Been listening to Athletico Mince over the last month or so...about hit the dizzying heights of episode 60...gangs of the EPL is magic. Watched a few of these now, had only realised they existed when andy and bob were saying they don't think the will get you to animate that weeks episode on account of its being a bit gross.
please can someone explain the brass hand? i havent listen to the first 3 episode cause i ve read that it is pure football and after that the comedy starts so if they mentioned in the first 3 i missed it but for me it came out of nowhere or i have i missed it? what does it stand for, where does it come from? thanks
It’s a punchline to their piss take of observational comedy, where you start with the usual (“have you ever noticed... that food on a plane tastes awful”) and then make it somehow related to having a brass hand (“and when you eat it it gets all oil and bits of rice stuck in your brass hand?”).
