Arya fighting Brienne because of her ego? where did that comment came from? what did you see before that show her doing things for her ego?.... disagree
Same! I’m over 15. 🤭 So it takes fun personalities for me to invest again, and they take the cake! Their relationship is completely adorable, and their quirks are so endearing. And their insight is fun and often accurate. Love from Detroit. 👍🏾
I'm sure the Tyrells and Dorne supplied Dragon Stone with a lot of food when they all arrived there, they did not say on scene but it's something logical to think
@@anhkriva5274 Food would've been arguably even more important to the million starving people of King's Landing, but D&D never did anything with that. Even though in earlier seasons we saw rioting, including attacking royalty, due to there being a famine/refugees in the city.
You guys are forgetting that Aria and Sansa did not like each other growing up and the last time they seen each other in Kings Landing, Aria was pissed at Sansa for siding with Joffrey. When Sansa asked Aria "who else is on your list" I'm thinking Sansa was wondering if she was on Aria's list of people she wanted to kill. When Sansa sees that Aria is a really good fighter she begins to worry a bit that she does not know her anymore and maybe she should be concerned... at least that's what the writers are wanting us to think
My interpretation is that Sansa has been trying to get back home to her siblings, only to find out how they are all so different. They are practically different people now.
We have seen Littlefinger physically afraid for his life when Cersei had the guards grab him. We've seen him bow and scrape to Tywin to keep Tywin from being angry. But I believe the only time we ever see him truly shaken to his core....SHOOK.... as they say. Is when Bran drops the "chaos is a ladder" line. He cant understand that at all.
If you rewatch it, notice how Daenerys burns all of the useful carts, skips the scorpion cart, and then continues to burn gold xd and if you rewatch in the episode (here it was skipped atm), when Daenerys dodged that first scorpion, you can see the fire trail going through and the scorpion is sitting free in the middle of fire xD like bruh what were these writers doing.
it’s hard to necessarily say arya lost herself, if anything she became who she truly was. it was always hinted she wanted to be a warrior and go to bravos, she went to bravos and came back a warrior, she was determined to stay a stark! even if it meant disobeying the faceless men..
Love this episode! I always laughed at the thought that Jon was in that cave drawing all those cave paintings to try and convince Dany the threat is real. Lol
When Mrs. October talked about knowing the characters well enough to guess how they would react to situations, she sounded a little bit like Littlefinger....
to many good moments in this show, but i think my most watched is the ending of this episode. when they are just sitting around chatting, then they hear/see the Dothraki....... then they hear the dragon
The l00t train episode, my favorite out of the last couple of seasons. Now we finally get to se the Dothraki in a fight and see why they are so feared. And finally we see what a dragon can do to an army, imagine what three could do. The Dothraki don't take prisoners, except slaves which Dany has outlawed, so they will kill their prisoners for the most part. If you're on the Lannister side, you might as well keep fighting until you're dead. Jamie is wearing full plate armor, he's going to sink. That weighs easily 80-100 pounds or more.
1:06 Littlefinger is also in Peaky Blinders. That's a GREAT SHOW as well. 18:13 slight correction. Dany murdered Messanse's master by burning him alive to set her free. She didn't "buy her" in the sense that Jon and Davos would think. She lied to the slavers then slaughtered them. 20:54 the gold was already at King's Landing. 26:52 Sansa and Arya were never close growing up either.
Wasn't she a throw in part of the deal? The Unsullied and a translator for the dragon? That's pre dracarus though. Deanerys was never going through with it but technically a deal was in place 😂.
@@ronlackey2689 exactly my point. She didn't rightfully buy them because she didn't believe in slavery, which I do applaud, but it's not as noble as it sounds, or reads, lol
I think while sisters, sansa and arya were always opposites and rarely got along. They of course were happy to see each other, but maybe not as happy as Jon would be to see Arya
Its DOTHraki, Lord October, DOTH. Not DORTH, only 1 R. Epic episode for sure, there ARE still cool episodes left, thats for sure, its 100% worth seeing through. Thank for the nostalgia watch~
This is the 3rd time in the series Arya was barred entry. The guards at King's Landing who needed a slap on the ear, and the House of Black and White, of course. She always finds a way to get inside.
The episode and technical directors should've fired on set for Jamie galloping along the shoreline but descending into the watery depths of the sea. Great battle 🔥🐲 but "Hardhome" 💀❄️ is still my favorite.
That guard who swung at Arya has already died like 3 or 4 times in this show. He got so many roles as extras that everyone got to know him and they eventually decided to give him a speaking role. I don;t thins is even that role. I think this is his second speaking role as a second character.
Just imagine how stupid the show has been since the end of season 5. She came all the way to somewhere in the reach without just sailing to kl from dragonstone. And did the dothraki fly like her from dragonstone 😅😅😅 just enjoy the last 3 seasons for fun guys. But it's not actually game of thrones 👊
Many of these traditions and cultural ways of living still exist in many ways outside of the US. Many places still have a strong class system and powerful family names, visit Europe or Asia and you'll see it everywhere.
There's a lot more reunion to come. I think there's an episode where everyone has a connection. PS - The gold caravan left to kings landing, as Randall said
Bronn and Jaimie vs Dany and the Dothraki is a pretty dang great fight honestly. And honestly, season 7 gets a pretty bad rap, but overall is quite good.
Oh Ms. October, you did it again. " Theon, you are about to get your head knocked off". It didn't happen, sadly, but I thought the same when I first saw this. You are a gem.
