holy heck.... i finished it, i actually freaking finished The Stolen Hope.
I started this series back in 2014, and now its 2018, I was 12 and now im 16. This series got me through so so much in life and it's really shaped who I am today. It is who I am, it's part of my identity. I never once imagined my little sparkle cats would end up so far and touch so many people's hearts. It's just, wild to me. It feels so strange uploading the final episode. I have so many beautiful memories with my cast and the people who have helped make this. Its bittersweet uploading this, but alas, she's finished.
I know I was more fortunate than others when it comes to creating a series. I was able to start it young and finish it in high school and was granted more time than others. I just hope that this series serves as an inspiration for my viewers (young and older) to create their own stories.
Making a series is no easy feat, but the euphoric feelings of uploading episodes and creating your characters is the greatest in the world. It melts my heart every time I got fan art because it means that someone cared enough to draw my ideas. That's incredible to me.
I am so happy this is done, i'm happy I was able to tell a full fledged (HEAVILY FLAWED) story in its completion, but i'm sad because of what it meant to me. It doesn't matter, because it's a feeling I wouldn't trade anything for.
12 year old me would be absolutely ecstatic right now and I wish I could go back in time and tell her what was in store.
Thank you to every single one of my fans who motivated me the entire time. I can't explain how thankful I am for you.
Now I guess I have some down time to start on my next series, Safe Era: Local's Legacy, but that won't be for a while, until then I'll take a little break, a "vacation" to reward myself

This series has recently been rebooted. I wrote this whole thing originally when I was 12 years old, and the flaws in the art, writing, and animation are glaring. The series is far from perfect, and now that I’m 19, I can’t even bring myself to watch it anymore due to its cringier moments. This series does not reflect who I am as a creator today. While I understand that many find nostalgia, comfort, joy, and amusement from this show, I have a strong dislike. However, I know that I was a child when I created this, and I don’t want this to discourage young children also interested in creating their own content. The reason I don’t like it is because I am my biggest critic, and I have grown immensely over the years in my animation and storytelling skills, so when people attach this series to my name, as if I have control over it today, it bums me out. Don’t get me wrong, this series was amazing, fun, and exciting to write and produce! And I’m glad so many people love it! I just wanted to make a comment, almost 7 years later, addressing the fact that this show no longer represents who I am as a person. Once you finish this series, I recommend checking out the rebooted version of the show, which is currently in progress! They are two separate entities, but I feel as if the reboot is much stronger in a variety of ways. Thank you all for your wonderful support with this show! You guys are the best

Nothing hits me in the feels more than seeing characters with kids, characters with kids grown up and seeing dead characters meet with parents, siblings, children, loved ones, great job making a happy ending that made me sob my eyes out!

I’m looking at Vivian and..damn. She lost her sanity just to at least have one compliment. All because she wanted Ares acceptance. To be loved. She isn’t even a grey, light, or dark. She was her own color. She lost her sanity, and went out for revenge. And even before death, she was still seeking Ares acceptance. It’s sad to see what potential she had thrown away, just because she wanted someone to accept her for her. Or to impress someone. She is very interesting.

I think Vivian went to hell. She was never cursed, was she? So it’s not like a curse drove her to be evil like Maxwell, Ares, or Vixy. She was just vengeful.

I cried the whole time this was breathtaking Vixy's change, and standing up to Ares. Lunis' almost death. Rose's ghost talking some cents into Lunis. All of it so astounding. This is what I subscribed for.

there will be no season two. there is no episode 17. it’s done. the series is over. i am moving to new projects, aka a rebooted version of this series! the first episode is out now! also, to explain the after life! everyone goes to the same place, it’s like a “paradise” of sorts, and when you go there, your past mistakes and all evil in your soul vanish. it’s like a brand new start, that is why maxwell, ares, and vivian are all there!

Thank you Lem so much for giving me the opportunity to voice such a complex and fun character. She's been a part of my life for the better part of 4 years and I've loved her since day 1. I've been in the animation community for a long time, and in the moments when I wonder why I'm still here I remember I'm watching young driven passionate people work on their passion projects and grow and build their own communities and that's amazing. That's especially true for you and for this series. It's come such a long way and I've watched you and it mature and grow. And it's been an honor to be a part of that. Am I sad it's over? Yes but I'm glad it happened, and I'm glad it got to have a resolute ending, something kind of rare in this community. Thank you for all you've given us, even when it can't have been easy. I look forwards to seeing where you and your passion and your talent take you.

