William 100% being the great Ambassador for Fraserburgh fc . It is fantasic when good folk take the time sharing interesting personal memories within a footballing club story .
I have ancestry from up north, including many from Clan Fraser, even the man Fraserburgh was named after. So as a supporter of East Kilbride, in the lowland league, we’re not having a good season this year, so it would be a nice pick me up to see the team of my ancestors’ town get up into the leagues!
Thanks for coming to my hometown you will need to come to a fraserburgh game sometime they have a good team this season and have a good chance of winning the league keep up the good work and congrats on getting to 50k subs sure u will get more 👏
As a man with ancestry from Clan Fraser, including the founder of the town. It would be great to see you get promoted! Especially since my local club East Kilbride are having a relatively poor year this year, all the best to the Broch
loved that, my late Fathers club, he always used to talk of the day in the 50's when they knocked Dundee out of the cup, great memories, thanks for the video
I'm from Bristol and love Fraserburgh. Been twice as I have a Pal there. Watched the Broch against Keith away and home versus Foress Mechanics. I'd love it if they got into the SPFL
What a nice bloke, typical of Non league clubs. Which is why when I travel to the UK from New Zealand I go to non league football. Non league = Real People , Real Clubs.
Great vlog Sam. Had the pleasure of playing there a coupe of times many years ago. Amazing to think how many great Highland League clubs are now playing in the SPFL.
I'm from Chesterfield and I was up there this summer. Went to the Cowdenbeath cup game but you lost 1-0 in the last minute. The local boys made me feel welcome in the Bellsea bar across the street. My BnB was in Peterhead (sorry boys🤣). Good luck for the rest of the season even though you don't need it and I will be back sooner rather than later ⚫⚪⚫⚪👍
Wish Fraserburgh well. As a Bonnyrigg supporter watched the home and away play-offs. Fraserburgh didnt turn up away to Bonnyrigg but at home looked a good attacking team .
Went to Bonnyrigg v Fraserburgh in the Scottish cup a few years ago, (Bonnyrigg fan) massive trek, horrible conditions, horrible performance from the rose, managed to snag a last minute winner so defo got some fond memories there
really enjoy watching videos like this of the club I used to be with! The broch will always have a special place in my heart after my beloved Blackpool of course! UTMP!
This is very interesting, my grandfather's family were from around here, and one of his uncles lived in the area for many years, he was deputy Sheriff of Aberdeen. I will definitely be a follower!
Played for Fraserburgh youth over 30 years ago when Charlie Duncan was manager. I believe at one point he was the longest serving manager in the whole of Britain and stayed across the road from my granny in Barra Crescent. Unfortunately I can't see the broch ever being a big club as it has a tiny population and full of glory hunters who support either sevco or Celtic when most of them haven't been near Glasgow in their life.
@@johnbuchan4664 Fraserburgh being in 'Aberdeen'shire, of course, and not the other end of the country. 1 trophy in About 30 years isn't exactly glory hunting, like 55 league titles since 2012.
Cracking job on Fraserburgh Sam ! Fantastic to see inside and around the ground, told you the view of the stand and the church together was a bit special, must be the best 'traditional' ground in the Highland League.
@@Biiiiitnfish They also are so in touch with their community & support as well as outsiders like Sam which makes the whole football experience even better
@@OwenSports very true, my first few experiences up there were amazing. Each club had its own unique town related history and deep rivalries. However i was welcomed at each one i visited and found the atmospheres very good. Competitive vocal but respectful
You should visit Scotland. Wonderful people will make you feel welcome. The area around Fraserburgh is actually flat not mountains like you would expect and this part of Scotland has little tourism so you will meet the proper local people not other tourists 🏴👍
Can u please come to Johnstone Burgh we are playing on Saturday in the Scottish cup against KIRKINTILLOCH Rob Roy we play our games at keanie park (🏴) 🇦🇹🇦🇹
Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. That vlog was absolutely magic. Would like to go & watch a Highland League game some day just trying to get my Girlfriend to agree to go is the issue. Would love to go & see Wick Academy or Clachnacudin but it's a fair track up from The Central belt & back doon the road again. Keep Safe Sam.
Your videos help people see what the Scottish non league system is about and it’s not as tinpot as people may think, being half Scottish myself and family come from Kilwinning who are a good club in the wosfl I tend to take interest in their progress And I agree that the winners of the highland league and lowland should go to the spfl automatically replacing 9th and 10th in league 2
Love the videos mate, one of my biggest inspirations for my matchday vlogs and my channel! I'd love to see, if you're able, maybe a one-off video of you showing how you go about making these videos, what you look for for clips/shots, how you like to edit, etc. I'm starting to find my way about it and how I like to do it but any sort of outside inspiration from one of the GOATs is always info I'll take in like a sponge
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Remember watching these as a kid, visiting my Nan, and am always shocked the Broch are still in the Highland league!
Just up the road a little from where I stay. Are you still interested in a corporate day out at Peterhead? Let me know and I can try and get it arranged
What's a rowie pal? I was up your way this summer, I went to Fraserburgh v Cowdenbeath and Aberdeen v Breidablik. I wish Macaroni pies were popular in England and then the tablet things that's just pure sugar 🏴👍
Loving your videos. Really informative and that is great to see Fraserburgh !! Any chance of a feature on Ayrshire football clubs. Largs Thistle is my team and there are many clubs with great history for instance Bill Shankly and the Glenbuck Cherrypickers. Some great views on the Clyde Coast too!!
Brochs is probably good enough anyway. Caley Thistle played at Caleys old ground at Telford street for a few years then they built a completely new stadium. Ross Co upgraded Victoria Pk enormously but both of those have been in the league system for almost 30 years now. Cove built a new stadium (yeah he forgot them) so did Peterhead, Elgin still play at Borough Briggs which was always fairly big. I've been to most of the highland league grounds and a fair few SPFL grounds, Fraserburgh, Brechin (ovo). Buckie. Forres and Inverurie wouldn't have to do too much i think. Brora I haven't seen for ages I suspect they have already upgraded the ground, Nairns isn't bad from memory. Clach, Rothes, Lossiemouth, Formartine. Turriff, Huntly Wick and Keith would need a lot of work Devronvale i've never seen. Stathspey and Fort William would need a miracle. Though I still think Fort should somehow get access to the Shinty ground in the town centre, which is pretty good.
@@FootyAdventures You are so positive it makes the videos have a great feel to them. It helps me retain the information better! Thanks very much for all your hard work.
