We shouldn't look at other Bibles the other Bibles change the meaning of his word kjv and the Hebrew Bible. The Talmud is of Satan We shouldn't look at it. The Torah is of Lord Jesus and Lord God. Why don't you guys just use the interlinear version of the Bible? If you want to get to the nitty gritty of a scripture, that's the best way to go. It shows you every word used in the original language, along with what English word it was translated into, and has hyperlinks for every single word to show you exactly what their definitions are, their usage, and different examples of their usage.

Anyone that accepts Jesus as savior and acquires the holy spirit are healed physically and spiritually. It doesn't matter what age, the Holy spirit gives you life. Many people live an everlasting life when they accept Jesus. Ofcourse, he will take you home when he choose to but until then, your living like your body is indestructible. No diseases (Cancer/Aids) or stress, addictions etc..... can harm you.

Great topic and discussion. Re: Moses eye not dimming and being full of vigor, the context sounds less focused on sexual vigor as it does just natural stamina and strength (which does have a natural translation to libido, but doesn’t seem to be the focus). And the the eye (single) not dimming sounds like clarity of thought and sharpness, which also makes sense contextually. I def. prefer this to the other stuff…please keep it going.

Loving the conversation. I have one thought in understanding the interpretations - vigor, moisture, vitality. These are words mostly describing his outward appearance. And moisture could be describing his skin not his libido. As in, people who age lose skin turgor becomes dry/wrinkled/scaley

This is interesting but I'm curious how is the interpretation of vigor to mean he was sexually capable or had to do with sex as all. I'm curious is there another standard for this? Only because I'm thinking in general vigor just means life force. Like he was strong/ healthy. Not saying that doesn't include his his sexual vitality but is it specific to it. Also the eye is mentioned also in scripture talking about the spirit of a man. Good eye and bad eye. I.e. The eye of a man being filled with light scripture could it be that they were saying his spirit was strong/ light behind his eyes-- showing vitality and no natural reason for him to pass? Further showing there is absolutely no physical reason for him to pass and HAD to be God. Interesting topic/ good commentary.

It's a popular theory that Moses is one of the 2 Witnesses in the Book of Revelation, chapter 11. Along with Elijah. Elijah's body never saw a typical death since he was whisked out of here on a fiery chariot. And something weird was going on with Moses' body, that's why satan wanted it. I think the giveaway clues are in Revelation 11:6 "These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire." Both of these prophets performed similar miracles when they were alive.

Vigor in older English does not necessarily mean fertility. If you notice, it said “strength” as a synonym for vigor. Strength or lack of strength is tied to longevity even in Psalm 90:10.

Is this understanding of the word 'vigour' American? I grew up in a former British colony and vigour to me doesn't hold the sexual connotation that they assumed in the video immediately. Strength/fitness/being 'full of life' are what i think of primarily. The sexual connotation only comes to mind if the context around it is sexual, and even then it wouldn't be the first thing i think of

I think that "prescription for deliverance ministry " isn't saying don't cast out or rebuke but rather that we should not assume this power of our own merit because we have none. Michael an archangel said "The Lord rebuke you " so the point is if the angels don't pronounce curses on Satan of their own according, neither should we.

Interesting. YHWH appeared together with two angels before Abraham for a meal, right before Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by YHWH from heaven. Which goes to show and prove that God can split up His being. Jesus also said “before Abraham, I Am” God could’ve quite literally come down himself in human form to bury Moses.

This video was powerful for me. Mostly because I had to have the word cracked open the whole time with you guys. Sitting here with five translations open 🤣 I wanna bring up though.. Jesus when He was on the mountain and showed His Glory to Peter James and John, that Moses, and Elijah were there. Elijah got taken up, Moses was being contented over but God the Father intervened and “buried” moses in heaven(ascended) 👀👀👀 I don’t know either though 🤷‍♂️

Yes, my thoughts went to the mt of transfiguration as well. Moses and Elijah were there when Christ was transfigured. We know that Elijah was taken up into heaven without tasting of death. Moses went up into the mountain to be in the presence of God. Was Moses changed, the same way that Elijah was? It's evident that Moses didn't die of old age or illness.

The eye, not dimming, sounds to me like they are referring to the penial gland. And the reference to his vigor I think is referring to he wasn't feeble and weak, that his death must have been sudden like maybe falling into a casm on that mountain, which would make it difficult to find the body and supports God taking him.

The Archangel and the devil contend over the body of Moses because Moses knew about evils or divination of Pharaoh’s house. Remember that Moses grew up in Pharaoh’s household so, he would see what happens. Think of when THE LORD GOD send Moses to deliver the children of Israel. Read what the magicians did. That was some serious witchcraft. However, Moses knew the power of THE LIVING GOD. That is what I think of whenever, I read that passage of Scripture. I only read the King James Version because that’s what I grew up with 5 years old or less. I find it easier to memorise, less wordy and for some reason I easily understand it. Than other versions. I always return to The KJV.

Great study guys. I learned the plains of Moab/east of the Jordan was known as the valley of the “travelers”(demons). Since Moses died in that area, Satan might have thought he could claim him since technically Moses wasn’t on “sacred space” in death. Derek Gilbert writes about stuff like this.

