting with us on this equal plane as a contemporary is the ultimate act of empathy and most profound exampling of the humility we are called to emulate. Before Jesus' conception, He was not distiguished separate from the holistic entity of God's tri-omni absolute creative rule. On earth, Jesus is God purposefully limiting a segmented off representation of Himself from all the infinite power, presence and knowledge which God must inherently retain at all times and which cannot therefore be fully contained and contended within a created vessel of His particularly specified will for but a singled out matter of concentration. Video Games now are an avenue into starting to possibly better comprehend the dynamics of the relationship. As the avatar that you play in the virtual world is a limited representation of the whole dimensionality possesed by the long previously existing and discretely breathing player behind the controler who negotiates their effigy around in the mere created simulation of the game. So is your avatar in that simulation you (?) - well for all intents and purposes relevant to the tasks in that simulation the answer is yes, but transcendentally of that prospect then the answer becomes more accurately yes but not entirely. So then how unfathomly more must God be moving seperately from His temporal dimensioned human proxy? Therefore shouldn't we logically surmise earthly Jesus has to be the Son, as the Father has more business than can be privy to the authentic human experience which was His proxy Jesus' mission to complete? Once His earthly mission was accomplshed, while the life experience of Jesus must be uniquely considered, Christ is no longer a partitioned aspect of the Father as His Son, but rather They are again He - as in One - and so too is His Holy Spirit which descends upon us as a beacon of His beckoning to comfort and lead us in His purposeful directions. Another thought is how we precieve each other over the phone. We indentify the voice being picked up by a microphone wiring and processed through a complicated signal out to a speaker as still being a person, although it is a manifestation of that individual's personality being somewhat accurately represented for communication without actually being all that that person truly is or can be. If we have aspects to ourselves which are identified in separation as still being us, then just try to imagine what our infinite Creator can aspect. That's a fashion for how I articulate my limited grasp on the subject anyway. The scriptures wisely do not bother wasting energy in attempting to detail more of the unmanageably complex and ultimately arbitrary convolution to the exact machinations for such an abstruse concept. Though certainly it does specifically detail that its primary figure who is called by the common name of Yeshua was particularly prepared from the lineage of God's chosen people who preserved His prophets for a designated time to be seeded by God and birthed for God's personalized solutions. For my reckoning "Begotten" is a sublime window into the wonders of our Creator's divine designs and destinations as conducted through His own limb's ingenuity that at times seemingly act independent from one another whilst still actually being deliberately implemented by a singular mind with a harmonious goal. It's not a false teaching, it's an evident inevitability.

Why does Almighty God need a son? Is He lonely? Is He bored? Is He getting old and weak? No, it's because the early Christians were competing for authority over other branches of the Abrahamic religion.

If I beget my son then my son is born of my being. He is out of me. Not created by me. Jesus Christ is born out of God the Father. He is part of the Father. Not created by the Father but rather born out of the Father.

Here "Son" just means that Jesus DERIVES from God, as hereinafter explained. The problem is that it's impossible for the almighty God be here now. Why? It's due to the fact that the future is now SET IN STONE. We can have FREE WILL because we do NOT know what is written in the stone and do not care about that. But God would KNOW that future instead and that future MUST COME TRUE. This means God would NOT be OMNIPOTENT: He could not even change the weather of tomorrow! He would thus be OBLIGED to let the future set in stone EXACTLY UNFOLD like it is, nothing can be changed. God would NOT BE FREE too because obliged to TAKE EXACTLY the God's actions already set in stone, down to the tiny detail. How could God manage to solve that problem? The almighty God was in a very distant past, before the birth of mankind and time ("...BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN. O righteous Father, the WORLD HAS NOT KNOWN YOU....") and from that temporal point He was able to OBSERVE US in his future and to take ACTIONS in that future. But this conversely means - from our point of view - that we are REACHED BY HIM from that past. God is thus actually PRESENT HERE, but ONLY with his words and actions. It's a kind of phone communication with the past, with added possibility of omnipotent actions. In other terms we can say that God IS A SPIRIT here ("God is a spirit") because He is active but those actions are actually MADE BY NOBODY. That Spirit - who is here - is called the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, the almighty God - who dwells in that distant past - corresponds to the "Father" of the baptismal formula, no one ever saw Him ("the world has not known you")... That above is from our point of view. From GOD'S POINT OF VIEW instead things are different: when the universe started the almighty God had already done ALL HIS WORK. He already decided all his future actions so that the future was now FINALLY SET IN STONE, to be made AUTOMATICALLY TRUE by his power. He had thus made EVERYTHING. He could get rid of his then USELESS power to become like a NORMAL MAN: the Son. "Son" thus means that He DERIVES from God, He is not a Son in the common sense of the word. As a normal man, He also has a relationship with God (but much stronger), He has thus a relationship with a "different Himself". The Son has thus no power at all, but He sits in heaven next to the power of God. His power is thus always "borrowed" from the Father, under his consent. God has thus already lived his "mankind experience" once as the almighty God. He is now living his "mankind experience" a second time as a normal man.

