I'd imagine there's more fans out there but with most younger fans not having the financial resources to make their own art, machines, cosplay, or short films is limiting how many area out there. Even I had to give up on cosplay because it was too expensive but I still like the concept.
@@ReaverLordTonus Thats so true! I became interested into steampunk when I was around twelve years old. It just absolutely fascinated me and I was so sad that you could only find a limited amount of steampunk related content. I've been soaking up every bit of steampunk content I can find ever since.
@@ReaverLordTonus you don’t have to do alll of that, hell the goths have a huge scene and not everyone makes music, short films, and whatever, it’s just getting all dressed up and getting together for fun, or wearing some parts of it around in daily life if u want, I have one character I’m just getting started, I don’t think I could afford to do more than one but I’m okay with just the one and building on the character, I do wish the scene was bigger and I also wish COVID would be over so I could even go to small events haha
I still Love doing back & rewatching this episode! When conversations and discussions get too loose - the BASICS always help! God Bless. From NY City. Darth “ I ain’t wearing no stinking masks “ AIRBORNE Nobody 55’
@@RadioRetrofuture That sounds cool, I'll be sure to check it out. Also, a quick question. Do you think that Electro swing can be part of Steampunk music or is it more of a Dieselpunk thing? I've never really had anyone to talk about Steampunk with, sorry.
Miku Mayana like we stated in the video on music. No such thing as Steampunk music. Only music steampunks like. Victor and the Bully kinda come close. Also, if you looking for conversation. Join our Discord.
4-5 years passed and it feels like steampunk died. 7 years ago I was into steampunk I fell off at some point. And every once in a while a some I know pops up from back then I'm ah remember to look into it Again and the I don't. Well hello mfs I'm back. Looking to see how dead it is.
A started working on my own Steampunk series since I made it this season. Since the disease shall not be named, the costume community has thawed, but in the Indy/creative community its very much alive. The Cosplayers just don't pay any attention to it.
Not specifically. I often talk about retrofuturism in games, and made videos on Bioshock and and other games. Do you have a specific question or subject in mind? Maybe I can do a video about it.
@@RadioRetrofuture jajajaja. Now being serious, thanks for all the information, i was looking for it in order to write s short comic. It was really helpful.
