I love these 60sesque Stone Roses songs. The La’s too were a great band. Edgy but sentimental and romantic. Better than the stadium rock bands that followed.
The release of this song by revolver ended with the infamous paint throwing incident in Wolverhampton and the chaos and court case that followed. The Stone Roses never wanted it released and hated this video. They had outgrown the song and begged revolver not to release it, but release it they did.

It's because it's kind of an illegal video. The Roses could not stop it being re- released but made the old record company not show the band themselves. Right at the end you see browny on front cover of a magazine so the band went mental and wrecked company's directors car and house with paint.
