One of your best opening takes ever 😂 so full of double innuendos all the way through just love it. I never thought there was someone out there with the same twisted sense of humour as myself. Long may your channel live young man and that your good lady has the resolve to endure your sense of humour just as my good lady has for the last 39 years. Laters chuckles. Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
14:47 when clearing out my nan’s stuff we had a look at the bottom of the drawers of her writing desk. Mind blown! She had a little velvet pouch with FOUR 5ounce gold bars under the bottom drawer! Nice little inheritance. Thanks nan!
Great to see work being done on this bunker again. see alot of potential for this bunker. restoring the bathroom, turning that area next to it a kitchen, painting the walls, putting in a new door. some shelves, bunk beds.
Dude is awesome!! I love the way he attacks that cushion lol. The shelter is coming along at a break neck speed I would bet that within 5 years it will get a proper mopping and the little spiders will have grown up and moved out on their own.
Clean and degrease the floor, do an epoxy coat on it. Concrete all the cracks in the wall, do a few coats of deep-penetrating Kilz primer then a color you like. Fix the electrical as best as you can, Insulate the ceiling (keeps the a/c in) and then do some cheapo panels. Prolly don't even need the water tanks and you can install a cheapo chemical toilet if you really wanted to. Unless you really wanna get into renovations, just rip all the plumbing out and use the space for something else. Could be a nice little mancave to chill in if you really wanted to work on it.
@@HerbOMatic can you add more videos of your underground bunker ? i se you have more work to do on it toilet shower electrical i thank you might have septic tank ? how does the water get pump into the water tanks?
You guys crack me up!!!! I think you really should take your wife on an actual date and film it. You guys are great together! I cannot believe that the red dots stuck to your shirt for the whole video.
Cool video! Cracked me up with the double meanings! BTW - 43 on the bottom of the AA5 type radio is the number of the quality inspector who qualified it's ready to package.
I’ve been there from the U.S. a couple of times. St. John’s mostly but I have been around the bays too me b’y. Wife’s from there. Great, great people and everywhere you look is like a picture worth taking.
Round up an old 60s TV and you could set up your PC to broadcast an RF signal, so then have some movie nights down there watching old 50s and 60s movies on it. Needs an old 50s/60s refrigerator too down there.
I have really enjoyed watching all these videos- that a real treasure! Sadly, that bunker will absolutely not save you in a nuclear event. BUT, it makes a KILLER man cave and bonus when you sell!
This is awesome! That radiation meter is a great one! It's a CDV-717, which has an extension cord so that you can place the sensor outside of your shelter and then read the radiation levels from the safety of your fallout shelter. If you can, put another wall between you and the entrance. -Reason being, you need more gamma radiation attenuation. The bathtub is a Japanese-style, which consumes very little water while allowing the occupant to get a full bath in limited space and limited water! I've seen a 55 gallon water barrel like that hanging from the roof in my buddy's granddad's fallout shelter once! What do you plan on doing with the walls? Paint? Sealant epoxy coating, what?
watching U2 have sexy time would be the funniest thing ever I just imagine you calling a time out to go get a glass of water midway through and maybe a deuce
The old AM radios were good for listening out for tornadoes. By leaving them de-tuned at one end of the band you can hear the electric crackle of the approaching storm. Before weather warnings farm wives in the mid west would have one set up on a shelf in the kitchen.
I thought for sure that radio was going to pick up '50's serial radio, like "War of the Worlds," or "Fibber McGee and Molly." Or maybe some old crooners' songs. Love the decor down there. Good choices.
Well "The Dude" has some control. Our dog would look for a corner to pee in within 5 minutes to claim Bunker Dog Ownership over the other critters. BTW, I fix-up older tube radios and looked up yours and it's a 1947 design. And for $20 and have it working..your wife scored a pretty good deal! Also that's what is call a "hot chassis" design so don't drop in the tub while taking a bath.....
Funny, I was just wondering what Herb-O-Matic was up to and then this video appeared. Not to be a bitch about it or anything, but I was hoping for an airplane restoration video. Lol
Man you guys are so lucky to have that bomb shelter, especially these days.☢ Get the plumbing working, sewage/shower and a good air filtration system = the value of your house is going to double. Just remember to get a solid plate steel door and steel door jams. Remember what happened in that Twilight Zone episode when their was a false bomb siren going off and the neighbors tried to force their way inside the families shelter? Moral to the story = don't have cheap tin foil doors on a bomb shelter. Having an escape tunnel and extra hatch would be a good idea for safety.
Cool - that is an old Stewart-Warner Radion tabletop radio - it's from the 40's and made from Bakelite like the old Army walkie-talkies and first plastic phones. That's a neat find, like something right out of a Fallout game. [edited b/c autocorrect is a ^%$#@!]
That ROC pen looks like the pens that came in the Journal/calendar task book. Can't remember what they are actually called but they are sold in the statuary section of stores. At least in the 1990's they were 😂