Your story really did inspire me, to create my own series. Watching your first episode video back in first grade and now your last episode in the 5th grade made realize how far your art style changed, how much you improved. This series brought me to happiness, and the courage to start my series and share it with my friends. Watching the hard work you put into this is amazing :) Keep up the great work!

That ending credits scene with Dusk and Moo made me LOSE IT. This was beautifully created, and I'm SO glad I got to see the end to this series. I've been watching since the beginning and the fact that you've stayed dedicated for this long amazes me. This story has been one emotional roller coaster, and the way you've developed these characters amazes me and will continue to amaze me for as long as I know about this series!

Also, I love Vixy so much, she's so developed and such a likable character (to me at least, she's badass) and that scene where she had the flashback had me crying too. I cannot get over this episode, catch me drawing 72 scenes from it

I still enjoy revisiting this series every year. And every year I always forget to not get attached to the characters all over again because of the heartbreak later on. You know you have done good when you can rewatch a series and are able to fall in love with the characters all over again.

Congrats on completing your series! It's been a wild ride to watch and be a part of. Thank you so much for letting me play Ares and allowing me to put my own spin on the character [as I've never been a great impressionist]. He was interesting, possibly misunderstood, and a real challenge to play that's for sure. A part of me will miss him but I'm glad to see it all come to a satisfying conclusion. You're officially one of the few animators to have completed their series and for that, you deserve a medal and a cake XD. I look forward to seeing what you do next and wish you the best of luck with everything. Wherever you end up next, I'm certain it'll involve just as many wonderful adventures and even more greatness. The only word I can muster right now is WOW! I found this series years ago and caught up with real time (around episode 14) and never finished it till now, the ending was so emotional and amazing! You did a spectacular job on this and so did all the voice actors! Honestly you are such an inspiration of mine and I cant wait to have my own series come to life like this soon! Keep being amazing and I hope for the best on your future works! (also to all the people commenting for a season two its kinda rude considering they have stated multiple times there not going to make one please stop.)

The ending made me tear up. I loved Vixy's redemption. I love how you gave her character development throughout the series. I also appreciated how Aires, despite how much of a brute he was, he still had people he cared about, and he was clearly upset about killing Vixy and Vixy betraying him. I also kind of liked how he reunited with Kaylee and his mom in the end. I also loved Jackson and Lunis' demon babies! I liked how one of them looked like Kaylee. I also liked seeing Moo grown up, and I liked the scene where he and Dusk visit Caroline's grave. The fight scenes were really well animated!! I liked the details of ruffled up fur, like at 8:21. It's only two lines, but its a nice detail! And everyone looks so floofy! I can't believe this series is finished. I remember when I saw your journal about the series on DeviantArt. I remember the join.mes! I remember you animating the first few scenes of the first episode! I also remember seeing a video of Sharp's voice actor doing his lines, and saying "test" like a pedophile. And him telling his parents that he had to do two lines XD I was one of those people who was there from the beginning, and Im so proud of you! Im so happy to see this series completed! Great job, as always! Your art has improved, the animation and writing has improved and holy crap I'm so happy for you! I loved this series! Can't wait to see what you do next!

i cant stpo thinking... its over... like.. wow like how it started with Lunis not wanting to leave home, and how she is now a queen/princess. How everything was happy, and they all made it past everything together.the saddest deaths of the most amazing people, and the most worst, the ending just.. amazes me.. nobody will ever live up to be as amazing as you. and nothing will ever be able to win over this amazing masterpeice. as much as it hurts me to say this, im gonna miss this. if this was made into a movie, no doubt i would watch it, and cry over and over and over, and watch the memories of this replay in my head. i love this series and nothing will stop me so wow...

who ordered a sappy comment? alex did i have the receipts! wow gosh i can’t believe this is over already, it feels like yesterday i was joining the tsh colorist discord. i had only barely knew lem, around 15 people were on. now it’s left with 9 people. some are my best friends and i love them with all my heart. working on this as a colorist wasn’t just “coloring stuff”. it was a learning experience for all of us. no one would guess have the shit we talk about on there (most not even relating to tsh). i remember when alex was like “hey guys i’m writing he finale rn!!!” and we all bursted onto the google doc and watched and then cried, and then yelled at alex for killing off our favs :(. it’s been a long long long journey with many ups and downs. we were a genuine family, and i’m sad to see this is over already. locals ass better get ready because ohhhh boy we are coming for him. i love you all. thanks to all the fans and cast for this amazing experience. happy holidays. - clare / moonheart01

