Squids mainly eat fish and crustaceans, which might explain why he goes so ham on the krabby patties too, since he was depriving him of them for so long.
"We're all animals! Eating each other is what nature intended!" 5:08 Btw, there is an episode where Krabs actually goes and meets other crabs, I forget what the episode was called, but he basically brought SpongeBob to this hotel place where the Crabs had some kind of "Meeting"
@@sticopath4130 *Clok* *Clok* *Clok* SNAP! WOAH! *Clok* *Clok* *Clok* SNAP! Woah! *Cheep Cheep Cheep* and then they start acting like chickens! Probably my favorite scene ever XD. Its a lot funnier when you watch it
@@Skivv5 Oh shut up, it's not like his comment is hard to understand, it may be grammaticality incorrect here and there but *WHO CARES* it's the internet why does that matter? Maybe English isn't his native language XD.
there is an episode where he eats a krabby patty and he says "so thats what i taste like" he is not referring to what crab taste like, hes referring to the old patty he ate since the fishes kept calling him old.
I think I saw a different video mention this, but I recall it being imitation crab meat which contains fish, so the person in that video flipped the script and said he was killing random customers
The mid-life crustacean line is about the patty being old and dried out its the litteral context there is no misconstrued meaning here its a direct statement
Krabs could’ve been saying “So that’s what it tastes like”, in response to either the way Krabby Patties taste if he’s never had one, or as in how that patty in specific tasted, not just “So that’s what I taste like”
It could also be that SpongeBob has a bit of a secret recipe of his own. Like Maybe he and Krabs make patties slightly differently, so maybe he was like "So that's how it tastes like"
isn’t there that episode where we see other crabs? i don’t remember the name but the plot was spongebob and mr krabs go to a hotel to see some kind of money convention to show off wealth and its full of crabs
@@zach11241vegetarian /ˌvɛdʒɪˈtɛːrɪən/ noun a person who does not eat meat or fish, and sometimes other animal products, especially for moral, religious, or health reasons. adjective relating to vegetarians or vegetarianism. "a vegetarian restaurant" There is a difference between a "veggie burger" and a "vegetarian burger", ok?
Cannibalism is, by definition, the practice of eating the flesh of one's own species. Patgar and Mr. Krabs’s ancestors look completely different so it couldn’t be considered cannibalism if Patgar ate a crab.
a few things that ruins this theory is with the episode "Kracked Krabs", we see many other krabs and none of them are feasting on eachother, despite being huddled in a hotel room. Also I just think it's a vegan patty and thats it. My question is: where do they get the cheese?
I think the writers didn’t say it was vegan just that it contained no meat. They also have milk so something is giving milk. Probably porpoises of some kind as they’re the only mammals down there Oh went to google and was reminded there’s a line where SpongeBob refers to a glass of milk he’s holding as “warm snail milk” so snails give milk in this universe.
@@dozeycody7531 I don’t know fam, I really wish I could understand the weirdness of SpongeBob lore, but people drink snail milk apparently so… yeah people are milking their cats
After that fish insulted Mr Krabs, I thought about what I would do if I were him, which would involve putting up a sign and thought about how he would charge them at least 25 cents instead of a sign saying about being able to ban people, and it also came to mind that I don't remember him coming up with this idea but we all know he would try to get insulted if people had to pay him for it, especially in modern seasons.
3:09 Actually He Said That For A Joke, That Lady Said Her Kid’s Krabby Patty Was Old And Dried Out Just Like That Guy, Then He Stole The Patty And Tasted It Saying “So Thats What I Taste Like” Implying That He Is Old And Dried Out
The "so thats what i taste like" line is meant like Crabs tastes old age since the mom said that its dry and old juat like him thats why he took the kids crabby patty and not someone elses
We also know fish on fish cannibalism is a thing in this show because there were fish sticks sold at the fry cook games after Patrick accidentally killed a bunch of fish in the crowd. And also Pearl's species is confirmed to eat plankton. Both tings are treated as something to be expected in bikini bottom.
That info about those assholes drowning the poor birds in brandy is something i wish i had never heard, that is incredibly fvcked up, thank goodness its illegal now.
By Mr crabs saying that's what I taste like, it doesn't mean the meat of a krabby patty is crab meat, what he was referring to was that the krabby patty was all dried up and old, just like him!
4:20 My 55 gallon Hunger games has Snails, Crawdads, and Mosquito fish. The Rulers are the 3 Plecos and 3 Goldfish and the Maintenance crew are shrimps, plants, and clams in a separate 'safe' section of the tank. 3 days since the last incident... crawdad broke in and ate a clam :\
Mother of pearl. The episode where SpongeBob dream hops, krabs is fishing for a giant dollar, and references Moby Dick. The recipe is so secretive and he feels bad about it because Kraby Patties are made with the meat from the mother of his daughter. Where else do you get a large supply of meat in one go? Have you ever seen patties being delivered to the Krusty Krab?
