I agree Sonny Condell is one of the great musical poets or Irish bards of the 20th-21st century. And the beauty of it is that he is not at all big-headed and is perfectly genuine as a human being and creative spirit. He just does what he does because that's what he does and he enjoys it much of the time. That's the source of his goodness as a person and an artist. He suffers a lot just being who he is - and from not being appreciated enough in this time.

An amazing duo. Came across their music around 1973. Both really talented. Saw them in Godalming near Guildford about 4 years ago. Still fantastic. Wish they could play the UK more often. Loved the documentary.

I just found this --- what a gem of a film. I discovered Sonny's music through an old friend when in London in the early nineties. I remember a pub gig he did: tucked quietly in a corner of the lounge bar, he unhurriedly had his fish and chips, then picked up his beat-up guitar, took the stage and created magic for us.

Happened upon this by chance and throughly enjoyed it. Saw Tri Na Nog support Tull on TAAB tour in 1972 then finally got around to catching up with them again in 2018. Lovely music.

Great documentary- thank you. Definitely my personal favourite songwriter in the world. The most poetic and most skillful I've ever encountered, not to mention his wonderfully innovative and impressionistic approach to guitar. Absolutely oozes integrity and grace and a gentleman to boot. I find it very frustrating that he doesn't get much more recognition. A songwriter's songwriter -'caviar to the general'.

Great documentary. Such a shortage of material about Sonny. He is an artist of great talent and integrity. It would be great to have a full length documentary.

Great film, there is a dearth of such material about Sonny. He is a remarkable talent and a man of grest substance and integrity. It would be grest to have a full length documentary.