ok so H O L Y S H IT THIS WAS INCREDIBLE just about every scene had me on either the edge of my seat or on the verge of tears lol it was so good and I am absolutely blown away at your animation talents, writing and to the voice actors and just everyone who helped make this !! the arguments and battle between Vixy and Ares was just incredible and emotional, and definitely shocked me the most out of the whole finale, Rest In Peace Vixy :( man, everything to Vixy having flashbacks, to Lunis meeting the first leader of the lights and to the final battle against Ares, it was all so well done that whole sequence at the end left me sniffling and tearing up wow, this has got to be one of the best solo animated series on RU-vid :,> I’m really sad it’s over, but very proud of you and excited for your future animations!! :D

i cant believe im getting emotional over sparklecats?? that "where are they now" scene with Big Moo got me choked up but in all seriousness this series was such a fun journey. all of the characters were so much fun and had so much depth and love poured into them, and it's so easy to feel just how much passion and care went into making this episode and all the ones before. the stolen hope is such an inspirational series, and im so excited for what comes next!

well shit lem you’ve outdone yourself. you should be proud of yourself for doing hours of animation. this episode was beautiful. it made me happy to see ares get some love at the end. he was a baby at heart. i’ve gotta say I expected vixy to throw herself down a cliff with ares in her jaws, but seeing him being torn apart by the whole group made it a lot less cliche. good job lem god.

This is so amazing. I'm sorta glad that I watched the first few episodes when they came out and then stopped a bit because when I saw the premiere I just had to watch all of it in one go. I absolutely loved it and I almost cried because it was so touching. Usually, I don't see many original animated series that got so successful so it was really awesome to see one that has excellent animation, storyline as well as designs. So thank you for doing this and pulling through because I can only imagine how much work was put into this :)

Thank you so much for such an amazing series :) I’m not one to cry over something that I’ve just gotten into, but I just watched this series today and this ending had me in tears. Thank you thank you thank you! I’m so late but I am extremely great full for such talent being put into this, I have dreams of making successful series’ like this and this brings my hopes up! Btw, love the ending scenes! Makes me so happy to know Jax and Lun had kits and are happy! As well as Vixy queen

I've seen the start of alot of great ideas on RU-vid but the animators almost always give up on them, (and I understand that animating is not an easy task and people have different lives but) Thank you so much for blessing us with this.

This was an absolutely beautiful ending. I've stuck with this series since 2016 and it's been one of the greatest journeys I've ever been on, even if I had nothing to do with the creation! I'm so happy for you and this ending was one of the best I could have asked for. Seeing everyone in the afterlife and happy makes me so happy. It's been a long but enjoyable journey and I'm sad to see it go, but I'm so glad. Thank you for a wonderful series. Thank you, cast, colorists, everyone for making this happen.

I remember finding this series around the time the first episode came out, I was one of those people that thought it'd never finish, but boy was I wrong. I stumbled upon this story in my recommended not too long ago and I remembered watching the first episode. Once I started I simply could not stop. I was glad to make it all the way to the end and I just want to say this story did not disappoint. I simply love the character development in the show and it made me so emotional. Another thing that I absolutely loved was the improvement in your art and animation skills as the story progressed! I am absolutely astonished and happy with the ending and it just made me feel like I read a really good book. (In this case, watched one!) Kudos man, I can't wait to see what you do in the future

It's cool to see animated projects like yours from start to finish. Months and years of improvement in all aspects, even if none of it reflects your current skill. Of the ones I've seen (at least the ones with cats or wolves as the main characters) this is one of my favorites.

I think... I think I cried lem. I’ve been with this series since episode 8 and let’s just say it’s been a rocky ride. Lem, you inspired me when I was almost 10/11 years old. You helped me get onto my feet and just.. create. Without this series I don’t think I would be where I’m at today. Without your little sparkle cats I wouldn’t be here animating at all, or even drawing in fact. Instead I would’ve probably just quit. Without your constant encouragement for me to keep on drawing fanart for your series I wouldn’t be here drawing today. I discovered TSH in a time when I didn’t think anything I did was good enough, but TSH changed that. You changed that. So thanks lem, and to your little edgy sparkle cats

*Spoilers* I kno I already tweeted about it but I'm just gonna comment anyways. That was amazing. From Vixy's character development to Ares' death to the bittersweet ending. I was near tears on the end. I love the idea of everyone going to a certain paradise where all evil in their soul is gone. And Jackson's and Lunis' demon babies were the best. I will protect. Once more, congrats on finishing your series! It's a feat not many people in our community have achieved, and you definitely deserve to be amongst our highest rank of the "I have finished my series"-elite xD Great job! looking forward towareds Local's Legacy!

