Omg Amanda, I feel you! I had a long conversation with my 3 day old nephew over which sports he's allowed to play, because I want to be supportive but I don't want to be bored, lol! Swimming, soccer and tennis are allowed, absolutely no football, baseball, wresting or hockey.

I also love how you talked about the dangers of having wild animals as "pets". It's so dangerous to overly-anthropomorphize animals to the point we neglect their unique needs. Animals are wonderful but we need to respect them. Thank you for constantly talking about animals and animal welfare. It's a topic we don't discuss enough.

God I love your island. My island is like a little messy town and is very simple and has no big projects. It’s just purely functional but I love it. It’s my kind of vibe and I really want to make it super extravagant but I know I would end up hating it and just feel like I either did too much and/or I haven’t done enough. I don’t have a theme either it’s just random. I’ve had some people say they lived my island a lot and it makes me happy that I don’t have to have a lot of detail to have a good island.

You’re not the only one who couldn’t bear to reset their island. I’ve kept the same one on my Switch, and saved up for a second switch to start anew there, mainly cuz I didn’t wanna lose holiday exclusive resources, and all the progress in my museum. Also, I was hunting for Ankha yesterday on my new island, but I ended up finding Pietro, Cherry and Raymond as my 8th through 10th villagers instead, so I had to put her on hold for the meantime. And now I’m stuck with 3 Jocks (Goose (the original one for the island), Antonio, and Keaton). I’m probably gonna keep Antonio for awhile, but Goose I could not care less about, and Keaton I had in New Leaf, and I wanna part ways. But like, the fact that in less than 20 tickets I found Pietro, Cherry AND Raymond?! I just had to invite them over.
