Thanks Agent Jenny! I’m just working on an episode with YOU in it (should be out this coming Saturday 🤞) - I don’t think I’ve had you on the show since very, very early on in your shooting career (Aces and Eights… 2018?).
Lol that laugh of Stumptown is one of a kind! It can't be mistaken for anyone else. My eyes were away from the screen even, but I knew and it made me smile!
Black RZR, I’ve got a question for you… what on earth were your eyes doing off the screen? I spend hours in the editing room and you treat this like a podcast. 😜
I must be in so much trouble with so many wives! 😆 Glad you liked the set… I haven’t fully decided how I feel about it. It looks great as a “set” but it looks awkward just sitting in the middle of the room facing nothing. 🤷♂️
Let's make some smoke!! Hell yeah! I must admit I was once a doubter, but with the proper guidance and teaching, once you turn to the dark side there is no going back!
Lots to like in this video. Where to start? I like seeing different clubs, some that shoot in bays with side berms, some with a common firing line. You always show the personalities and the community. I very much appreciate the way you show the shooter moving from the stage to the Unloading Table where the firearms are cleared. I think this demonstrates to viewers who have not attended a match how we control where the loaded guns are.
Thank you so much for this comment! I really try to not JUST show the shootin’. That’s such a small part of what we do over a weekend event. And, I realize it is the main draw and that folks watching wanna see some action. But, I also want to introduce the shooters and let folks experience it as close to first hand as they can.
Working on it! I produce as much as time will allow. As for the new set… I’m not 100% on board with it. It looks great on camera… but when not filming it’s just a sofa facing a door… 🤷♂️ Still workin’ out the kinks.
Happy New Year to you! I use the Thompson in at least one episode (search “Cosplay Action Shooting JEDiTV” and it should come up. If not, let me know and I’ll track down a link for you.
What a beautiful area, and some great shooting!!! I also really like the new gun room. Jedi could you show us your practice area, what your set up is like?
Great comment! I should do an episode or a short on that question. 🤔 The short story is: I do not practice gunfighting, I never have. I do practice guitar though 😉 instagram.com/p/Cm4UXNGJC9E/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Man oh man. I guess i should've listened to my significant other when she wanted to go see her parents. There in Oregon and only an hour away from where this shoot was. Looks like a blast. Scenery is definitely different over here in pa ny and oh. Great shooting.
Great video! 👍 I've been watching the series of CAS events on your channel for a while now. One thing that befuddles my mind (remember I'm old) is how y'all keep track of what to shoot at which target, with which weapon, and from what position. I am constantly confused with the CAS stuff. I'm an old school combat troop and long retired peace officer. I've trained in both professions, and have exchanged hostile fire many times as well. But for the life of me I cannot keep track of how y'all do this. I've always sought cover whenever possible, and engaged immediate threats first. Always being aware of friendly troops, and later, citizens that may be in the line of fire. Reckon I'm from a different world.
Yeah, I hear that a lot 😉 I will say you just get used to the different patterns. And, worse case scenario, IF you shoot it out of order it is a 10 second penalty (and I still do it every once in a while). Make sure to watch this entire series because there is one stage that had a very experienced shooter confused. I was the RO / Timer Operator and offered to help him through the stage, with verbal commands (some shooters don’t like that, which is why I asked). He definitely wanted the help and you will see in the video that I kept him on the targets with loud, clear, verbal instructions. I’ve done the same for LOTS of new shooters over the years. Eventually some of them get good enough to beat me 😜
Jed I...thanks for putting out content....not a ton of quality stuff ot there on CAS. I am driving to my first ever match today, not as a shooter, just checking out my local club to see if I wanna join....but man I'm excited. .you've been a big part of making me feel like it's an accessible sport for a younger guy to get into and join a community Keep up the great work
@@JEDiTV just leaving...everybody at the Tusco Long Riders in Ohio were great, very welcoming. Looks like I gotta break it to the wife that I've got a new hobby.
@@humbleak4770 - Congratulations! And, your wife might wanna play too, there are a LOT of couples that do this sport together (whole families in fact!).
Great video! Hope to get out to Dayton to shoot with them sometime this spring. I like your gun room, but where did you put your shorty Schofields?! You didn't go and trade them off?
Thanks! And, yes, you should make it out that way - it’s a great group of folks. The shorty-Schofields are indeed gone. I had to free up both space and resources to finance other purchases. They were my least used set…
Thanks for the feedback. I’m editing for the next episode now and it is TWO stages 👍 I’ve found with my current schedule it is easier to edit and upload (more often) a single stage rather than a full days match. And, that format might not make sense for some matches but it seems to be working okay for this particular match.
I think I know why your name is Jedi. It's Because you have to use the force to be able to hit the targets in all that smoke. Lol lol 😆😆 cough cough 😂😂
@@JEDiTV from one Jedi to another I know I gotta be right about this. Lol I shot my first match in over 20 years at Texas Ten Horns last Saturday. Getting back into it.
