The State of North American Bats 

I really hope you are able to get more companies to help with bat conservation. It is so important that we save them. They are an integral part of our world, and our children's future. Can you imagine if a child is only able to see a bat in a photograph?

Bats are in big trouble all over the world even insects are in trouble, i remember in the 70s as a kid the street lights at night were pack with bugs and bats chasing them now you dont even see one bug much less bats. There is some success in Texas thanks to Dr Tuttle and his team but sadly the situation here in the states and worldwide is extreme. I just remember when the sky was cover by them and now there is none. I miss them.

I can't believe I'm recommending this, but I would have watched ANY ads as part of this video just knowing the revenue might help your organization. Looking forward to future "State of the N.A. Bats" videos, hopefully with monetization?

I farm almonds, prune, olives and will be putting up bat boxes this month . I am hoping to increase bat population to help control naval orange worm moths. We have two locations with water near by to accommodate the boxes so it makes sense to give it a try. I hope it is a build it and they will come moment.

Thanks for posting this update on bat population decline. I didn't realize white nose syndrome was considered an invasive species, but I guess as a fungus from Asia, it really is.
