is it ? was it ? As someone who has been to A LOT of shows and dates someone in a band who has also been to a lot of shows, I have never seen this nor has my fiancé.
Shelby Gossett I saw Maiden in front of over 100,000 at Wackon Fest in Germany.....and they didn’t do it despite singing every lyric in perfect English. This is rare
Lol...for such an iconic frontman, and I genuinely enjoy watching/listening to him, he's a shockingly bad live singer. He's about an entire key out here. At least!!
Have to agree on that, he's not been a good live singer and that's a crying shame as his studio recordings are spot on, always wondered if the band have ever pulled him up on this.still love him and the roses regardless ❤️😉
This Has to be the best crowd participation opening song at any concert EVER!!! THIS IS THE ONE where The Stone Roses went a concert to see 50,000 people sing
When Liam Gallagher played the Glasgow Hydro a few years ago, 2017-18 I think, they played I Am The Resurrection right before he walked on. Place went mental and we sung the intro and then the whole song as well. Brilliant night. There's video of it on RU-vid.
Calan Graham I was there an it defo wasny shite but by far the poorest Roses gig av been at, still a tremend night tho, hope u get to see them at their best 👍
fraz1314 aye to be fair Ian brown wasn't too good but the crowd made that night amazing and you couldn't even hear him at the front cause too much folk singing hahaha
@@no1zambia255 dont get ur point unless ur saying it covers even more ground than *just* "british", if not and ur actually disagreeing with it being british, u make no sense, british culture *is* christian culture and always will be, despite what u immigrants think, and its far better than anything else (again dont understand whether ur calling it or whatever)
Went to a gig in Glasgow back in the day. Doesn't matter who's actually playing the music fans in that city are easily the best ever. They basically get it.
Was at this gig great night was also at the opening night at the etihad . Iam Scottish and although I love our people I have to hold my hands up and say I enjoyed the etihad more with all the mancs making us feel so welcome 🙏 just as amazing as us Scots and that’s a hard thing to achieve 🏴
I can't stop watching this. Even after nearly 3 decades, there was such an energetic crowd. It was like a cross between a concert and a football (soccer) game. I wish I was there. It brings me back to the days of my youth.
Anyone who says this gig was shite or that they put nothing into it is talking utter bollocks. Boss video where everyone in the crowd is quite clearly having a great time as I was myself, legends playing one of the most iconic songs of all time. If that don't give you goosebumps then you're an oddball. Better atmosphere at their gigs than any others, no nobheads kicking off everyone just appreciating what they're seeing. Let's hope it's not the last
The crowd made this show utter shite, I was there so I know. I also saw them in NYC at Madison Square Garden and it was amazing! The crowd there wasn't a bunch of drunk idiots like this crowd. Also, the Roses sounded like shite at this show. Watch the videos from the Madison Square gig and compare them to this show and you will undoubtedly realize that that show was head and shoulders above this show.
mate why are you putting them down? this shit is awesome, doesn't matter if you think the crowd at nyc were better because this crowd is undoubtedly enthusiastic and just happy seeing the stone roses live
Went to watch them in Manchester. Not really a lover( don't troll please)Had a fuckin cracking time, you could pick holes out of the quality.Christ tho the tunes make for a great party.Think we gig differently than the Yanks.Im not happy unless I can half not remember the gig...if you get me😊😊😊😊 great fun....and the Roses would deffinatly understand.
@@thisisAndreMattos eu estava nesse show! Infelizmente foi o ultimo da banda desde a volta em 2012. Eles nunca vieram ao Brasil. Eu estava bem na frente enquanto rolava essa loucura la atras. Procure meu video de I wanna be adored em Hampden Park, Glasgow
@@TheCrssouza Uau! Fantástico! Eu sei que um shows deles aqui no Brasil seria precioso, mas um show deles na Inglaterra como você estava, é outra coisa, outro mundo.
What a memorable moment for the audience! There’s such a sense of being and camaraderie when a huge crowd can all agree on loving one thing together. Gives me chills.
Omg, what a crowd! I wish I was there, singing to one of my favorite songs ever, what energy! I have goosebumps, and a smile, and my eyes watering… I get emotional haha
I was in my late teens during the Madchester era and from Manchester too. Best times of my life with some terrific bands to see on my own doorstep including the stone roses. What a time that was!
My British brothers show so much pride at shows like this, as well they should. The Roses, like Oasis, didn't click in a major way in the States. I discovered them only a year ago. I'm 72, and I just bought me a Reni hat! (BTW, I was down with the Beatles, Stones, Kinks and Who etc from Day One! And a little later, Cream and Traffic!)
What an electric crowd! Beautiful music, Beautiful atmosphere. Gigs likes this remind me how beautiful life is. For the next hour or so, the problems that these people had didn't matter anymore. Left them behind the gate escaped to music paradise ❤️
I commented on this months ago, but I must again. I LOVE SEEING THIS. It brings such a wonderful smiling feeling within my soul. Such Beauty. To witness is beyond words. In these up tight NO FUN ALlOWED WANKER tymes we live in, seeing this is just soooooooooooo WONDEFUL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CAPTURING THIS. It's a special moment caught in tyme. Bravo and Props. ❤️
Incredible day out, seen loads of people I knew from work as well. Everyone was there to be totally into it. You can't beat West coast psychedelia being played in the west coast of Scotland. Amazing crowd that did the venue justice. At the end he said it would be the last time, still in shock but good things have to come to an end at sometime.
It's still on , it:s still on.... I was having this back in the early 90's . this music will always sound on and fresh .. let's celebrate! .....I'll drink to this.... Cheers from Mexico.
Camera shaking all over the show, can't see the artist performing yet easily one of the best videos ever, of one of the best bands to have ever come out of England. I'm old enough to have been a part of the Madchester Era and still young enough to enjoy it now (I'm 48). That album from the Stone Roses is my favourite Album of all time. Cheers for uploading, that was magic!
Best day of my life without a doubt. There was something mad in the air that day, never felt a feeling like it. Good people enjoying amazing music together that defined their generation. Biblical. SK x
Mannn, this must’ve felt like you just had to be there you know. I’m over here singing along with the audience. Look at that crowd man. Looks like great vibes everywhere
