If you save just 4 days a year, you'll have a whole year saved up in only 92 years. If you use that extra year to save 4 dollars a day, you can afford a house costing up to $1,460.
The Bayonetta story goes further. PlatinumGames later came with a statement that they offered her 4,000 per session for 4 or five sessions and later offered her 4,000 for a one session cameo once they'd replaced her. After, Hellena came with another statement saying she was offered 15,000, which she declined, before being offered 4,000 some months after. She lied by omission of important details.
@@CompaSystem wait really? I have no knowledge of this whole ordeal but that sounds like a very weird and wrong reaction of said fans. Now I might go look up more info about this.
About the bayonetta situation: she lied and was offered more! Much more. She declined and platinum games offered to have her voice a cameo in game and that was the 4K she was talking about
The funny thing about boomers idolising the 1950's is that at best theyd have been very small children back then, assuming they were born at all, so they really don't have any valid perspective.
Bro, anything that's slightly left of Fundamentalist Christianity is Stalin Communism to these people. A bunch of elderly people, who are so brainwashed by American Conservatism that they think universal healthcare is woke liberal tyranny. If you can convince ELDERLY people that universal healthcare is bad, tofu doesn't stand a chance.
I'm gonna be that guy... Canoncally batman has actually had his sperm stolen and used to create a child assassin (who would later go on to be the 4th Robin) So hearing he would of had a vasectimy would actually make logical sense tbh
@@TP-mv6en It can mean centre-left or centre-right depending on where you're talking about, often referred to as a "classic liberal". It's considered as such because liberalism in Europe is largely adopted by centre politics, as a result centre-rights and centre-lefts also commonly adopt liberalism.
More of these 😂 I've noticed... older people... claiming we're all being censored when an app has an update 😂 (like RU-vid removing the view oldest option, apparently that is to censor us all 😂)
1:59 'kebab was not even a word, nevermind a food' my brother in christ, The word kebab likely came to English in the late 17th century from the Arabic kabāb, partly through Hindustani, Persian and Turkish.
People always seem to forget the fact that in the 1900's you could just go outside and get shot for no reason, treat black people like slaves (which still kind of happens), hit your kids with wooden sticks and treat your wife like property. Sounds absolutely fuckin sick doesn't it mate
@@ebenezer-scrooge The thing is she would be voice acting, it's not like they spend a year recording all the Bayonetta lines for the game. If you consider that she probably would've worked for like 3 weeks for it, then it's a lot of money.
It's really funny to me that they're using Peter Griffin as an emblem for anti-liberal statements considering how much of a pro-liberal, animal rights, pro-weed legalization kinda guy Seth Macfarlane has shown himself to be.
1:54 My nan has to read at least three of these to me every time I visit her. She read this one last time and proceed to order a takeaway straight after.
you know those three girls that said a caption like “no nose rings no pink hair” well firstly dusty pink hair was a pretty popular colour and secondly those three were from a movie called like “sex kittens go to college”sooooo
7:13 even though some borderline subpar homes in the US cost even 300k, worse when it's closer to the city, far worse if you are in New York or California... Although farther away from the city where I live modestly close to houses do get cheaper, but they are farther away from various things.
1:55 ain’t no way, that’s GOT to be satire (or they’re literally dumb and live in a bubble). Like pasta didn’t exist but spaghetti did? Curry wasn’t eaten in South Asia in the 50’s? Seaweed wasn’t already being eaten in Asia? Like what lol 6:00 further proving my point that these people have literally no idea what they’re talking about. Tofu isn’t a “liberal food” it’s been eaten in Asia for decades. And I’d say almost any food (with or or without tofu) from Asia tastes ten times better than that bland potato mush and dry squished meat brick lol
Regarding the 'why were kids in [insert literally any time-frame from a couple decades ago onward] more respectful', it turns out there's a really weird trend of that comment just cropping up every few decades in papers, research articles, etc etc- I need to find the source but I saw a lil article where someone had done a literature view centering round the theme of kids being more disrespectful than they used to and there were literal columns from like the 1910s saying the same shit as today. Kids have always been 'assholes'/perceived as a public menace, we just don't realise it till we're older and get irritated by their immaturity, because we've matured and forget the stupid shit we used to do lmao and that we have the benefit of hindsight now only bc we made those mistakes That defense being made, kids do be annoying, but it's the one time in life where you should be cut a bit of slack for that lol- what are you meant to do, speedrun pfc development? Let the kids be annoying, reign chaos on the land you'll feel like every mistake is the end of the world and then you'll be in your 20s and joking with people you swore you'd never get along with that you were both little shits when you were younger lol
Had a shite day today (am sick and had to stay home from school, couldn't see my mates :( ) but as always, Jorge comes in clutch and releases another epic video, right as my food is done. (I hate L*berals ,only REAL men with GUNS are allowed in this commend section) xoxo
@@GLIBZZ it's also comment, not commend, also it's a comma then a space, not the other way round, also I don't hate Liberals, also I think unrestricted gun ownership is stupid.
