The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7x Wireless Gaming Headset!  

When it works, the sound is great and it is very comfortable. The problem comes when it picks a new output and then won't switch back to the headphones. All the customization in the world doesn't mean jack if it won't output the sound through the headphones.

YT has zero videos showing these headsets working with Nintendo switch (docked & non-docked)…. I’ll keep searching

They need to change that dongle. It's ridiculous. I've got a lian li o11 d evo and if I'd plug that in to my front usbc port it blocks the usb a port.

If I brought my Nova 7P dongle to work… could I change the sound EQ profile on my work PC and save it without having the headphones with me… or do the headphones have to be there when you save it? I already updated the firmware on my brother’s PC but I’m curious if it saves the EQ to the dongle or headphones because it would be nice to just bring the dongle to work and it the whole headset

I couldn't stand mine and sent them back. way to loose fitting and the sound was terrible, the sound was so odd like. It felt like the Soundstage was broken and background noise was loud and foreground noise was so quiet and messy. I literally had hearing fatigue after using them, like a ringing or something in my brain because the way it sounded and not that it was too loud... I also tried about 3 custom eq settings others gave to try and help the sound, but nothing worked. I went with epos h6pro close back and wow those sound great! Stinks they are wired, but better then those nova 7x by a mile..

Hi! I have a few quistions about the Arctic series. I currently have had the Arctis 3 for a couple of years and they were ansolutely amazing, but I really want to buy them again. They are discontinued ofcourse so I am looking for a new headset. The one thing I absolutely hate is that everything is now an active, wireless headset, while I am looking for one I can use passive, with a 3,5mm jack in my xbox one controller and still have surround sound. I am very confused because it is a real pain finding out if that is possible with the new models, so can you still use the 7x, 7x+ or 9x without battery and wired like the arctic 3? I really hope I can get one before black friday, just can't figure it out! Thank you!
