Wait a minute, just a gosh darn minute; the Stepfather was shot in the back and stabbed in the chest (close to or into the heart) yet he still somehow managed to survive and star in a sequel ---it really doesn't make any darn sense ?! 😮🧐
I was recently re-watching another horror franchise (When a Stranger Calls), and it really reminded me how good the later Stepfather movies were. I mean, they really could've been worse. For crying out loud, the Stranger remake has worse reviews than its' own Asylum mockbuster. The Stepfather series could've been so much worse, and I really can't bring myself to be that harsh on them anymore.
I'm only a step farther, so these films really speak to me! Seriously though, I've loved first 2 so much growing up. The 3rd was a little bad and I watched the remake when it came out and never again.