Through the studying that I’ve done I came to the conclusion that God took Moses. Not like Enoch or Elijah, but in a way kind of like natural death, to prevent him from entering the promised land. Again this is just a personal assumption based on everything that is written about Moses in the entire Bible.

That's the impression I'm getting without all the extra studying. Like God at least granted him the grace of seeing it, which still pales in comparison to going to heaven lol. "Oh no I won't enter the promised land" enters paradise seconds later. Granted, Moses would have* been* better off entering it (the promised land)* because that's what God originally intended for him and heaven can wait. Heavy stuff.

Jesus said no man has gone to heaven, except him, it's also stated elsewhere in the New Testament. That means Enoch and Elijah did not go to heaven. In the old testament Elijah writes a letter to the king of Israel years after he was taken.

I’ve got a few thoughts that came to me as I was listening… 1) WHO are the TWO that were talking with Jesus when he was transfigured? Elijah and Moses 2) What do we know about Elijah? That he was taken up - didn’t die 3) Why would God Himself bury Moses and nobody knows where? And WHY would there be such a big fight over his body? … Here’s the clincher… 4) WHO ARE THE TWO WITNESSES THAT ARE TO COME? (Revelation 11)

I wonder if Moses is going to be one of the witnesses in revelation? He was at the transfiguration and one of the powers of the witnesses is water with the power to turn the water into blood (Revelation 11). Maybe that's why Satan was contending for the body of Moses , because he might have put 2 and 2 together. Satan was trying to put a wrench in that part of his plan?

I think any time it mentions the LORD on earth it's Jesus. YHWH spoke the Universe and everything in it into existence I don't think that HE would be able to come to earth in all HIS glory without wiping us out. Nobody other than Jesus can look at the Father so it wasn't HIM.

The eye to which the Bible referred to with regard to Moses means the mind. Matthew 6:22-23 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! If today much of our brain is a mystery (Cut it open and find a memory. You can’t.), imagine what a mystery thinking must have been. But in a person’s eyes you can “feel” kindness, “feel” malevolence. So if your “eye” or your brain was full of goodness, then your Spirit will be also. I believe “eye” in that sense refers to the mind.

Hey guys, big fan of the channel. I don't know all the ins and outs of biblical languages and translation characteristics, but I think I can help just a little with the obscurity between translations. Both ESV and NKJV translate the phrase "And He/he buried" from the Hebrew phrase "wa yiqbor". So, they are consistent with the text, which can help eliminate a discrepancy in the original language. This where I believe the real discrepancy comes into play: translation characteristics. Traditionally the NKJV and the KJV capitalize all the pronouns of God, while translations like the ESV will leave pronouns not capitalized. Sow while it may seem that someone else could have buried Moses, I believe that most biblical text would support the argument that Moses was buried by the Lord (or at least a tool or someone under His influence like an angel). Edit: took out NASB as a translation that doesn't capitalize pronouns for God

KJV actually doesn't capitalize pronouns referring to God. The only "major" translations that capitalize are the NKJV and the NASB (some other translations like the HCSB, LSB, and BSB, capitalize as well, but they're more obscure).

The ESV does not capitalize the H when speaking of the Lord. For ex. in Gen 2:1 it states “and on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.” So when reading Deuteronomy 34:5 in the ESV you can’t draw the conclusion that “he” is not the Lord because it’s not capitalized.

I think the last source was interpreting the greater point of the Jude passage which is not necessarily, "don't cast out demons" but showing us by whose authority that happens and thus checking our pride when dealing with darkness. Jude makes his point using the illustration - Apocryphal or not - because Michael deferred all authority to the Most High when dealing with Satan.

I love this scripture. Because Moses’ story doesn’t end there. You see Jesus redeeming the moment of Moses not being able to enter the Promise Land. Jesus comes to earth and when he goes up on the mountain and takes Peter, James, and John to experience the transfiguration… guess who they see next to Jesus on the mountain? - “Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.” - Matthew 17:3. Moses standing there next to Jesus. This is cool to see that Jesus redeems it all who are faithful. Past, present, and future.

He lived to 120, he was in great health. The Lord told him he would “die”. And then told M to climb the mountain. It is a mystery why He had to bury the body in an unknown place. This is perplexing to me, as I don’t know the “why” Moses’ body was hidden…???

When it says that “he died there according to the word of the Lord”it can be interpreted as follows: and Moses died in Moab instead of in the promised land, so that the LORD’s word would be fulfilled when he spoke to Moses and said that he would not enter the promised Land for striking the Rock in the desert.

One thing that’s stood out to me on this video was the part where you guys were talking about where it says Moses died according to the word of the Lord and Ruslan ask what is that? And it brings me back to that verse in scripture where God said my spirit shall not contend with man forever for their years she’ll be 120 and then we see that Moses died at 120 It just stood out to me. Even though Moses died strong and full of vigor he might’ve died because that age is the limit, but honestly idk 🤷🏽‍♂️ that’s just what stood out to me . Dope episode 🙌🏾