Salmonella was huge in the 50s 'cause washing your hands and chopping boards before and during the cooking process was yet to become the norm. Think I'll pass.
I’m so annoyed at people not getting the bayonetta situation, the people hiring the voice actor did a popular trick called “read the air” so they basically paid her low as a way to confess, “we don’t need you anymore.”
I know those are just silly memes and I laugh at them yes, but didn't the people behind these raise the first Millennials?? They are literally complaining about the aftermath of their actions...
7:18 This is really stupid 4 x 365 = 1,460 200,000/ 1,460 = approximately 136.9 it would take you around 136 years to buy a 200,000 dollar house. that's of course not taking into account taxes, inflation, insurance, rent, and so on...
The fact that tortoises' shells are actually directly attached to a tortoises spine means the meme about the tortoise make no sense even if you did think that the message made sense .You see if you removed a tortoise's shell they'd just you know ...die but if you look at women now without their "security things" I'm pretty sure most of them aren't dead.
Its funny how people bring up people who would travel 500 km but as George said, they didnt have cars and people seem to forget especially Indians used horses A LOT as their method of transport, they didnt walk lmao.
That "Eating in the fifties" post is hilariously wrong. -Macaroni and spaghetti are and always have been _types of pasta;_ ignorance does not change this fact. -The word Curry is apparently not even used in India itself, but the food culture we refer to by that name did not magically appear in the 60s; likely, random roaming peoples from all over europe and asia found there way there centuries ago and enjoyed it just fine, tasty as it is -"Take-away" (or takeout) has surely existed for as long as restaurants, carts and people who can afford to pay extra, i.e. forever. -Pizza has existed in Italy for over a thousand years and appeared in New York in 1905, decades before the vaunted 50s -Bananas and oranges may have been less common due to worse logistics and less globalized fruit companies, so I'll grant that in the past, people may have gotten less vitamin C and potassium in their daily diets; nice one, 50s -Plain chips can be tasty, but with no alternatives for contrast you're not going to appreciate them as much -Oil is a type of fat, and has been used for cooking since its discovery; various other fats have also been used for lubrication purposes -"We used to make tea in a more hasslesome way" nostalgia aside, green tea is just white tea before it becomes black tea. It's the same leaves from the same frigging plant, processed to varying extents. "Our tea was always charred back then" is a weird flex -Sugar cubes were posh? Sure, why not - one lump or two, old fellow~? I'm orff to play the grahnd piahnoe~ -What even are chicken fingers, fair point -You not having heard of yoghurt didn't stop the mongol hordes from surviving on the stuff way back when, but sure -"Healthy food consisted of anything edible" is a funny way to say "we ate additive-riddled garbage and got stomach cancer", but I'll allow it -Cooking outside is not camping, it's grilling, or if you're not using a grill... campfire cooking, I guess? Camping is when you set up a tent, bozo -Seaweed of various kinds has been incorporated in the cuisine of coastal communities since the invention of the sea, get rekt -Kebab still isn't a word, you and your fellow mispronouncers mean "Döner Kebap" which means "Rotated Meat" in that darn, tricky-to-speak foreign-ese language you hate to think about but love to complain about; if you don't like it, here's a quick and easy life hack: Don't eat it -Sugar is and was always proudly endorsed by the sugar industry and its lobbyists; if you'd like to know more about why most of the US is morbidly overweight now, try thinking about what you just said and which way this trend has gone since the 50s (also y'all used to put actual cocaine in coca-cola and you insisted that was good for you too, so... maybe you boomers are all a tiny bit full of it) -Prunes... I'm sorry, are we complaining that prunes are consumed for enjoyment, now? And not as medicine for unmoving bowels? We _do_ have a lot of free time on our hands, don't we? -Muesli is similar to cattle feed in some regards, depending on whether you actually feed your cattle decently or just cram them full of crap, I suppose. Mammals benefit from consuming some dietary fiber; who knew?! -Something about pineapples, just... what, you're angry they're not always chunked now? Or that they're sometimes sold in actual pineapple form? Who can say. In conclusion, this has been me, screaming into the void, wisely spending my limited time on this earth trying to stamp out mass stupidity. And this has also, perhaps, been you reading a lengthy rant and - at best - feeling a little less alone. If so, thank you for sticking with me, and have a nice day.
I feel like this very much depends on the context. If you talk about an issues that regards women and feminine presenting people, you can just say women. If you talk about something that relates to giving birth it technically doesn’t apply to just women, so it is technically correct to say birthing persons.
