Manowar is one of the first real Heavy Metal bands me and my mates found in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their earlier records might not all have had great sound but they had great feeling to go with the grandiose themes. Still to this day we know that the party hasn't started until someone says "hey, could you play that Manowar song". Then you play it, and one more, and soon you've listened to Manowar for an hour with no complaints.

One of my favorite Manowar songs. This is one of their best songs, one of their modern classics. This is powerful, epic, very metal and awesome that makes you feel like wanting to go into battle. Glad you did this awesome tune. I gotta say Gods of War is one of my favorite Manowar albums.

I like Manowar. They seem to be a cool bunch of people, not taking themselves too seriously. Like many years ago when they had a concert in Germany. Stefan Raab, the biggest name in German TV back then, went on stage with them. Hello Mr. Rock n Roll Greatings from Portugal!!! It would be cute you react to Satyricon. It is one of my favourite band....I love them so much that I hear "Satyricon with the Norwegian National Opera Chorus" at least twice a day, and my fav song "The Pentagram Burns" at least 10 times a day :) This is one of my suggestion to you.....The Pentagram Burns by Satyricon (ideal with the Norwegian National Opera) The other suggestion is texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan, live at El Mocambo, his guitar techniques are from another world

If you skip the spoken word/narrative pieces and the symphonic interludes, the actual metal songs are as good as anything they've done. This, Sleipnir, Loki God of Fire, Odin, King of Kings, Swords in the Wind...all fantastic.
