5-6 1s cast WHILE 2s lead (nearer hands joined) up to 1st place;
7-8 1s set advancing, pulling right shoulder back to finish facing out in balance position with partner's corners;
9-14 2s1s3s dance ¾ of double triangles;
15-16 corners set WHILE 1s set, pulling right shoulder back to finish facing partner's second corner;
17-24 2s1L 1M3s reels of 3 across, 1s giving right shoulder to partner's second corner to start and finishing in 2nd place on opposite sides;
25-30 2s1s3s 6 hands round to the left;
31-32 1s cross by the right.

The Starry Eyed Lassie was on the programme for the Napier Scottish Country Dancing Club's 70th Anniversary Ball on August 26, 2023.
Live music was by Wild Heather: Lynne Scott, Mary McDonald, Sharlene Penman and Anne-Marie Forsyth, with their back-up crew James Scott (sound) and Duncan McDonald.
The dance was held in St Patrick's School hall, Napier, New Zealand.