Begotten implies a beginning. Some being that did not exist beforehand, coming into existence. The begetter is the one who initiates the process of life in the begotten. No amount of Symantec's and language redefinition can get past this 'inconvenient truth'. Constantly pairing the word begotten with the word 'eternally' in the hopes that this might cancel out the meaning of begotten, doesn't work either. It's an oxymoron and never used in scripture! Ironically your creed gets it right by Identifying the Father alone as "GOD",who "alone made the Heavens and the earth", and Christ as "LORD", Important and powerful, but not as important and powerful as GOD, a lesser being!

You literally just contradicted yourself. Begotten means born or created, in no way does it mean eternal. You're literally saying Begotten means unbegotten. It's complete and utter double think. Read Proverbs 8, and tell me The Son is lying about His own creation.

The Trinity 🤣😂

My issue with the trinity doctrine, is nobody teaches it, that one has to assume this teaching, but nobody taught a triune god. The is the problem, with proof texting scriptures, nobody taught the trinity doctrine in the scriptures and many claim it is in scriptures by reading such verses and then inferring that belief into those scriptures. Read them for what they say, don’t read into them a belief that comes from the philosophy of men and was never taught by Jesus Christ or His disciples. You claim Paul was a trinitarian, then provide scriptures of him teach a triune god or the trinity doctrine, that three person are one substance/essence/being.

More Catholic confusion. If God is a trinity and that Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God, that would make Jesus the only-begotten Son of the trinity. But, wait! How can that be? How can Jesus be the Son of the trinity if he is also a part of the trinity? It makes no sense. One other thing, 2 Cor. 3:13 says: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the holy Spirit be with all of you." Does this verse prove that God is tri-personal? Let's see by counting the "persons," shall we? 1. Jesus Christ. ONE PERSON. 2. the holy spirit. ONE PERSON. 3. God. THREE PERSONS. So, one person plus one person plus three persons equals FIVE PERSONS! So, what do ya know, a five-person trinity!!

There is no trinity. God is a Spirit and God is Holy so God is the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ Himself is the one God of Deuteronomy. Christ is the Father who gave an example of a Son so that the similar way Jesus was called the Son of God we would be called the sons of God if we abode in His word and walked in His ways. That was an example of how one in order too be called sons of God should live. If one what has one who then God cannot have one what and 3 who's. This doesn't make any sense now , does it?🤔

A Son by the nature of the term Son means comes after. A son can not by the meaning of the word be at the same time as a father. These terms are used in contradictions to the basic truth of their meaning. The actual correct meaning of Son is one who is a descendent of the Father coming after, the eternal can refer just as easily to the promise as it does to this false Catholic doctrine that takes it too far. Given a promise means one will inherit what is left for them. We have clear English words that refer to this called bene-ficiary or bene-factor, Do we really think it's just a coincidence that these words we still use today, start with the original Hebrew word 'Bene' meaning son or children of? To bene-fit from, means someone is fit to be able to get what we are rightfully entitled to. Catholicism and Christianity seem to have completely bypassed the logic of this reality. Rejecting The Living truth of creation in place as the living will of Our Creator written onto life itself as an eternal reality that can not change and will achieve every promise set out to be achieved by those willing to re-cognize their place and follow the truth correctly. This reality the true meaning of the actual word religion can still be seen by the word itself, Coming from Latin origin, the word is made up of: Re: meaning- again, or back to Ligion: where we get the word ligament from, the joining tissue between bones and muscles that joins them to allow physical movement. The true meaning of the word religion is the actual connection between our physical selves and the spiritual reality underpinning all life. Just as matter has two meanings the first one, being what matters to us. the second being the physical makeup of elements that make up the actual physical world held in place by the matter of the presence of Our Creator through his holy spirit being eternally upon it. (Not a separate entity at all, just his eternal willpower). The alpha and omega of all. We know in our own lives that when something matters to us, we give it our full attention we making sure it comes to fruition. we would never miss the time or date it would happen. Everything humans have ever invented and made was the outcome of the concept that mattered first. In this way, we can know that the matter of the universe had an origin on the same platform it matters to Our Creator who made it before withdrawing to heaven to allow it to happen as was intended. This holy spirit just as our own will is not separate from us, when we have the will power to achieve something we do it. How much more, Our loving Creator has set up everything to happen just as intended that can not go any differently, other than those who are willing to accept this plan we are grafted into the eternal promise. Christ being the anointed first-begotten clearly sitting in the center of this promise. His so-called death proof of humanity's rejection of the promise foretold from the foundational plan for us all, nothing humanity can come up with can change our path of life setup from the plan prophesied to us by all those other anointed ones (who also shone within The Creators blessings) who also connected back to Our Creator plan from our kind since the foundation of the universe when the plan was formed.. Many words in our English language have been imported from other languages because they were seen as important so their true meanings were kept locked in the words so that others cannot deceive us! If you believe this there are many other proves of these truths as keys that unlock a far greater truth for life!
