Wholesome episode 😢❤ where I live, floods like that happen a lot and it really scares me. Whew! Can NOT wait for the last ep!

If you think about the scene at 25:00, it kind of looks like they're on school stairs. Kotaro and Sakura’s outfits even resemble school uniforms, and with the way Kotaro acts, it feels like he's confessing his feelings or something. I guess this is how Kotaro sees it.

Episode 11 my beloved. If there’s one story line I’m a sucker for it’s people coming together in times of crisis to find comfort and the desire to continue after such a disaster. I adore the character moments in this a lot. We’re once again shown Lily’s maturity and ability to brighten a room. The moment she sees the children getting distressed she immediately starts singing to get their attention and then performs the song that all of them can join in on, immediately making the room’s mood lighter and more comforting. Meanwhile we see Saki working hard with the repairs and reliefs crew, helping secure the sanctuary from the outside. And even while focused she immediately gets on edge hearing the kids start to freak out. Despite her rugged exterior, Saki still has a soft spot for the kids she encounters. Franchouchou has become the symbol of hope in these trying times, which makes the scene of them revealing their zombies more impactful. They risked their entire existence on this reveal and were met with love and praise. Even if it’s played off as a silly prank, you can see the relief in Ai’s tearing up eyes. These girls have had several close calls before where they felt they would never be able to connect with normal humans but thanks to these kids saying they can’t be zombies because they aren’t scary, the girls got to perform as themselves without any secrets for the first time. They risk it all for the sake of giving everyone in saga a good time where they can feel safe and happy. And finally we have to talk about Kotaro. I’ll be honest in saying I’m surprised to see you question if Mamoru can sing given he’s been a solo artist for ages, and more importantly one of his most crucial long running roles is that of an idol boy in Uta no Prince Sama, Tokiya. The man is a very talented man. Anyways back to Kotaro. Not only do we get to see his resolve as he ran all over saga to find Franchouchou after two days of holding on for dear life, but also his two speeches at the end. Kotaro is using Franchouchou’s revenge concert as a way to not only make up for his mistakes but also to bring saga back together after this natural disaster. He hasn’t given up on their revenge and will do all he can to make Franchouchou a success. Then there’s the ending scene. We had already known Kotaro knew Sakura but here we get a glimpse as to how crucial her death was to him. After losing her he was lost. Even if they weren’t super close it was clear Kotaro loved Sakura and wanted to support her idol dream. So ten years later he made a decision. Even if he had to take on god himself, no matter who would come to hate him, Kotaro was gonna bring Sakura back and let her live her dream. I’m not quite sure if the packet we see him holding is Sakura’s audition form, or if it holds the information of the girls he resurrected but it’s clear he had come to the resolve of seeing this to the end. We don’t know what Kotaro had to give for him to be able to bring back all these girls from the dead, but no matter what as long as Franchouchou exists he’ll be the one to have the resolve to see this till the end. To support these girls no matter how good or bad things get. Next episode sadly will be the last one. While we did get an announcement for a movie after season 2 ended it’s a Mappa movie. We haven’t had any info given about the movie since it’s teaser. From what I remember the director for ZLS left Mappa a year or two ago so honestly I’m not sure if we’ll be given that movie. Mappa is a bit of a gamble these days given what they did to Yuri on Ice fans. We can only hope at this rate

The next episode is going to be out of this world. Now that Franchouchou has made their name known, and their revenge is close to being completed, they will be able to do the EFS concert. By the way, this episode is based on real floods in Saga in 2019, and the date of the concert, March 8, 2020, is a date known to fans because a concert was going to be held that was later cancelled due to COVID-19. There is a movie in development, and so far, it is known that it is still in production (as of September 2024) so ​​there could be news soon...although it has been announced since 2021
