I like how every character's design is meaningful and matches the theme of the game. for example, Bucky's friends, Olive Otter, Walter Walrus, and Giovanni Goose's animal counterparts are all closely associated with the water, while other characters such as Stumbler the Rabbit, Chief Wulf, and J.D. (a rat or mole, I know he's meant to be ambiguous but c'mon) are mainly land creatures. Neat way to separate Bucky's friends and the actually helpful characters that become important to helping you traverse the later areas.
Oh my goodness, I was already blown away by the quality of this game/ARG, but I had no idea that the LITERAL DEV can join your game (I believe by turning on online multiplayer, if I understand correctly). I am too much of a baby to ever play myself, but I love the dedication. _(Also, I love Stumbler. I don't care that he was canonically designed and included for questionable reasons, the character is a literal silly rabbit and I love himb.)_
You are in fact, correct. By enabling online multiplayer, you allow the dev to join you as Stumbler. He cant attack or grab ledges (for obvious reasons) but he can help guide you on how to proceed.
@@vamp7674 obviously, spoilers: . . . . Stumbler was canonically designed without arms as a jab at Mark's sick wife, who was an amputee. Connor was a petty man, but that doesn't make me love Stumbler any less. It's not his fault he was designed that way!
for anyone reading this, i just wanna know, what are bucky's and rex's special little ability things? I already know that giovanni can hear tapes, olive can teleport to bucky and walter can break barrels.
Iirc, Bucky can also break barrels and appear from the sides of the screen, and Rex can be killed but if you don't kill him he basically has hyperspeed and will guarantee kill you if he's triggered.
Rex/Blot slowly appears as a glitched pipe, if you don't hit the glitched pipe, it'll make Rex/Blot appear on the map. Rex/Blot can also appear on the side of your screen and teleport to you if you aren't hiding like Olive/Olivia. Bucky/Brandom can break barrels and pull up websites with creepy images on your browser to disturb you while hiding and running from Bucky/Brandon.
Olive and blot: They move really fast and appear in side screens Blot is Rex btw Giovanni: he hears shit and zooming Walter: can break barrels and overall be pretty slow Bucky: can pull up tabs in your browser quickly tab out of them and hide, then close the tabs Bucky can also break barrels Bucky works a bit differently from the others instead of needing to build up speed and kill you he stalks you from afar and starts off at max speed He IS faster than you so be careful Listen for a violin Bucky is there
Giovanni is the fastest and can hear tapes, olive has the shortest "vision" but is almost as fast as Giovanni and can appear in the margins of the screen, if she sees you in the margins she teleports to you, walter is the slowest and can sometimes smash barrels, Blot can appear in the margins like Olive, but also spawns as a fake barrel, if you don't hit it enough times before it fully turns into Blot it will give chase. Bucky is weird, he's as slow as walter and can smash barrels, but seemingly also can pull up websites while chasing you to scare you and throw you off.
I saw Thegamesalmons videos on it and i absolutely loved it, it took him 6 hours to beat AFTER making a few videos on it prior. I cant wait to finish this comment before watching the video for some reason. It has SO MANY secrets that you NEED to do to progress like a whole second game and i LOVE secrets and glitches so im glad theres intentional ones.
