The State of Freight: A Forward Look At Spring 

People really just look at the trees and not the forest. When they talk about cutting rates, they're talking about further sustaining the economy with loans. Wake up guys That's what's caused all this problems in the first place. That's why we don't have real growth in this economy it's constantly struggling for air. We need to reduce government spending by about 3/4ths and we need sustained GDP growth at the federal level for 10 or 20 years to recover. Almost every state runs a positive GDP but the federal government destroys it with irresponsible spending, The federal government spends 130% more than it takes in. And you guys are talking about cutting the rates and increasing government spending like it's a good thing. This is the problem. It's insanity.

No offense, but these guys are so foolish to imply that government spending is good for the economy. Government spending is the exact reason why our economy is failing. You need to think about it in terms of economic energy, when the federal government is pulling energy out of the economy and redirecting it it's creating tremendous inefficiency. That's the reason that the economy is dying right now.
