As a Kiwi I've noticed this. The almost desperation to win to make your people happy. The fervour with which you Saffas support the Springboks honestly puts us ho hum Kiwis to shame. I'm usually giving you guys stick. But I really respect how strong you support your people. We support our people with haka and the like, but other than that, we're pretty laid back about it all.

Really shows just how shit the middleweight division really is. And the Springboks winning the Rugby World Cup shows just how shit the rules in rugby really are. Rugby is the only sport in history where someone getting sent off is virtually guaranteed in every game. The governing body World Rugby make the UFC look competent.

@@JaemanEdwards Dricus had surgery to fix a sinus issue before he fought Whitaker, his coach claimed he could only get 8% airflow through his nose because of it. Look what he did to Whitaker after his nose was fixed

@@chuckgreen3629 The rest of the percentage comes from the mouth. I can't believe you buy that bullshit. Justin Gathje also had similar sinus problems as do many fighters. Cardio has never been an issue for him. And Whittaker as much as I like him got KO'd by Wonderboy so it's always on the cards for him. It just proves my point about how shit the middleweight division is. It always has been to be honest. Even back when Anderson Silva was looking like the matrix against bums. I mean fkn Bisping was a champion. The fact that two run of the mill fighters like him and Strickland became champ in this division pretty much sums it up. If Dricus beats Strickland he'll be another can champion.

Something Internationals should understand, achieving GREEN AND GOLD colours as an athlete is HIGH LEVEL TIER in South Africa. And the name Springbok is given to such a high ranking athlete in whatever sport or arts they perform. You get Springbok colours in swimming, netball, hockey, hell even singing in a choir or as a tenor or soprano winner.

No, they don't. Only the rugby team is called the "Springboks" and wears the Springbok emblem. The rest are not referred to as Springboks. The cricket team is called "The Proteas", soccer is called 'Bafana Bafana". Don't misinform the people.

Give me a link. The ANC government wanted to get rid, and did, of the Springboks symbol. Nelson Mandela, in his wisdom, convinced them to keep the Springboks symbol for rugby, and rugby alone. Like I said, prove me wrong. Send me a link of any current SA sporting team, apart from the rugby team, that still has the Springbok as an emblem? Why fo you think the Springbok aymbol does not appear on the Springboks jersey, only the sleave, during world cups? I want photos and links please? ;)

I think it's the same thing as the 95 world cup, nobody expected us to win but afterwards.
