The Spider-Verse Short Film is Amazing 

I don't know if I qualify as an arachniphobe but definitely can't watch this more than once, I love spidervse but this is on the borderline of what I can handle with spiders. Which is a shame because the animation is so good!! But definitely made my skin crawl and my heart race a little too much. I love that the message is really just subdued and just exists as art for the sake of expressing and sharing the struggle of when anxiety becomes overwhelming. This and Puss in Boots have such a great scene for showing anxiety and how to cope.

Tony Stark. I was surprised and elated that they explored PTSD through that character. It's not always a triggering event that brings it on. One day you've always been cool as a cucumber even under fire ( literally ) and then... You're not the same person anymore. At the beginning of Top Gun a pilot has a panic attack for seemingly no reason and Maverick takes his spot to go to Top Gun. THAT GUY was the best that unit had to offer before his adventures caught up to him. I want a story about that guy. Let us see his adventures and have fun being a bad ass with him. End the movie on a high note. We know what happens next.

This one is going to be hard for me to watch. So, I'll make a point of watching it before the day is done. Love the way y'all compliment each other. Keep going.

I would rather wait and see something worth the wait, than what I saw in the Megamind 2 trailer recently (my understanding is that it was animated by a different studio and was meant to be a series before becoming a film, but I would have preferred a sequel with the same quality as the first, or possibly an improvement because the creators have grown with experience).

The mind is a complicated machine that does a lot of work. You wouldn't expect your car to run smooth without an oil change once in a while, and it's the same with therapy and your psychology. Talk about and de-stigmatize it! And if your friends don't like it... Fuck em.

It was cool to see more of a discussion versus a scripted essay. Like a spritz of lemon to bring a nice bit of variety (though I really do love video essays). I haven’t watched the Spider-Short yet but I do like that you brought up the importance of diversity & inclusion of previously ignored aspects of humanity. Unique media is great media and by being more complex and “real” it helps people (me) find more enjoyment in it.

I know this doesn't go on with the topic of this video, but I just watched your John Williams video, and I'd have to say that, while I can't speak about the composers' work, I love The Social Networks soundtrack (but, on bands Black Midi is my favorite band). And I wanted to know your thoughts on The Social Network (if you've seen it)? Also, side note, A Farewell To Kings? Fantastic album. Holy crap Edit: BOTH A MASON IDK AND PATRICK WILLEMS VIDEO IN ONE DAY???????