Not really that unrealistic There's a river right near my house you can at time walk ten feet and it's very shallow and take two or three steps and all of a sudden it's 15 feet deep
@jhaereacts it's just the camera shot we have no idea how deep it's Just pointing out it's not that unrealistic at all for water to go from very shallow to really deep in just a few feet
@@DukeJimbob then you haven't been in many rivers because there's one less than a mile from where I love that does exactly that at certain times of the year
Buenas Noches Señor y Señora Octobers, Oh Sansa Sansa Sansa, perfect imitation, it was scary, And Ransay is already part of all of us, It's good to see the musical to change the chip with the actor
The body of water that was near them was a river (there were references to the "Blackwater Rush"). It's shallow near the shore, but gets deeper towards the middle... not as deep as a lake, but deeper than the 2 or 3 feet along the edge.
Speaking of oaths, interesting that even Joffrey the most dishonorable person cared about his sacred marital oath at first, waiting to be released by someone claiming to be educated on the subject, at least. Whereas Rob Stark was the flip side of that. Lots of subtle ironic parallels on this story. Like, did you notice that what Danny was saying to John was the exact thing John was saying to Mance about taking the knee. Is your pride more important than the lives of your people, or something like that.
At this point, it became very evident that the showrunners were more interested in getting cool shots than keeping true to the storyline or even to what made the show famous in the first place. They made their reputation with their willingness to kill off a character no matter how prominent they were in the story. In this episode, we see plot armor in full effect. Bronn flees a savage Dothraki warrior and jumps out of the way of dragon fire without even getting singed. And then mere minutes later Bronn miraculously jumps out from nowhere to pull Jaime out of the way of dragon fire from a dragon mere feet away and both dive into a puddle that deepens into a lake.
@@bravassSubs It was obvious to me what a disaster it was going to be in ep1 of this season. In the s6 finale, they set up several potential storylines that they suddenly decided to abandon. The biggest indicator was Jaime - we went through 6 seasons being told he was a hero for saving Kings Landing from being burned by Aerys. He comes back home in the s6 finale to find out Cersei carried out Aerys' plan. Go back and look at his face during her coronation. Then in s7 ep1, he's her general and it was all no big deal.
I can believe that Bronn survived but the thing with Jaime was complete BS. He should’ve at least got caught. There were so many people around and nobody saw him falling into the small river? Bullshit.
I LOVE when Lady October puts her hair up because then she isn't touching it every 10 seconds 😭. I only realized it because I do the same damn thing lol. Solid episode btw 👌
Sansa & Arya both learned a completely set of skills. Neither sister would have survived the other sister's painful journey. Randyll Tarly to Jamie "All the gold's safely through the gates of King's Landing". The captured Tyrell gold was rushed ahead to Cersei before Dany attacked the Lannister army. It's clear Dany's side had control of the battle. I never understood why Dany chose to burn all the food wagons instead of keeping them for her side.
Maybe Sansa is envious that Arya has obtained these skills from starting with her 'dancing teacher' and now taking out people on her list is actually achievable for Arya, but for Sansa, vengeance is more challenging?
Apart from the Manderly’s House Reed are the Starks most loyal Bannermen. Neither Howland Reed nor Wyman Manderly are just going to be sitting at home twiddling their thumbs whilst the army of the dead are on the march. D & D forgot what made the show special & allowed it to devolve into zipping between plot points and crass genital jokes.
One of the main themes of the story is definitely fear. It’s mentioned by multiple characters throughout the seasons. By Westeros logic there isn’t a better way to conquer than with a dragon. Ask Aegon the Conqueror 😂
As there have been several references now I'm just here to say, If you ever consider playing story based video games on this channel, I'd totally dig it ❤️😭
When watching this episode live it gave me quite a bit of hope. What set GoT apart from other shows was that *ANYTHING* could happen, including the main character getting his head chopped off. No character had plot armor, at any moment a king could get poisoned or your favorite characters could get slaughtered at a wedding... And then it just so happens that Bronn and Jamie can just jump off a horse and completely dodge a fireball and fall into a physics-defying lake (is it deep or is it shallow?) and everything is alright. It was with this episode that the teeth of the writers were gone...Jamie and Bronn had their plot armor completely save them and now *ANYTHING* couldn't happen in the show anymore. The pacing is lightning speed (the entire Dothraki army and dragons just skip on out of there within the 20 seconds it takes for Bronn and Jamie to emerge from the lake) and now we are firmly entrenched in the worst writing of the show.
"The water is only a foot deep and then it's an ocean". Welcome the final two seasons of GoT. But it's still a fun ride if you ignore stuff like that. The show runners were definitely trying to get to the end so they could move on to other stuff.
Daenerys in Essos: "any man may leave and no harm will come to him" Daenerys in Westeros: "put your life on the line and fight for me, or I'll burn you alive" Honestly, a drafted army that kills deserters is every bit the slave army as the Unsullied. This shift in Dany's attitude came from within her.
To be fair she was talking to an army of traitors. The Tarly's betrayed their liege lords of House Tyrell to fight against the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. This makes even less sense because Randyll Tarly fought for House Targaryen during the Rebellion and actually defeated Robert Baratheon. He has pretty much every reason to support Daenerys lol
The show always had plot armor. I just rewatched Blackwater. Davos surviving and explosion 5 feet in front if him and somehow managing to swim to an island. Stannis magically makes it off the wall through Tywins entire army on the beach and through the bay which is on fire. There's still plenty of plot armor from the start of the show
@@jeffbachman2949not as bad as this though. The fact they took highgarden might be one of the worst plots in the series. The Tyrell’s outnumber the lannisters and the lannisters have been in a war for years.
You guys are just zero knowledge people right? DRAGONSTONE IS A ROCK it can maximum sustain a few thousand at best if well supplied. They got a few fishing hamlets and pastures but not possibility to feed Danearys army. So thats why she split army up early. There's plenty of farmlands on mainland with lots of places unaffected by war. Danaerys burned up the supply train because that would weaken her enemies.
