I am from Malaysia and I say that this lecture by my brother Hamzah is most beautiful! May Alah bless him! Ameen. Yes, we Muslims need to come tog in love for Allah & UNITY! under the banner of Islam. Indeed this "unity'Will again be "fitnah' By the Dajjal to be a basis for further attack by "Dajjal". However, the UNITY in purpose is thru - Eradication of RIBA! Trade and have the strength of Ummah thro acquisition of REAL wealth again! So lets bring back the DEENUL ISLAM again thro MUAMALAT! Wss
To Welle May Allah Azza Wajjal grant you the truth in Islam and this world....as i see u r way of the mark with regards to this Shaykh...Rasoolullah Sallalahu Alahi Wa Alahi Wasallam stated that there will be SECTS of Muslims and only ONE will enter Jannah....for me brother i do follow and take on board Sh. Hamza Yusuf's talks Prudence etc.... and if you cant see his truthfulness in Islam then Allah Azza Wajjal has placed a Huge tribulation on u and u are amongst the cursed!!!!Astifirullah..
@Welle92 Don't give opinion on a person unless you have met with them. Hamza Yusuf is not a sufi, and no matter what you assume his stance to be on politics (which by the way is incorrect) he is a Muslim. SO what if he was in conference with Bush? Was the Prophet Muhammad never in a meeting with some of the fiercest enemies of Islam? People like you only do harm to the spread of Islam and aid the ignorant.
