Between this and Sonic redesign on the first movie, I can almost say that we found a team which cares properly about the source material and fans reception.
No she's not. Voice actors don't have to deal with half the bs as an actor on set. What are you talking about. Have you ever even been in a set or in a recording studio. Recording studio is extremely more relaxed and the engineer can work magic. Physical actors many times have to STILL go in the studio and give clean dubbs over their physical acting for sound quality. Smh
@@Photon_Shadow But voice acting is still a form of acting. It’s acting first and then voice. Voice actors aren’t like chameleons with their voice. They’re just very good actors and it’s not sitting there reading a script in front of a mic. So, it’s just as amount of work as physical acting. Just like how tv and movie stars took theatre, voice actors have to as well
Damn, this is the 2nd time they’ve listened to their fans, and I absolutely respect them for that. First the redesign, and now this? Absolute chad studio. I REALLY wish other studios listened to the communities of the properties they represent like this
We as gamers and consumers need to come together and make this movie even more successful than the first one, even if we're not exactly Sonic fans. We need to send a message to Hollywood that we are willing to spend our hard earned cash on worthwhile projects and back studios who respect and listen to their fans.
It warms my heart that Paramount actually knows what their doing. Their putting in their heart and sweat into this franchise, and I'm so happy to consider myself a Sonic fan. I just wish Warner Brothers could be like this. If they were, than the DC universe would be better recieved.
True, just like the first one. I hope the movie will be better. It looks very good so far with tails and knuckles. I am very glad they keep listening to us! I wished Disney and Warner Bros. listened to us as well. That would be amazing! Overall, I hope Sonic 2 will be better than the first, I will definitely watch.
I agree. DC literally had a chance to come back with the success of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but them deciding not to continue the Snyderverse as well as trying to retcon DC once again with the upcoming Flash movie is just depressing in my opinion. Oh, well, at least we got The Batman releasing next week.
@@JaceAVinson Yeah, it doesn’t seem like Disney doesn’t like taking criticism when it comes to Star Wars. They just call fans who criticize the sequels “bigots” or “fascists” whenever someone doesn’t like what the direction the sequel trilogy was going.
The people behind the sonic movie are so nice they changed the whole movie franchise from realistic sonic to a more friendly sonic and now this the company is incredible
We need more companies like this because not only they can make a good movie, but as well as listening to their fans which will make the movie even better, same thing goes for video games and etc
I also love how Paramount is slowly taking their time with the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise and not jumping the shark yet. Like Sonic 1 was just a simple and small film adapting a new version of Sonic, and Sonic 2 is taking elements and story cues from Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 the game. I do hope that paramount will create a good Knuckles spin off and Sonic 3 that could be about CD or one of the adventure games
Paramount knows they got a gold mine on their hands, and they’re not gonna let Hollywood laziness stop it. The right thing has been done, and I hope more movies that use voice actors will follow their example.
The reason I mentioned Space Jam is because they never credited the voice actor of Bugs bunny at the beginning the only one was Zendaya because she is a celebrity
The Sonic films out here challenging the norms of Hollywood. Respect for voice actors, getting people who care about getting the films right in a way that honors what came before, and as a whole understanding that if you treat people like they’re worth something it’s profitable.
Its nice that the audience is being heard as long as everyone keeps it to a certain standard. Like, Sonic's original design was horrendous and fixing it made it the best movie. Now with making a VA recognize for her character on the poster is another good thing. Let's not be too nitpicky with things though. If we demand to much, we might end up being ignored when it comes to something that should really be looked at. We have found a balance for the movie producers n the gaming community that KNOW these games in and out. Listen to a little feedback n actually taking it in vs just flipping em off n saying mines better is the best way to go.
Honestly, I’m insanely excited for this movie, but I might go see this a couple times just to support it! This is what happens when you listen to people’s feedback! Thank you so much Paramount and Sega for creating an amazing soon to be even bigger franchise
First they fixed Sonic’s design in the first movie then the credited Colleen in the second movie proves how Sega and Paramount actually listen to the feedback of their fans
Unfortunately SEGA doesn’t listen to the fans as much as Paramount. Hopefully Sonic: Frontiers will change my mind on that, but it does look pretty meh from what we’ve gotten so far in my opinion.
@@the-point-bearer6689 That is true. I’m only by what we’ve seen so far and I’m only disappointed at SEGA reusing the Forces model, but everything else looks pretty solid. There’s a leak that says that the gameplay was so far a 5.5/10, but that’s probably because it’s early in gameplay.
