Iv had mine about 6 months now and they are the best headset iv ever owned. I love how I can just change the battery when it goes flat in less then 10 seconds.

There's eq settings online... takes awhile to set up but better than the flat game profile settings built in....bass music setting set on media mixer in pc with the sonar software is a game changer...plenty of clean bass

I was playing around with the settings and it now sounds so much better than right out of the box because it was on the standard “flat” eq and now that it’s customized I can hear everything and I like how crisp everything sounds

I just wish they didn’t feel so cheap, I understand why they make them out of plastic to reduce weight for long sessions, but I like my stuff to have a little weight to it and actually feel high quality, especially at the price point it’s at, returned them because of this. They feel like a cheap ass headset. My favorite thing about this headset though is the simultaneous blue tooth and wireless option, was able to run discord off my phone and have game audio from my PlayStation. Another thing I really dislike was the usb c plug in for RU-vid, because of how it’s designed it completely covers your normal usb port on the front of the ps5 rendering it useless while having it plugged in

I been using the headset for awhile and the only downside about it is the mic and some people can feel a little bump on their ears but that about it if you buy this mic you should also buy a mic so you don’t sound to bad but I did even buy a mic because I have no where to put it 😌

@@notsure9865 on pc you can use sonar it help a tiny bit but you have to mess with it for like 10 minutes until you find what you like But sonar only works on pc so if you go to use the headset on PlayStation or Xbox it will sound not so great but still useable

I have the first Audeze gaming headset, the Penrose, and the Nova Pro Wireless. Had way too many stability and build quality issues but the drivers are miles better on the Audeze Penrose. Hopefully now that Sony owns them, they drop a PlayStation headset with EQ built in on the PS5 software

Except the Arctic 7, 7X, 7P are 1/2 price and sound exactly the same if you don’t need ANC and swappable battery. You have to game competitive FPS daily to even begin to justify these headphones.

⁠⁠⁠@@TheRealSlickGoku It’s called give a fair & balanced review, rather than a 60 second d*** riding session. $350 never on sale nova pro vs $150 always on sale 7, 7X, 7P. You’re getting a sh***y DAC that everyone reports having issues with, rechargeable batteries and ANC…the nova 7s have a 38 hour battery life and you can do everything on the SS GG Client that you can do on the DAC. But hey, this guy recommends getting these for $200 more without even mentioning the 7’s. You two are both geniuses 👍🏼

I owned mine for 4 months now, and yesterday left ear cup stopped working. I haven't dropped or misused my headset through out the use time. So hopefully the warranty will cover replacement. Anyone else experienced similar issues?

A50 are bag of crap. I developed issue with right ear being much quieter than left eqr, is known issue for Astro A50 and Logitech support just offered, 20% discount code, rather than admitting A50s sucks.

Tbh it’s better to get a professional mic always but the sound quality along with two battery pack allow very fast swapping of the battery and reconnect within 20-30 seconds. Some of what makes me a fan of the SteelSeries, also Bluetooth make it work for everything like switch or using your phone, while gaming

Wow, I play at -10 db with 90 in-game volume. Don't play with it on max, it will destroy your hearing. The EQ im using is -4/-4/-5/-6/-6/6/7/6. Headphones bass boost or home theater, whatever you prefer. Put gain on the gamedac to High. Might seem a little sharp at first but the footsteps are a lot clearer with this EQ for me.

@welit7187 Hey I appreciate the response. The only one I never used was TV as opposed to base boost ect. For some reason when I put it on TV is got sustainably louder. I didn't think that's normal 🤔 But gain has been on high from the start wish ot was this loud on base boost headphones ect. Thank you for the EQs

@@john-l1d5h it got "louder" because the dynamic range got narrower. For shooter games, you wanna have a wider dynamic range since it makes the different types of sounds stand out from each other. Home Theater has the widest dynamic range for this reason.

@welit7187 I will try those settings. I noticed you are negative on the base side? I was also told to just turn up all the EQ settings to make it louder. My hearing is good and they are not nearly loud enough to be uncomfortable

I like the Razer Kaira Pro for xbox better. I just got the steel series artics nova 7x which is the best of them all in my opinion b/c its compatible with everything. I got it b/c i recently got a PS5. Ive always been the type to listen to other media while gaming & the Kaira Pro's showed me u can actually listen to ur game & phone simultaneously through ur headphones, but they're only compatible with the xbox, so the only other headphone i found that can do that is the 7x's...Im more of an xbox fan anyway but i needed good headphones to play Spiderman 2...They're ok. B4 i was playing with my audio technica m50x's that i turned into a gaming headset by adding a mic & wicked cushions to it & i put them 2nd over the steel series, but they maybe #1. Those mx50's may be the best headphones ever especially when u use them with the turtle beach audio adapter. Ur able to do everything from ur controller. It gives u 5 eq options, 3 mic eq options, mic monitoring, chat & voice mixer, etc.

So technically there will be a delay due to it being wireless but it’s something you can’t pick up on at all. Like I even double checked and opened Valorant to shoot my gun to see if the sound matched up and I couldnt sense any type of delay at all.

The delay is no longer than a monitors delay. This one works a lot better than most. And ive had about all of them

@@MPGboromost high end monitors have a response time of 3-10 Ms and these have about 23 Ms from what I can remember. It's hard to tell anything below 30 ms unless you are a very hardcore competitive gamer.