through all the good characters, art, and like the end "only time will tell" how amazing this series has been. Seeing the credits go through hUrTs. Knowing that the characters live peacefully and are all forgiven. I'm glad they all rest in peace. Thank you for this show and story that has changed so many people. Ok, I watched this Christmas night and am just now able to collect my thoughts into an appropriate, intelligible expression of how I felt about this finale: *FANFUCKINGTASTICCCC* ! Everything was wrapped up so nicely and jampacked with emotion in the end, it also took turns I wasn't prepared for! Especially with Ares, Vivian and Lunis! :U ALso the animation is at its best here from the lyp-sync to the motions, adding sooo much more to the whole story. It is also pretty amazing you not only created a series but improved with each episode and finished it while in _Highschool_ ! That is a ton of dedication and it certainly paid off! You should DEFINITELY enter a career in either directing or animation after graduating and then slap this on your resume. I've enjoyed watching your battling sparkle cats series and will miss it, but I look forward to your future stories! owo

When i saw the song jerome and saw the animation for it i was really sad about vixies death. Then i see this and how she dies and everyone else who was good. I cried at vixies death and was upset for the others. I also cried at the end when everyones spirit was reunited with there familys. Even iris. Good job on these animations and amazing job to everyone whi helped make these episodes. Congrats

I am really an emotional person, I went back to see the old ending again. and BOI Did it hurt, it was so damn well written and stunning it hurt so bad seeing the people wearing more than 1 pearl necklace, Meaning they have lost someone and I can not imagine the grief they must have felt, boi was that emotional from Vivian losing her mind thinking that she had to demote her life for Ares and being acknowledged, too Vixy finally standing up to Ares manipulative and Toxic domestic ways, I cannot this was so beautiful even in 2021. Boi do I hope the Rewrite is as good if not even better! I'm lost rn the tears are rolling down

The ending was.... how do I put it? Um... BREATHTAKING I loved it the little kittens, the family's reunited, the little flite with Dad (a.k.a Jackson) in the moonlight. Oh... I just loved all of it, this entire service was amazing, fantastic, incredible, there's not one word that can describe it. I loved all of it and I can't wait to see what it is that you will create next.

This was an absolutely amazing series! It was pretty interesting, sad, kinda funny, and just incredibly amazing in general. It always gave me surprises when someone got injured or killed even though it kept happening. I absolutely loved this series. You did an amazingly great job!

This series is so amazing. The character development, the animation, the personalities, the scars, the fights...etc. all of it was so amazing and I hope that whoever watches this series will never forget how beautiful yet scary this series is. I can't believe it's over. After following this series for so long and doing reviews and chatting with you off and on, it's incredible to see it completed. What a finale! What improvement! What wonderful voicing and gorgeous backgrounds! You've come so far in your creative journey, and this is truly an example of this. I remember watching and reviewing the first episode ages ago, pointing out the flaws and commenting on the rough animation. And here I am today, witnessing an artist's growth through the years of dedication and practice. I am blown away by your ability and your improvements, and I will be the first in line to support any of your future projects. You've truly inspired us all, Lem. Lem, I'm glad I've watched this story ever since it started, You have grown so much and I'm very proud of you. This was the best episode in my opinion. I see little Jackson's and Lunis's? as well as little Vesta's and Apollo's? ;) but in all seriousness I'm glad you finished this, I'm truly going to miss this series a lot, but all things must come to an end. And a good job to all of the colorists and voice actors as well. I'm excited to see Local's Legacy now, take your time and enjoy your "vacation". A journey is completed. I'd also like to mention that you've inspired me to start an animated series in the near future.

Okay first up- The series got better and better I’m blown away- By improvements, The lip-sync the design, The background everything has been improved just for us. So I’d liked to say thanks for that ! Second- I’m very glad you made this series, I found it a couple of days ago and fell in love with it, Super happy you did this, And thanks to everyone who participated. That’s Mainly it! I'm gonna miss this series, it's probably my favorite finished animated series on RU-vid, I'm just really sad that you are moving on criii, I love this idea of this series! Aeries design is amazing, and this all is amazing! I kinda wish there was gonna be a season two. But I'm excited for what else ya have! I also have a question, what did Sharp look like before he lost/ripped his fur?