@@LordTylerBluGunderson the Forces model is confirmed to be a placeholder until the Frontiers model is fully complete. Forces was used only because it had some weird graphics thing I cant remember the name of.
speaking of "tara strong" im actually mad at her for blocking me in the first place and for thinking she has to voice a cartoon cat to prove "religious" which shes not!
This is truly amazing! I’m so happy that Colleen is finally credited in the poster. First the Sonic design and now Colleen’s deserving credit. Paramount really is amazing.
God, I wish nothing but the best for this movie franchise. I’m actually going out of my way to take as many of my little cousins as possible. These guys get it, and they deserve to be rewarded as such.
I remember seeing the poster for Scoob and noticing this was a huge problem. They literally didn't credit Frank Welker, the star of the movie, who also happens to be a legendary voice actor who's done Scooby's voice for decades. The disrespect was unreal!
@@polocatfan Once was a whole *design change* and twice was a missing name. Those issues are so different, you can't compare them like that. This is easily unintentional, say whatever you want about the design, but they credited all the big name Hollywood people and left put the game actor. I can see them making that choice, and then actually going back on it when everyone screams at them
I'm so proud of the team at Paramount, the marketing team, SEGA, and the fans for putting amazing amounts of detail and care to characters and actors for the movies. The first movie held off on releasing the movie by fixing Sonic's design and it worked! Now they fixed the issue surrounding Tails. Listening to the audience and fan base is so important and I'm glad they making this top priority 👏🏼
AND STUFF LIKE THIS is why we will go out opening weekend EVEYTIME for a sonic movie. This just makes me want to reward the team FOR ACTUALLY LISTENING to fans for once !!!!! Good feels
I'm happy that they actually listened. It just makes me feel like people actually care about an IP that's been thrown around carelessly again and again.
Wow, a company that actually listens to their fans' input in order to produce a more satisfactory product as well as ensure future brand loyalty? What a novel idea! Revolutionary even!
The Team behind the Sonic Cinematic UNIVERSe are really good. This is because they actually listen to the community. This shows they have passion for this project.
I still wish that I would have waited to see the fixed version of Sonic before I saw the movie because holy crap I still can't stop thinking about that Sonic
I won’t forget Colleen’s name. (But not in a creepy way) Colleen has put a lot of effort into her character and she deserves the recognition. I hope she knows that she has that recognition from me. (And hopefully most sonic fans)
Wow. First they turned Sonic’s movie design from 😱 to 😻, and now this! It’s cool that unlike most movie studios, Paramount actually listens to their fans.
I adore paramount listening to their fans, which is I’m proud to say I’m a very big fan of their movies. Looking forward to Sonic movie 2! Thank you paramount for caring and listening to your fans!
I'm honestly happy that Colleen had her recognition as part of the main cast. Just like with Frank Whelker for Scoob, and Charles Martinet and Kevin Michael Richardson for Illumination's Super Mario
i did voiceover too but that doesn't mean im richer than "elon musk" or nfl hall of famer "tom brady". so do you think im not going to "heaven" for that
I honestly love that the people on the Sonic movie are honestly are fixing their mistakes. First for Sonic one and now Sonic two. I'm glad to hear they care enough to hear us. That's how you get fans to be excited to watch their movies.
I'm happy that Colleen's name is on the new poster of Sonic Movie 2 and Colleen deserves credit for her work as Tails in Sonic movie 2 and she is amazing as other animates voices like Sora from Digimon, Ino from Naruto, Jazz Fenton from Danny Phantom and Wasp from Avengers: Earth Mightest Heroes!
Not playing Devil's Advocate here at all. But knowing how design process works, its possible that poster had been made even prior to knowing who the voice of Tails was cast as (possibly even before the filming began). With two names being added, it seems more likely that the poster was made with the known existing/returning names and edited later, especially since the other looks to be a large role in the movie as well.
I cant believe how much they are listening. 💙💛❤ im defiantly watching sonic 2(even if im not a huge sonic fan and have only seen the first movie) but just because of how much they seem to care about what the fans want first they entirely changed sonics design and now they are listening to us about the poster and even made one of just tails with colleens name
We need to make voice actors as well known and famous as traditional actors and get them more recognition. Maybe we can get them in more prestigious movies and not just have unqualified or less skilled celebrities doing it.
If paramount continues like this and fixes every big controversy/problem that the internet does not like with the movie, this may become a pretty respected and insanely successful movie series.
Now that the poster is now complete, Paramount is now getting to listen to the fans (Edit: Yeah, this isn’t the first time Paramount did this mistake, Ik)
I was expecting a lore or physics based arguement about the two tail twisting or something, not this wholesome amazingness. Paramount listened, the fans won again, and everyone is happy. My day has been made.
