30年前にカバーバンドやってたわ。さらに下手くそだった。SSラモーンズ のBlitzkrieg Bop の歌詞は当時英語できなかったからカタカナで書き起こして歌ってた。ヘイホーレッツゴー、ってね。Me and my buddies sucked playing, so we covered this band. It was back in 1990 when I was a high school kid in Japan. Without knowing much English back then, I listened to the original Ramones and wrote lyrics down in Katakana, sang with heavy Japanese accents and shit. Good old days, you know.
This just blows me away every time I hear SS. It's so fascinating that this speed and sound could be emerging simultaneously across the world with little to no contact between the bands birthing what would become hardcore.
Reminds me of Sundsvall's Massmedia, who were doing hardcore in mid to late 1978 to almost post hardcore in late 1980, without contact to bands like Middle Class and Bad Brains.
wow i just discovered this ten minutes ago and im blown away i agree with Chris Bct about being the missing link of Hardcore. This is no doubt the fastest band of the time. Insane.
Wow I've never heard a version of this album that is this good in quality. Where the fuck did you get it? I keep throwing my money at the screen to support the members of this band if any are still alive and well but nothing's happening... The version I have are all really low quality mp3's with that extra metallic sound you get from the cymbals of drum kits when you burn a CD and import it to a computer...in this version you can actually hear the other stuff going on in the song haha
Ok so made a mistake, it's actually SS 09, however I think SS 07 is called "No I can't", I don't know but at some point he'll say "no I can't" (atleast that's what I hear) 1-2 times in the middle of the song
SS - 11&SS - 26 "Koi No Sniper " Sniper of the love ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ntITkG1ERo.html Sperma covered it later. これで通じるのか不安・・・。
use online video convertor dot com (no gaps in site) address and convert it to mp3 wav flac etc copy and paste youtube url into the convertor box and convert to your preferred audio format steve
+London1977able I'll be the first to admit that "Wait and See" was a guess and a bit of a stretch at that. He definitely does sound like he's saying "Wait and See" and the melody seems to match up for the most part, along with the lyrics here and there. I could definitely be wrong in my guess that it's a loose reinterpretation of the Fats Domino track, but it's close enough that I thought it was a safe guess at the time.