3:10 that’s actually not the actual context; since the krabby patty is old *just like* mr krabs, when he said: “so that’s what i taste like”, he basically means that he’s tasting old, and he’s old. so ye ;)
The creators literally shut this theory down at one point to specifically say the Krabby Patty contains no meat whatsoever You did take the “So that’s what I taste like” out of context. It’s a joke because Krabby Patty was called old and dried out like he was being called. If he said it all sad I don’t think the joke would land. Also we do see other crab characters… in Penny Pinchers… also the name of a whole club Mr Krabs is a part of, consisting entirely of greedy crabs
1. Krabby Pattys are vegetarian, as confirmed by the creators 2. Other crabs appear in the show 3. Most of the non standard fish are rare in the show to make the main characters stand out
At 3:00 when the mom says the patty is old and dry and krabs says "so thats what i taste like" he thinks he tastes old and dry, like the boys patty. But i mean idc so meh
We have fish, shrimp and prawn farms here and even crocodile-based products have been recently approved . I've also heard of tiger farms in China. Today, I have learned that crab farms exist.
Yall the krabby patty has been confirmed by the writers that its vegetarian and in that episode where mr krabs says "so thats what i taste like" he meant that he was bland just like the krabby patty 💀
I think that the secret formula is spongebob himself, because he is the only one who can make krabby patty that tasty.. and there was this one episode that shows mr. Krabs tried to make krabby patty but the customers didn't like it even though he said "but i know the formula"
Making Krabs the only "crab" we see is a dumbass reason cause it's like saying "SPONGEBOB IS A BLOCK OF CHEESE SINCE HIM HIS MOM AND HIS DAD ARE THE ONLY SPONGES IN THE ENTIRE SHOW!"
How's this for a theory: Mr crabs has a rapidly growing cancerous tumor, and he finds that he can keep it under control by continuously cutting off the excess tissue (yes I know it doesn't work like that irl). And he asks himself one day "why should all this meat go to waste when it could make me money?"
But if y'all remember there was an episode where plankton does find out what the secret recipe is. The last ingredient was plankton and when he found that out he freaked.
Yeti Crab: Sniff Krab's dad: HEY IM HIS OTHER DAD That one crab manager: 😢 The doctor crab: 💀 (The resturant designed as a treasure chest): WOW SO IM A TRAP NOW?
i remember when i went to a resort and i went to a steak house and i ordered the crab, to my intention i thought i would be getting an entire crab but instead i got something that looks exactly like a patty however i asked if the round burger like meat is the crab and they said yes. Watching spongebob and seeing the patty makes me believe that mr. krabs is indeed selling crabs to people.
Ugh: honestly i dont think they were intending it that way, but i can see people seeing it like that. Mid-life crustacean: that's just...wrong, to me. i like that you mention the counterpoint of "you're taking it out of context!" but another counter point: he was most likely referring to the fact that it was old, not that it was crab meat. Reason: he's had a krabby patty before. unless you're going by the season 1-3 "lore" then i get it. but he's had a krabby patty before and you (somewhat?) see him make it in "Friend or Foe". the DNA thingy: i could be wrong, but cartoon doesn't equal real life logic. that sentence kinda sounded mean but it was the only way i could word it. but basically it's true in real life but nobody knows if it is in spongebob krab trap design: ...i dont even know what to say, it's a decent argument but also makes no sense in the end where are the other crabs: there are episodes with multiple of them. krabs is afraid of larry: i highly doubt that. nuh uh.. i know i sound like a total nerd/geek/etc saying this but erm,
I agree. Also the creators said Krabby Patties are vegan and if you need even more proof I made a video disproving this theory but to summarize it Plankton says he's gone through every possible ingredient up to r and c for crab meat comes before r so yeah.
@@beefryvioligamingandmoreI mean on that last point, he didn’t know Z existed at one point so it’s very possible he skipped a few letters. Don’t get me wrong I also disagree with the theory, I’m just saying he doesn’t have the best track record with the alphabet.
it is probably a patty made from a mixture of krab meat, a pinch of chum, and a pinch of plankton. If you think about it, mr crabs goes on all the time about money, and krab meat is really expensive. It is literally called a Krabby, patty. Its secret ingredient is in the name itself. And a krabby patty is vegetarian too, well sort of anyway.
Mr krabs has eaten krabby patteries and multiple times. and lets say yes mr krabs does use krab meat, hes probably using his own arms as krabs tend to be able to regrow they limbs
I feel like the crusty Krab is designed after a treasure chest and not a lobster trap And the meat is a pinch of chum and if people say “Oh that means they will not eat it” Uh no the chum bucket uses more than a pinch plus the rest of the ingredients were not shown to us plus the characters eat both dead and waste in their diet
4 tsp of faba beans Secret ingredient red algae to give it a crisp and the proper borwn like a normal burger and barnical shavings, spices, liquid smoke, tumeric for a right texture, flour, salt, and chopped onions
Well, actually in some of the episodes, especially season 7’s “Kracked Krabs”, you will see more crabs, although those crabs may be from out of town, I honestly don’t know.
With the mr crabs one the woman said it taste old and dried out like mr crabs so he bit it and he was saying that’s what he being old and dried out tastes like
Sorry pal, you're reaching. Mr. Krabs has eaten krabby patties before, and has never said anything. The quote is absolutely related to the "old and crusty comment". Seacows exist in this universe, and the logic of Spongebob is more coorelated to human life than the sea. The crab cage shape of the restaurant could just be a joke, or a metaphor that crabs can't escape his life of business. I can never take this theory seriously. Also, crab patties do not look like that.
The reason why he said that is obvious. Hes referring to the fact that the woman called him "old and dried out" like the patty, he said "so that's what I taste like" because he referring to the fact that like himself, the patty is old and dried out. It's just a joke based on what the woman said.
